"Why do I run? What a stupid question!" Gaberiel snorted as he was jumping from roof to roof now.
He was soooo close to the outline of the forest, away from the smoggy dust and ash filled air that was clogging his lungs and turning the once blue sky to a vicious black.
"Why are you chasing me!?!?" Gaberiel screamed back at the pursing Akuma.
"I think you know the answer, Enjeru."
Gaberiel skidded to a stop as Damon seemed to materialize in front of him.
"The gem, Enjeru! Give. Me. The. GEM!" On the last word, the stronger Akuma boy lunged, only to be smacked backwards by a strong gust of wind.
"I KNEW this stupid thing was important!" Gaberiel yelled, and pulled the red, glowing stone out of his inner coat pocket.
Damon's eyes widen at the sight of the gem, and he let out horrible battle cry.
Gaberiel covered his ears. Why was this day so hectic? Why was all of this HAPPENING?
Confused and angered, Gaberiel came to a rash decision.
"You want the gem so bad? Then go-!" Gaberiel threw the stone in a long, beautiful ark, then willed the wind to push it even further, and further into the forest, intill it was barely a speck in the sky, and then, he let it drop.
"Go get it your dang self."

@taffy789 ... Okay, NOW it is 😋 All we need is it to land on a sharp rock and break into tiny fragments... Or better yet, some woodsguy nut thinks it's some kind of bird or at least something edible, and shots an enchanted arrow at it which also shatters it into tiny fragments! 😃

Amy saw some other kids ahead of her. Not more Hybrids?! She prayed as she ran, and being far from an Olympic runner, she had quite some time to do so. Eventually she had to stop for a breather, realizing how utterly unfit she was. Sorry excuse for a boy, she berated herself.

"You IDIOT!" Damon screamed, watching the gem soar away, then turned back to face Gaberiel.
"Do you KNOW what you just did?!?"
"Get you off my back?"
When Damon kicked Gaberiel so hard he fell back and knocked off the roof shingles, the Enjeru knew he was wrong about that assumption.
Damon stood over Gaberiel, a knife in his hand, and ready to strike.
"I'll kill you, this annoying pest, and then i'll go find the gem!" he hissed.
Gaberiel flinched as Damon got ready to strike him...
"Agh!" Damon screamed as he was hit in the shoulder with an arrow.
"Back off Damon." Erin warned, loading another arrow in the bow she'd stolen from a enemy Enjeru.
"Erin, couldn't even Angelica take care of you? I knew she was WEAK, but I didn't realise-"
"Angelica was SMART and went off to find the gem before someone else could." Erin shrugged. "That's what her master wanted, at least..."
Damon took a few steps backwards. "He's not our MASTER, but our commander! And-"
He paused as if listening to something else.
"...He does want us to find it. ...URG! You live THIS time, Erin, but if you get in the way ONE MORE TIME-"
And he was gone.
Erin let out a sigh, and ran her fingers through her hair, tired.
A second later, her face hardened and she rounded on the hurt Gaberiel, grabbing him by the collar and shaking him while screaming, "HOW DARE YOU EVEN THROW THAT THINK STUPID! I TOLD YOU TO KEEP IT SAFE IDIOT!"

Amy thought she heard some more screaming, and decided she wouldn't be going that way. She instead went in a more easterly direction.
In some ways, this was good. Her family would think that she had been killed in the catastrophe, and wouldn't go looking for her. Although, a part of her wished Ti would, if only because there seemed to be a heck of a lot of hybrids around today.

Sylvia watched the scene quietly from a burning rooftop. She did not go after the gem, because she had no specofic orders to, just to catch the enjeru. Sylvia shrugged and shot an fireball at the unsuspecting enjeru girl and jumped off the roof onto the ground, ready to fight.

Casey climbed back up onto the roof. -le sigh-... she was alone again. The flames had crawled up to an impossible height. Sylvia had probably gone after the Enjeru boy..

Amy reached the forest, and after sucking in a deep breath, full of fear and anticipation, she stepped inside. She was taking her first steps out of the life she'd been living, and into the great unknown.
Nature never ceased to fascinate her. How one plant can completely mimic another's appearance, but still be completely different, how part of one can cure hiccups yet another part of the same plant can kill in seconds.
It was magic.
She became completely wrapped up in it, naming every tree, flower, moss, vine, everything she knew as she passed it.

Erin continued to slap Gaberiel repeatedly for throwing away the gem.
"Hey!" Gaberiel shouted, grabbing the girl's hand.
"City burning? Us escaping?"
Erin slapped him one more time for good measure.
Then, sighing, "You're right. Let's get out of here."
She ran her fingers through her light brown ponytail, and started to work her way across the rooftops, very slowly.
Gaberiel considered ditching her a moment, but instead, sighed, grabbed the girl, and used his wind to push them rooftop to rooftop, intill they reached the forest.
"Thanks." Erin said upon landing. "Now, I'm taking you back to Estre."
"Estre? Who's that?" the Enjeru questioned.
"More like WHAT'S that. It's where I'm from, not THAT far, of course."
"Sounds like a prison. What if I refused?" Gaberiel challenged.
His response was being tackled; a rope being tied around his hands.
"Nice answer." Gaberiel stated scarcastically.

Sylvia bit her bottom lip then started pacing around the burning street. She was supposed to be on patrol. Several others were also walking around, looking for the escaped Enjerus. She wanted something else to do.

PSS: More info on the difference about the Akumas and Enjerus, Akumas don't really care about others, in a way. 😋 Like they'll be the first to save their own skins. Enjerus are more helpful. XP

You know what was strange about the forest? The knowledge that no one else was there. In the city, someone was ALWAYS close by, perhaps asleep, but still there. For someone used to the constant secruity (but also slightly paranoid; she never could relax or just be HER... She had to always be HIM), the forest felt scary, almost more like people were watching than the city, only you couldn't see who was there. Her body ached and Amy wished to rest, but she was still on the outskirts... She'd have to go much further to escape unwanted detection.
And what a crazy day she'd had...
She shivered, knowing that today's events would haunt her in her dreams, perhaps forever...
But she was too tired to think of that, and instead concentrated her energy on walking.

Yes, people are born Enjerus, so there can't be a "youngest one". Also, wing growning is only in critcal need, and it's not even a power listed in the list.
