Syrus was turning around as the dog leapt on him. "Ahh!" He fell back. Silic turned around, looking at Syrus. "What's so 'Ahh!' about a dog?" "It might have rabies!" He exclaimed. "Can I have your game consoles if you die?" She asked.

'This is Cairo by the way, he wont hurt you unless I tell him,' Gesturing with her hands Cairo growled. It showed that she was serious. 'So where are you guys from?' she asked politley. She despartly need some friends or people on her side for that matter.

"Hello! Will you need assistance finding what you would like?"
"No thank you" Holly said. "I know what I need"
Holly walked over to the cloths on the shelf and picked up 3 things. A brown sweater, a dark green shirt, and a pair of jeans. Everything was going good, untill the woman saw all of the cash
"How did you get all that money?" she asked. The n she said "Where are your parents?"
"My parents are at home, and they gave me money for food and cloths." Holly said shaking. It was her first big lie.
"Are you shure?" she asked
"Yes." Holly said
"Well, I'm a parent, and I don't let my kids go out alone during these dark times. Do you want me to call your parents."
"No! Umm.... No, thank you." Holly said. She didn't know her parents died when she was 10. "I'm good."
The woman was still suspicious. Holly paid for the cloths, and got out.

'So Holly, what's your story?' asked Viveka hoping she would get some answers in this dark time.

They were both killed by a terrorit bombing, at least thats what I was told. The last project parents were working on was a 'super soldier gene'. Cairo was a puppy of the dog in the experimet. Viveka sighed 'About that wanted stuff, the night my parents died and I came home to an empty house. There was a note on the table, I read it and it was just an adress. Suddenly, these assailts dressed in black broke in. I beat a few up and the fled. One guy took me down and I snapped his neck. I feld with Cairo and took my dad's motor bike.'

NONE of us knows how to use our powers. We don't even HAVE them until you get through challenges set especially for you. NONE of us have any advantage... and we've all seen the devil.

I looked around, when I realized a grating voice was ripping through my mind. It struck fear deep into my heart, and the words weren't exactly comforting. By the look on the others faces, they heard it too.

A voice echoed through her mind, she listened carefully. She was scared, but not unbelievably so. She wasnt terrified, but the voice made her shiver.
