So. People are quitting. This is not a stupid complaint about "oh people are quitting why is this". This is not a stupid complaint about my friends quitting.

Can't you guys RESPECT other people's decisions? Okay, your Egg Cave bestie just quit. I can understand you're sad. But you don't need to:
- beg for them to come back
- create a topic about Egg Cave withering like a stupid tree
- tell people not to quit or accuse people of quitting

When they're quitting, they don't want to remember your sad face as s/he left. They want to remember your smile. Your feelings. Not your dread and depression and death of depression.

I'm not aiming this at anyone or trying to insult anyone. This may just be a mood I'm in. But I'm making this topic anyway, I don't care if I'll regret it, I'm just LETTING IT OUT. It's just that it's gone too far, people are starting to create topics about this. Yes, this is also a topic about it, but who cares? The majority of you are soon going to, so what's the difference? Some have even posted on Ian's wall. What can he do? Beg the quitter like everyone else?

You can say stuff like, "You don't understand my feelings" to me, but you're just going to feed my flame. I don't care if you don't support this: I told you to move along because it was random crap. You don't have to reply.

I agree entirely with you. People come and go. If people quit, then let them quit. They're probably going through a hard time, and begging will probably make it worse. Maybe they're going through tests, and they really need to study; it could affect their life, and you're ruining it. It's the Internet. Rather, I find it better, if you really want to keep in correspondence, try to find other ways to contact them. Deviantart or Neopets is a good way, as well as through email. If somebody quits, it doesn't mean you're letting go of them forever; you're just saying 'bye' here.

I understand! Once, someone PMed me because their friend was quitting. They wanted ME to post on their wall to say "don't quit". And even though I did, I think that the person's friend could've made their own decision by themselves. Not have their friend make people go "doooon't gooo." or something. Oh well, at least that person didn't quit afterwards. 😊 ☹️ 😋 😸

@Karamel I agree, people are saying that Egg Cave isn't the way it used to be, but it's not Egg Cave's fault, it's the people in it. And "withering like a stupid tree" made me laugh, that's a really good simile. 😃

@Karamel Hehe, no prob. x] There's been so much drama lately and it's kind of interesting to see how people you wouldn't expect to react and shows a different side of them. Not saying that drama is good, though.

What really annoys me is when a user decides to do something nice, like giving away CC, some people say, "Wow, you're so nice!" or "That's really generous of you." There's nothing wrong with that, it just (from my point of view) doesn't sound real or they're trying to increase their chance of winning. Especially when 10+ people say the exact same thing. -/-

But yes, I agree, I find it very annoying. If someone quits and lets people adopt their eggs, I think it's unnecessary for them to say "It's sad that you're quitting, but could I adopt -insert name here-" or when they ask for so many creatures and so many users ask for that same creature(s).

@evolutary I used to do that when I was a "newbie" and an "idiot" (I'm still an idiot, BTW). But what REALLY annoys me is when someone quits and specifically says (in CAPS) that s/he's not going to adopt out... then a newbie says "OMG CAN I HAVE THIS AND THIS AND THIS AND THIS AND THIS AND THIS AND..."
etc.
I mean, come ON...

I know some people who make you feel so frustrated that you want to shout at them, and that's just the normal people.

@Opal_Dreams Everyone was new once and we all make mistakes.
I don't think that person was necessarily angry at you, they probably received a lot of junk offers on that lot, but who knows. ;] Some people are like that, which I find quite normal.

Edit: @Karamel There's a few people on Egg Cave who I find their personalities really annoying ... but that's just me, I'm quite negative at times. 😉

@snowball888111 It wasn't a bad choice, it's just basically doing the same as everyone else: begging. It's your decision anyway, and even if I say it was a bad choice we can't do anything about it.

Some people are even more sad when their RL buddies quit EC, even though they can actually see each other IRL.

I agree too, I do think it's okay to just say you're sad to see someone go and prefer if they stayed, but not the repeated whining you see a lot of these days.

The thing which pisses me off most isn't the begging people to stay or the regular creature asking though, it's the seriously selfish and rude way some people ask for things. Some examples:

"I'll take whichever rares are left"
"I'll take any Le's"

I seriously want to punch people who say stuff like that, I mean the way it's said is just plain offending, like they get to decide who gets what. Plus if you don't have a specific pet you want it's obvious you're just going to trade them. I know requests like this usually just rot, but they still [yeep] me off >.<
