Lucas kept running from the zombie he cant look back he now lived on his own he ran into a abandoned cave and started a fire.

Adistant shuffle of leaves reached her ears and KAy nstantly looked up. She could distinguish a ong thin trail of smoke lining the sky in the other part of the forest and squinted her eyes to determine whether it was a camp fire or a simple one.

Despite being wary of the fire, she stood up and headed out of the cave abd towards the source of the smoke.

She soon saw another cave in the middle of the forest.

Katia kept close to Steve, peering over at Tessa. 'a zombie bite...' she breathed, clutching Steve's limp hand.

Tessa's fever was spiking. She felt like she was in an oven being baked alive. Stabbing pain radiated from her arm.

Kay nodded at KAtia's remark and was quick to run to the other side of the cave and retrieve the bag with the medicine that she'd taken from her shack before the trip had begun. A pile of bandages was stacked into the greysh green bag and she momentarily emtied the backpack's contents onto the ground next to Tessa.
"Act fast." she said, more to herself than to Katia.
At the speed of light, she pulled out a small pocket knife from one of the backpack's slots and flicked it open. She approached Tessa and took her arm.
"This will hurt." she mumbled, realising that the unconscious girl probably could not hear her.

She spared no time to hesitate and quickly cut the gash even more, suqeezing the wound so all the foul blood and goo could trickle out of it. A mere moment later she took out a bottle of olive oil from her bag. She had taken the liqiud in case of snake bites in the forest, but she guessed it could owrk for zombie bites as well. Olive oil was used when someone was bitten. The poison must be sucked out and olive oil was drunk to protect ones mouth from the poison.

She took a large gulp of the icky substance and washed her mouth before bending down and sucking the poison from Tessa's arm. The taste was disguting and she fel her taste buds begin to go numb. She spat the greenish poison onto the ground and repeated the same action a few more times.

"That should do it." she mumbled before spitting on the ground again and proceeded in bandaging the wound. She knew that the poison was still in the girl's sistem but she had gotten a small amount of it out.

Tessa moaned. She saw Aizel through swollen eyes. She was blurry and kept turning different colors. The crack of thunder and pelting of rain was magnified 10x in her eardrums.

Sighing, Kay took her backpack and lifed Tessa's head, placing the backpack under it. The bag wasn't soft but it was definitelly softer than the cold ground of the cave. She pulled out a blanket from it and covered the feverish girl with it. HEr soaked jaclet was once again placed onto Tesa's forehead.

"Kay....?" She rasped. Her mind felt like marshmallows in a microwave. Her throat was so sore and red she couldn't say anymore, and just fell asleep.

"Thank god, you're conscious." she said in relief and placed another wet cloth over her forehead.
"Are you in pain?" she asked.

Tessa moved her arm to rub her inflamed eyes but pain stabbed her arm. She turned to her arm slowly.
"Is...is that......"
She said, staring at the huge bite in her arm.

Aizel slowly and warily nodded.
"Y-yes... but it's all okay. You'll be fine." she said, trying to reassure herself more than Tessa. She did not know whether the girl would survive or not, but she prayed she would.

Tessa stared at the bite. The zombie bite. She didn't cry, because she was never really a crier. All her tears left her when she had to abandon her dad and grandad. but she felt like crying. These kids were her new family, and she realized she couldn't bear to leave them

"how....how long have I been out?" She laid her head back down and stared at the damp ceiling. A chill seeped through the cave and she shivered.

"I-i'm not sure. Two... two hours, I think..." she said. Her voice had almost left her and a lump caught in her throat.
"You'll be alright. I'm sure." she reassured.

Tessa took Kay's hand. "get some sleep, you look like the dead." She said "..uh....oops....just ironic wordplay...." she smiled ever so slightly and continued.
"If I don't survive..through the night.....I just want to let you know, it'll be okay...to..you know....get rid of me..." She frowned, picturing herself as a zombie. "...I-I dont want to infect anyone else."

Kay shook her head.
"You can't ask that of me." she said firmly and her grip on Tessa's hand tightened. Her eyes started darkening again. Tears clouded her vision and sobs racked her thin frame. "I can't do it." she cried into Tessa's shoulder. She'd never in her life shed a tear, for anyone whatsoever but she found herself unable to stop bawling.

Tessa felt a lump grow in her throat, she tried to swallow it but tears pricked the corner of her eyes. Her chances of making it were one in a million.
She hugged Kay awkwardly, as much as she could manage laying on the floor.

Lightning lit up the room.

"Shhh.shhhh." Tessa's tears fell on Kay's bloodstained shirt. She remembered her mother comfortin gher the same way. "Its ok, its going to be okay. Shhhh. Sleep."

Kay quickly regained her composure, calming down quickly and wiping at her tears furiously.
"I-i'm fine. You're the o-one that should get rest." she stated firmly and checked Tessa's bite wound before urging her to get some rest.

Tessa sweated in her sleep. Flashabacks swam in and out of focus, but one was clearer than all the rest.

She was running down a white tiled hall that smelled like antiseptic. Flourescent ceiling lights blinked above her head. She turned behind her..men in white labcoats were chasing and shouting, but all she could hear was her own breathing. She was wearing a thin hospital gown and patient bracelet. "CRYPTON LABS" it read. She was too weak too afraid. There was no exit, no escape...Someone grabbed her roughly from behind. She screamed and felt a needle pierce her skin.
"Wipe her memory" One of the men said. "She knows too much."

Then she passed out.

Shaking her head, Kay stood up from the sleeping Tessa and walked over to Katia, tears still streaming down her cheeks.
"She wants me to kill her..." she whispered and sobbed again.

@bunnyshadow So, all the other guys sorta met my charrie in this old abandoned building and they all stayed int he building for one night but it started raining and then zombies attacled so they had to leave and they took my charrie. Then, unfortunatelly, the truck fell over and got broken and they were surrounded by zombies and had to run to a forest to get away from the dead. There they stayed for two days or so but were once again surprised when zombies came. Kay got nagry, kay's my charrie, and started going loco with her power that she didn't know she possesed. Then everyone fainted because of exaustion of using their powers or because of something else, I dunno. Now everyone's awake and they all are in a cave cause it's raining outside and Kay just discoevered that misty's charrie- Tessa has a zombie bite. 😋

Cyra sat on the other side and shook her head.She seemed to stay away from others and mindlessly walk around the cave at times.She seemed lost and confused but aimlessly stared at the ceiling.

Sylvia stumbled through the cold, stinging rain, fresh blood dripping from the two knives in her hands. Blood was splattered all over her shirt and dead zombies lay nearby in a small puddle of red liquid that quickly turned pink in the rain. Severed zombie limbs were scattered all around and thunder boomed in the sky. A flag of silver - gold lightning illuminated an cave in the distance and anyone in the cave would be able to see her dark silhouette. A thin layer of frost covered the ground and Sylvia's dark purple eyes looked around wildly for a place to hide. Hell on Earth. This was what an Apocalypse was.

@bunnyshadow But first, I'd like to tell you about my new idea that was approved by @misty It's about specially trained soldiers who are picked out at birth for one purpose only, serve the country, They are the ultimate soldiers, they sho no emotion, they kill without the blink of an eye. They are like human looking robots. I'll make a charrie that is one of them. 😊

A faint sound of crumbling leaves reached her ear and Aizel turned her head to look warily at the cave entrance. She shook her head, it was probably just the wind. She was beginning to become paranoid with all this zombie stuff. But how could she not... Tessa was probably going to lose her life to these hideous creatures and there was nothing she could do about it.

Another ruffle was heard from outside and only now did Aizel relise that it sounded like footsteps. She qickly got up and nstched the rifle that lay frogtten on the ground. She edged to the exit of the cave and looked ouside. She found herself looking at a young girl, around their age, who was walking alone through the forest. She put down the gun and watched the girl, deciding whether to c all out to her or not.
