@spiritwolf3 oka, so the all got away from the zombies but it stated raining and now they're in a cave. Sylvia arrived bloodied and angry out of nowhere and the seem to dislike her. The group found out that Tessa had a zombie bite and Kay sucked out the venom. Now a team of highly trained zomie killing soldiers has arrived. They were born and chosen to serve their country. I'll be creating a soldier charrie. You mentioned something about adding Brendon to tbe soldiers... o.o

Characteristics: He is quiet and mostly calm. He speaks only when spoken to as he was trained to do. He follows strict orders from his captain and serves his country proudly. Inside, he possesses a calculating and logical demeanor. Secretly, he desires to escape the trorture that is the army.
Physical appearance: #639 stands at a looming 6'3 with a n athletic build. His hair is platinum blond and shortly cut. His skin is slightly tanned and his eyes are a bright green color, but usually hold a dull look. The number 639 is tattooed on his left shoulder.
Power: None.
Other?: He serves the army and has one and only one purpose - terminate zombies.

Gender: Male
Characteristics: Brendon is a carefree solider who is skilled at fighting but is weaker then normal soldiers. He is more taletend with machinery and has gone through rough times to get to where he is today. He doesnt like fighting and is scared to death of zombies. Mainly Brendon isn't proud to wear a uniform or fight in this war.
Physical appearance: Short choppy jet black hair extremely pale skin. He has many areas where his skin is badly burnt and has many scars running up his body. His most noticeable scar is one which is across his face and he doesn't seem to mind it. His eyes are dark brown and he has freckles all over his face. But he is shy and uncosoleable when it comes to difficult problems...
Power: none
Other?: He has a uncanny resemblence to Cyra...

#639 stood away from the group as they marched forward. He walked close to Brendon and looked around for zombies as they went. The black-haired boy was considered the worst of the worst soldiers but #639 was quite fond of him. The blond soldier approached.
"Wouldn't it have been safer if you stayed in with the tech?" he asked unemotionally. "It's dangerous out here."

Brendon snapped out of his daydream and glanced up at #639." I dunno..maybe it was a mistake to come out here..I don't understand why I decided to in the first place.." he sighed pushing his hair out of his face. He bit his lip and looked out for any danger. He wasnt matching just walking. "But sure the man in charge just barely let me train I don't see why he would let me out..I can hardly do anything.." he muttered trying to keep up.

Returning his gaze back to the road ahead, #639 listened closely to Brendon's reply. He noted himself of the many knocked down trees laying on their way. Due to the blockade, the team was forced to circle around it and then return to the main path. Going up hill was their shortest way to go, so the blond soldier started climbing. Dead-undead bodies (he wasn't exactly sure how to say zombies that are dead... for real) littered the ground, limbs laying meters from their corpses. It was as if a horde of zombies was killed off completely in one place. With the knowledge of how hard it is to kill an undead, #639 wondered how it was possible to do such a thing so fast. The trees too, seemed to be completely ripped off with their roots and (by the looks of things) thrown across the forest. As if some kind of storm had passed.

He shook the suspicion off and turned to face Brendon, replaying his words in his own head. The boy sounded tired and sorrowful to be outside among the dangers. #639 didn't blame the boy. Brendon was often made fun of from the academy, to this mission, he was always thought of either an Emo or a Nerd (sometimes both). Shuffling distractingly, #639 awkwardly turned away, avoiding eye contact. He didn't know what to do or say so he simply blurted out the first thing on his mind.
"Well, on the bright side, you can help us with the zombies with your GPS."

Brendon shrugged "I suppose.." he answered trudging along. He noticed the lifeless zombies spread across the ground "What do you think could have caused such a mass of zombies to this? I mean it's hard to bring down one zombie but nearly hundreds? I don't see what could've caused this huge amount.." Brendon muttered glancing up and down.

Nodding at the first statement, #639 bent down to look at the ground closely. The dust was completely leveled, perfectly grounded around the bodies. He frowned. A storm couldn't have cause this. The result wpoould have been the complete opposite. The trees also seemed to be fallen in different directions. In the case of a hurricane, they would all be laying towards one direction.
"It definitely wasn't a storm... I'm out of options of what it could've been." his dull voice filled the silence. "Maybe some kind of other destructive force, but not a storm..."

Brendon looked off into the distance "Is it possible humans could have accomplished this? It's unlikely but.." he suggested studying the fresh wounds on one of the zombies. A shudder went throughout his body "Eugh..it feels like they could get up and kill us at any moment.." he stated his voice quivering a tad bit.

An eyebrow rose up to his forehead at Brendon's words. It was mostly impossible for humans to have done such a thing. he had no idea what Brendon was implying until it clicked in his head.
"Are you talking about the Gifted? The power-planting program a few years ago?" he gave the boy a questioning look. "Definitely not! They were all terminated, didn't you hear? All experiments were put to sleep after the program didn't succeed. So no, that's not possible. The Gifted are dead." he calmly stated, as if it was the most usual conversation anyone could have.

Brendon looked over "..Yeah..they are.." he said sadly getting up and looking over at others "Then we must figure out other reasons for why these zombies are Erm..dead?" he sighed scratching his head and blinking.

Nodding again for the enthieth time that day, #639 stood upright and dusted himself off. His boots were already soaked with fresh zombie blood, but he brushed it off. Motioning for Brendon to follow, he pointed to their team. The other soldiers were already far ahead.
"Walk and talk? We're going to get lost." he muttered, trotting forward.

Long time no Roleplay?


Tessa woke, harsh sunlight pierced her eyes.
Her mouth was dry, but she felt a heck of alot better than she did last night. The storm was still raging outside, even in the daylight.

She had a slight headache from sleeping on the ground. And maybe a minor cold from being soaked all night.

Having fallen asleep leaning against the wall of the cave, Kay jolted awake as a small shuffle reached her ears. Head snapping to the side, she caught a glance of Tessa. She was awake. Trotting to her backpack that lay on the ground, Kay snatched a water bottle from it quickly and brought it to the girl.

Placing a hand under her back, she helped her sit up and passed her the bottle.
"Feeling better?" she questioned, looking at her n worry. The girl seemed to be feeling better but the bite wound on her arm was still bleeding profusely. And that was why Kay had grabbed a bundle of bandages too. Unwrapping the bloodied lenin, she revealed the aleady healing gash. The infection had disappeared, but the wound was still quite big. After cleansing it with disinfectant, Kay wrapped new bandages around the gash.

Tessa watched as Kay re-wrapped her bite. Grimancing a bit as it stung slightly. "yeah." She answered in the most cheerful way she could.
Gratefully, she took the water bottle and sipped.

She got a horrible remembrance of when the vile rotting thing.....bit her. She shut her eyes. She didn't want to think about it.

But what she didn't understand was the strange powers they had.

Everyone's had....activated?....except hers. She wondered if she even had powers. It wouldn't explain the flashbacks of the white rooms and doctors though....

Cyra shook her head and looked over at Kay and Tessa. Her big blue eyes sparkled with concern as she heaved herself up and trudged over. As her wavy hair fell onto her face she pushed it off "Are you okay Tessa?" she muttered. Still shy and nervous she stayed a few feet away.

Eyes glancing at Tessa, Kay noticed how the girl closed her eyes in what seemed like pain. She paused halfway in putting the medical supplies back in the backpack, looking at her and frowning in worry.
"Are you okay? Still in pain?" her questioning gaze fell on the rewrapped wound.

As Cyre approached them and sat neaby, Kay turned to give her a smile.
"Feeling any better?" she asked, referring to the slight dizzy state Cyra was a bit earlier. The girl had seemed ready to faint and kay was wondering whether she was alright.

Tessa noticed Crya was awake and smiled. "I'm better than yesterday." She said bluntly to Kay. "....thank you for helping me. If you hadn't done that...uhm...thing back there I probably would be dead. Or..worse."

She sat up all the way and propped herself onto the craggy cave wall.

Smiling up at Tessa, Kay sat back, leaning on the wall of the cave. "To tell the truth, the thing I did didn't help in any way. It was you that dealt with the venom. Your body just... rejected it. I don't know how, but you're completely fine..."she commented wit curiosity. "Tessa... no normal human would be alive right now..."

Tessa frowned, her brows furrowed in thought. Maybe Im just lucky, she thought wistfully. No that can't be possible. The words Kay stated rang through her brain.

No normal human would be alive right now.

"Maybe...maybe thats who I am." She said quietly. "Just maybe..thats...my power."

She tested the word 'power' on her tongue. It was such an odd thing. to realize they had powers.

"Who are we?"

Cyra turned and tilted her head at that word. Cyra bit her lip and walked over slightly not too close but in the middle. Her once slick wavy hair was now all frizzy and looked very messy. She shrugged silently glancing over remembering Kay's question ''Oh..I-I'm feeling better..'' she said with a slight squeak in her voice.

From the uncomfortable position of half-leaning on the cave's moist walls, Kay moved to plopp down on a dry section of the rocky floor, settling between Tessa and the snuggled couple - Steve and Katia. A small flash of a smile at the two teens and she turned her attention to Tessa. The girl seemed surprised - more so than she'd expected. She didn't believe in her own powers, nor did she agree to at least concider such an option. Kay frowned upon that.

"You're special, it's pointless denying it. You said I had powers before I even got them... now I'm saying you have powers too." she stated flatly leaving no room for arguments. To her second question, she let a small, makeshift smile show at the corners of her lips. "Us...? We're a big, happy, zombie-killing family."

They sat in silence for about a minute, both contemplating this new information. She felt something swell in her chest, she just realized she belonged somewhere. Her mood darkened as she also realized that even though they were together, there was in fact impending doom upon them.

"What...now?"
