Cyra pushed her hair back and tilted her head but said nothing. Her big blue eyes shined strangely and she closed them quickly before turning her head. Her shy awkward trait had taken over her once again.

Steve nodded at Kay, his lips upturned at the corners in an odd smile. "A crazy one, too." His arm was still around Katia's shoulder, Steve noticed with a pink tint on his brown cheeks.

Katia glanced up, having been silent through most of the conversation. She decided to contribute what was on her mind anyway. 'Myeeeeeh?' she stated, sitting up straight as if this was a word. The auras in this room had mixed together to create a powerful, happy, kind and shy aura, which was pretty awesome. Katia was satisfied with this cosy aura, like a blanket around her.

Despite the cold and moist cave, despite the blood that stained all their clothes and the numerous cuts, scratches, bruises that lined them from head to toe. They were a family. People who had experienced so much together and had bonded throughout all the difficulties on their way. Desire for survival had connected them together from the beginning. But now it was feelings of love and compassion that strenghtened their bond. They were a family. And family meant nobody was left behind or abandoned!

She jolted up, gun gripped tightly in her tanned hands. Her face radiated determination.
"Everybody up! We're getting out of this alive!" her voice had arched up, almost echoing in the cave.

Steve grinned at Katia when Kay stood up, declaring what they were going to do. Live. Breathe. And kill zombies by chopping off their heads. Colour rose to Steve's face as exhilarating energy roared through his whole body. He stood up, and gave a hand to Katia. "Come on, we can do this!"

Tessa couldn't help but smile at Kay's determination. She looked like a true leader, and her words were true. They had been through so much that they were a real family now. They were together.

Slowly Tessa stood up next to her. "Let's do this."

Katia took Steve's hand and jumped up. She quickly punched the air. She then kicked the air and proceed to maul the air while screaming. 'WERE GONNA MAUL EM AND CRUSH EM AND RIP THEIR HEADS RIGHT OFF! YEAH!'

She had been determined enough before, but when one by one everybody started rising proudly, her senses flared with strenght. They seemed to enpower each other with only their presence.

She grinned, reloading her gun and gathering the scattered supplies on the floor. Standing up, she inhaled loudly and strapped the backpack firmly to her back. Her clothes and hair were still moist, sticking to her body in a comical manner.
"Alright, we should split up." her voice had quieted down, wary of being heard. Despite the incredulity of this idea, she believed it could work.
"I doubt it's a smart thing to just jump heroically out there, without knowing what could be waiting for us. We need to scout this forest out a bit, then search for food. Our supplies are running low, we have next to no water. We're dirty from head to toe, wet and cold on top of that." she stated, with a fair ammount of disgust.

Steve stared at Katia, a bit dumbfounded. "I should be used to that now, right?" He sifted his chuckling and listened to Kay. "Good idea, cause then we'd really be crazy if we did that. Ooh! I think I can find a bathhouse close to here, and a house with some leftover clean clothes. That way, we won't be so prone to diseases." He looked around for a spear, dagger or even a pointy rock. When he couldn't find anything expect for a bullet pack, he handed it to Kay and clenched his fists. "I got super-strength, I should be able to knock them down with just my fists!"

Cyra turned to them and tilted her head "Suppose that's a good idea..but what if one of us while split up gets injured or worse?" she said her voice shaking and she obviously seemed nervous on the whole idea but her eyes seemed determined to do it anyway. Fidgeting with her lip piercings she kind of shuffled a bit foward and looked at all of them.

Katia smiled, calming a bit. 'True true. And finding new clothes is a good idea.' she smirked, stretching her arms. 'Food.. Yum.' she muttered before turning back to the group. 'I agree with Cyra though. Any one of us could get injured or worse. She scanned the outside of the cave, which was visible to her, and cocked her head. 'All the zombies out there.. I just wanna CRUSH EM!'

Nodding in Steve's direction, Kay calculated everyone's powers and their usefulness in different circumstances. Steve had superstrenght, Cyra was super fast, Katia has pshycic powers and she had... whatever she had. There was also Tessa, who showed signs of having powers, but was still too weak to fight... She looked downwards, eyes fixed on the tips of her feet as she weighted the possibilities. When Cyra and Katia voiced their doubts, she had a ready answer for them.
"Nobody will get hurt." her statement was firm and left no room for arguments. "Like I said, someone has to go scout ahead before we all go out. We make two groups - one stays here, the other goes outside to scout. Now, Steve has super powers. They're good for attacking but also good for defending. He stays here to defend the 'Cave group'. Cyra has super speed, so she'll be part of the Scouting group. Tessa's still weak, we can't let her endanger herself so she stays here. Katia, we can't have too many people outside so I think you should stay as well. The Scouting group is me and Cyra. Whatever happens, Cyra can get us out of there fast, right?" she glanced sideways at the black-haired girl, asking for confirmation that she could handle carrying Kay around. The groups were set, everything fit together in her head and she hoped noone had any objections about that.

'Hmph.' Katia grunted, sticking her nose in the air. 'Not good enough to go outside, eh? Well what if I WANT to go outside, huh? What if I wanna kill some zombies? What are WE supposed to do? Sit here and wait for the ones good enough t come back? Keh.' she said angrily, her hopes of zombie massacre crushed.

Kay let out an exasperated sigh, turning to face Katia. The girl was surely one heck of a fighter, she had to admit that, but given the circumstances, it would be better if she stayed.
"We all want to go out there and fight the [yeep], but for now, the Scout group needs to be as discreet as possible. Everyone here is important and we can't afford to lose anyone. If we're a big group outside and we get in a sticky situation, there's a big chance someone would go down. Katia, you have your pschycic powers, your invisible fields, you're our shield, we CAN'T lose you." she accented on her words, hoping that Katia would agree to her reasoning. "Besides, we need someone to take good care of Tessa and that's you. You're smart."

Cyra turned and scratched her head. Looking out of the cave she wondered how many zombies were waiting patiently..if zombies did have patience, maybe they were on their way now! Katia stepped up "I can only carry one person if something had happens..Katia? Can you teleport?" asking the other girl hoping she could "I am fine with going out by the way Kay" she said nodding at Kay.

Katia sighed, Kay's reasoning was indeed, reasonable... She felt she should keep arguing for she really wanted to kill the zombies. But she had to agree with Kay. Staying here for defense and taking care of Tessa would be a better job, considering there should be more in the cave than outside scouting. She resignedly nodded her head and crossed her arms. 'Okay, you have a point. Sorry for exploding.' she shrugged. She turned to Cyra. 'I can teleport, but it's not as refined as my other skills and I tend to end up in the wrong place. Not by miles, but by a few metres sometimes.

Cyra looked over and then back at Kay. "So..when do we set off?" she asked silently suddenly going quiet again. Looking a the ground and then back up at everyone she let out a sigh and crossed her arms."Oh okay." she said only hearing Katias question now "Sorry, just wanted to know that." she said nodding at Katia.

"Right. So, the plan. Me and Cyra go out. We go togeher, no splitting up. If the coast's clear, we go back and get you, if not, we get out of there as soon as possible. Steve can get us to a bathhouse and find us some clean clothes and if everything turns out alright we might have a chance to take a shower, find supplies and make ourselves comfortable somewhere safe before ngihtfall." she stated, more to herself than to the others, rifle still clutched in her hands.

With firm determination, she turned to face Cyra. Her eyes hardened, adrenaline coursing through her veins. "Whenever you'r ready."

Katia sighed, settling down onto the floor. Right, a boring stay on the cave floor for a few minutes, maybe an hour. Maybe a zombie or two would come by and they could kill it.

"Alright, so is that a 'yes'?" she asked with a light smile, referring to Cyra. The girl seemed shaken up, but she was of important use right now, so she was needed. "We'll be out for a few minutes, scouting is done quickly." she reassured Katia, handing her a pair of twin revolvers. The weapons were loaded and ready to shoot. "Make sure to releace the barrel before you pull the trigger or it'll explode in your hands." she warned, securing the backpack and drawing in a deep breath. "Ready?" she turned to Cyra.

Flashing a wide grin at Katia, Kay turned around, giving one firm nod to Cyra and then stepping out of the cave, looking back to check if the girl followed. The rain had ceased, only meek drops would touch her skin from time to time. Black eyes darted around warily as she had already crossed a fairly big distance, walking with a firm, fast pace among the trees. It seemed safe for now - there wasn't a soul in sight. She glanced sideways, checking on her left and right as well, before signalling for Cyra to follow.

Pausing for a bit, Kay looked back at the cave, checking on whetherr Katia and the others were safe. The cave was fairly dark, concealing that there was anyone inside. It seemed like it was empty. She smiled. They were safe.

"Agh! You guys can't leave me here!" Tessa scrambled around in the dirt and leaves before getting up.

"I'm an O.K fighter, even when recovering." She pleaded. "I can be really useful for finding food that's good to eat, since my dad used to bring me in the woods all the time." She reasoned stronger, gathering reserve. Tessa winced, remembering how she had to leave her Grandad and her dad. That all seemed like ages ago. She took a deep breath.

"I'm tougher than people like to believe." She finished, holding both her dirtied fists up for effect.

Steve was alarmed when Tessa got up rather nosily. When she held up her fists, Steve sighed. "Tessa, when we say you have to stay behind, it's not because you're weak. Heck, I got superstrength, and I got left behind. It's because we need someone to fall back on when we're done scouting. And to guard our stuff." He gently put his hand on her arm, motioning for her to sit back down. "Water?" A warm bottle was outstretched.

Imagine if we came back because it was too scary and full of zombies, and then our cave was full of zombies! That would be terrible! We have to guard the lair. And anyway, it's too late. Theyre gone Tess.' she rocked back and forth on the ground.

Tessa sighed. They did have a good point. She slumped against the cave wall defeatedly. Her headache went away but she was still sore.....and totally dirty.
