Stormpaw leaped into the air. "Wow!" he meowed. "I...I can't explain that!" he gazed around. "Windpaw! You..." he meowed. "I'm no leader, although I would like to, but you should be a warrior! Now! Windfire! Or Windflame...Windblaze!

Windpaw blushed (if cats can), and scuffed the ground with his now sooty paws. "Wow, Windpaw! That was weird! And really cool!" His brother Sunpaw praised him. Moonfrost agreed, and Mistfrost had muttered something to Possumheart and Graystorm, and the tom's eyes lit up, eying Windpaw with new respect.
Nightstar purred. "Well, I certainly think Windpaw will earn his warrior name." Nightstar agreed. "But like you, he still has four more moons of training to complete." She purred.

(I don't remember where I left off, I'll start hunting.)

Icestar sniffed the bramble hopefully, then sighed. The plants near the camp had been frost bitten, and prey was staying away, making RiverClan need to go farther from the camp to hunt. "See anything?" she called to her mate, Fireclaw.

Fireclaw shrugged hopelessly. "Not even a mouse tail yet, Ice. But soon, I think..." He scented the air quietly, hoping that he could find something- anything- to eat. To help RiverClan, to show that he deserved to be their deputy. Then he caught a scent of squirrel. "Squirrel ahead, in the trees," he reported. "I hope the patrol at the stream can find any fish or water voles, the twolegs were quite noisy and scared them off yesterday..."

Windpaw was extremely bored. "Moss..." she scoffed, then imitated the ungrateful elders. "'Moss? That's moss? That's more like twigs and thorns, young'n! Get me sme propor moss, apprentice!'" A few apprentices near her sniggered, but a warrior shushed them with an annoyed hiss.

(I hope that made up for my absence!)

Ripplepaw walked past the prime moss gathering place, and scented Windpaw. "She's probably back at camp" she thought. Ripplepaw continued carrying her carp and trout into camp, panting with the effort of carrying her catch all the way from the river. Pikepaw and Fuzzytail had sent her back to camp with Wildtalon, but the scatterbrained she-cat had chased after a vole and shrew at first scent. Ripplepaw closed her eyes and smiled.

Nightstar smiled. Stormpaw suddenly seemed to have good intentions... "Well", she meowed, "I suppose... you might be able to teach us how to counter attack FireClan's most dangerous moves?"
Berrypaw purred and nosed Stormpaw affectionately. "Looks like you're getting popular!" she joked, whiskers twitching.

"Alright. If you're comfortable in doing so, we can have training sessions with you, about three or four cats at a time. The rest will carry on with our duties, although we may have to pitch in a little more to make sure not one member of the Clan goes hungry each night." Nightstar raised her voice to make sure every cat had heard. Blackflash dipped his head. "I'll send out the patrols, then." He walked away, calling names as he went.
"If we could start now," Nightstar mewed, "I'd like to get a move on. Berrypaw and Pineleaf will come with us." She nodded at Stormpaw.

Nightstar lead the way through the forest to the mossy hollow. "Show us what to do." She told Stormpaw.

"Willowface! Daisyclaw's kits are coming!" Frogtail yowled. Willowface poked her head out of her den, and disappeared. "Willowface, hurry!" Frogtail shuffled his feet and wailed. An echoing shriek sounded from the nursery. Willowface leaped over Frogtail, and tore across the camp, Frogtail in her wake. She disappeared into the thorn thicket that hid the nursery.
"Can I see?" Blackbird's kit, Snowkit poked his head over the side of the nest. "No!" snapped his mother. "This is an intimate time for Daisyclaw.
Powerful ripples were passing over Daisyclaw's body. The tabby she-cat let out an eerie wail that sounded through the whole camp.
"It hurts sooo much!" Daisyclaw hissed through gritted teeth. Willowface placed a paw on Daisyclaw's belly, and almost immediately, Willowface could sense the first kit coming. 'It's a big one.' She thought. 'Get a move on, kit. Your mother needs to rest.'

"Okay. I'm doing Flaming Tornado. Try to dodge or stop me." Stormpaw meows, his whole body on fire. He runs towards Nightstar.

Nightstar narrowed her eyes, backing away from Stormpaw until she was in the shadow of a tree. She slipped into the shadows, coming out behind Stormpaw and landing a few blows on his flanks (claws sheathed) before nimbly twisting out of the way.

Shallowstar gathered together Rivertail and Frostfeather, her kits, and Smokefoot and his apprentice, Oakpaw.

Shallowstar lead her way to the Riverclan border. "Prey is up and running around her, with the good water source."
