Vex turned and bolted up the stairs. He diseappered into the darkness. Pressing his back against the wall, he steathily slid toward the room. The steel door was ajar. Someone else had been in the room.

The six cylinders stood in the center of the room. Each of the subjects floated in the liquid. Three boys, two girls. There were three earlier. Vex's mind raced, Choas had said it wasn't thier time yet.

A slender hand reached around Vex's neck. A girl stood dripping wet. Her dark eyes were so...familiar. She looked like...AIZEL!

'Hello, Vexing.' She crooned, toussling his hair.

Aizel raised an eyebrow as the boy rushed up the stairs. She glanced at his retreating form and stood up slowly, deciding to follow him. She headed up the stairs in a slower pace than his.
"Vex? What's wrong?" she asked, her feet padding on the stairs after him. "What's wrong?" she repeated again after she recieved no answer.

As she arrived at the upper floor she spotted Vex a little down the hallway and was about to run after him when she recognised the black haired girl that stood behind him.

It was her.

Vex backed up, away from the replica of Aizel. 'I'm not going to bite, Vexing. But I just might obliterate your insides.' She replied with a coy smile.
'A-a-a-a-a-a. BA-A-A-ABA-AA' Vex stuttered, feeling a warm sensation deep in the pit of his stomach. 'A-a-a-a Aizeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllll!' he screeched as he collapsed to the ground.

Darkness. And a warm tingle. That's all Vex felt.

Chaos saw vex fall and she was immeditly her huge rust colored wolf. She jumped on the replica Aizel clawing and biting her. "What did you do?" she growled

Aizel blinked, staring at herself.
"What are you?" she asked in a whisper.

Her eyes fell onto Vex's unmoving form and Larka that attacked her replica. In a matter of seconds Aizel had landed square on her double's back and pulled her head up by the hair roughtly. The fake clone screamed in pain, taking a hold of her hands and trying to pry them off herself.
"You'll pay!!!" the replica screeched, turning aroud suddenly and blastin Aizel off with a fairly large fireball.

Kenneth glared at "Aizel". "Don't. Ever. Touch. My friends." he said, trapping her in a purple orb that contained her and made her dissolve into nothing as small green orbs floated out of her and into his friends which were healed by the orbs. Kenneth wasn't touched by the orbs, but he didn't care. All that mattered were his friends. As the spell finally killed "Aizel", he fainted by the energy of the spell, falling unconsious on the hard ground.

@swimforlife That reminds me, I didn't ask for permission to kill the fake Vex too :/ Oops

@touch Well let's see... Vex and Aizel went in some building to save Chaos but they were met with a replica of Vex. After all the fighting, the real Vex went upstairs to find Chaos and the replica was fighting Kenneth and Aizel. He called Aizel a freak and she lashed out and murdered him. Vex and Chaos calmed Aizel down but then ?Vex remembered seeing some tubes with new PHers in them. He went upstairs again to find that one of the new PHers has escaped the tubes - and it is a replica of Aizel. She has fire so we'll have to wait and see what she will do to them =v=

Vex rolled around underneath a wave of darkness. The inky blackness of the water carried him into a cave. Tendrils of smoke tumbled from the lips of the cave. 'Where am I?' he asked aloud, rubbing his forehead with a webbed hand. He strode foward, eyes adjusting to the blackness. 'Hello...' he called, voice trailing off. Something about the place seemed...wrong.

Chaos looked around finding a window she jumped threw it. Landinging on her feet she took in a deep breath. She hated the smell of Labs. The same plasticy chemical smell that has hunted her nightmares for as long as she could remeber. She walked away a few feet and sat down. When ever something went wrong she normaly ran away. she had ben runing most her life. She put her elbows on her knees and her face in her hands. She Failed. She could not protect her best friend. As far as she knew he was dead, sort of. Tears fell from her face and onto the ground. She failed to protect the only person she could ever say she loved.

--This came to me in a dream, weird...--


Thick wisps of silver smoke incircled Vex's ankles. He strode forward, running his hand along the wall of the cave. A bright, pulsing light decended upon him. The yellow glow resembled light from a incandecent bulb. A young girl materilized, her strawberry blonde hair flowing behind her. Her bright, intelligent eyes bore into Vex's heart. It was her, the six year old, who was almost like a sister. A sister that he failed to save.

Hennie Penny. That's what they called her. 'Hello, Vexing.' She said, rather calmly. 'Hen Pen?' he asked, recalling her from his past. Her intelligence was heighten, more so than the other PHers. Lumik, the power to control light, was the power she pocessed. A soft beam radiated across her face.

'Look at me, Vexing,' She replied, eyes nearly welling up. 'I love you and wish you could stay, but its not your time. Chaos and Aizel need you. Leave, I know you didn;t leave me in my final minutesm but leave me now.' Vex reached his hand out, and clutched her tiny wrist. 'I can;t go. I'm not leaving you again.'

Aizel groaned as her back came in sharp contact with the opposite wall, bruising her skin badly.

"Aizel" laughed.
"Look at you" she snickered mockingly. "You're pathetic"

The replica emmited a soft hiss and pounced onto Aizel again. The two rolled over in the ground, attempting to outpower each other iwth the fire that they both possesed. Neither succeeded in defeating the other so they simply proceeded in fighting with brute force.

A punch landed on Aizel's face as the mirror image attacked. She recieved a kick to the ribs shortly after and a bad burn mark on her shoulder.

They were equal, there was no doubt.

Chaos stayed outside alone. She was not brave enough to face what ever was happening in there. She wanted to help but just sat there. What if Aizel and Vex both died? She stood up "No." she mumbled she would never let the just die. She looked up at the window she had jumped from. she Shifted into a Small humming bird and flew in the window. Once inside she shifted into her Abnormaly Large Rust colored wolf. She Staired daggers at the face Aizel, not daring to look toword Vex afrade of what she would see. She Steped forword and the growl in her througt got louder and louder.

A loud yelp escaped her lips as her hair was roughtly tugged backwards. She closed her eyes from the sharp pain and managed the pry the clutching hands off herself. A punch succeeded in stupefy her oppnent for a seond and she roughtle pushed her mirror image off, pouncing on her again and making numerous blows to her head.

Both were roaring with fury, screaming and cursing. They seemed like complete photocopies of each other, looking the same, acting the same, swearing almost in unision.

Hennie Penny grabbed Vex's collar and shoved him away. 'Go, live and save the rest of the subjects. Don't let them end up like me.' Vex watxhed, eyes wide, as the darkness began to fade, the girl's light forcing the black through the cracks in the cave.

'Nooooooooo!' Vex screeched as Hennie Penny faded from view.

Kenneth was on the ground and saw that Aizel was lying on the ground, "wrestling" with the other "Aizel". He suddenly got mad. All the things Aizel had done..... He got up, ran torward "Aizel", grabbed her and ran to the other side of the room and pinned her against the wall. He glowed with black flames which were whipping around him and his eyes glowed. He tightened his grip.

"Aizel" wheezed, trying to take a decent sip of air and struggled against Kenneth's grip.
Her arms lit up and she managed to clamp her heated palms around the boy's neck, clutching hard and attempting to strangle him to death.

Laying on the ground, Aizel was still in a daze. She glanced at Kenneth quickly, noticing the death grip that he and the replica had on each other.

Kenneth and "Aizel" were both wheezing for air. Suddenly, a gust of air blew by. Then he knew what to do. Why didn't he think of it? He grabbed "Aizel's" arms tighter and tried to throw her to the ground and managed to put her SOFTLY onto the ground. Suddemly, smoke and fire wrapped around his neck, suffocating him a lot. But he partly didn't care. He put his foot directly on "Aizel's" throat. Good thing he was strong with is feet. Just then did he notice the smoke and fire wrapped around his neck and he was suffocating. "No matter what, I'll miss you." he telepathically said to Aizel.

Chaos walked over to the real Aizel still in her wolf form. Aizel was hurt but Chaos could not remeber anything about medicen right now. She Lay down next to her a small whimper secaped her chest "Dont die." she whisperd "I cant let any more Hummingbirds die."

Chaos nooded and looked up. She saw Kenneth fighting the other Aizel. She Walked over, still a large rust colored wolf. She sat down next to Aizel where she lay. She shifted into a human and smiled. She wanted to just kill her here and now but she would let Kenneth do that, he seamed to have everything under control. She just sat there, legs crossed a few feet away from her. If she tryed to fight back agenst Kenneth she would step in and kill her, but for now she just waited not taking her eyes from Aizel's replica.

'Noooooooo!' the word were still singed into Vex's throat. Eyes fluttering open, he founh himself in one of the cylinders. The liquid was similar to water, but its consistancy was much thicker. Vex scrapped at the glass, open his mouth wide enough to scream.

Bubbles trickled around his head, fashioning a halo, no sound came out. 'Chaos! Aizel! Kenneth! Somebody!' He attempted to shout, but it was garbled. Muddling through his broken memories, he could not jude what was real or fantasy. Aizel and her repilca seemed to have ended thier fight. Kenneth was uncontious, and Chaos was tending to him.

A sharp yell reached her ears and Aizel lifted her head slightly in surprise. With the corner of her eyes, she spotted Vex who was trashing and yelling on the floor not far away from where she lay.

She weakly leaned on her elbows and managed to pull herself in a sitting position. Her body screamed for rest but she dragged herself towards Vex with all the strenght left.

She quickly glanced sidewys at Kenneth, spotting "Aizel" that lay under his feet and the prowling Chaos nearby. They had the situation under control so she continued shortly.

"Aizel" wheezed, out of breath, clawing at Kenneth's foot. She had ran out of oxygen and her flames had died out. Fire burned on oxygen fter all. No air, no fire.

Arms flailing, Vex watched as a foot came into view. From his position on the floor, he could not tell who it belonged to.

'Hennie Pennie! Nooooooo!' He scream, voice spiking up an octave. A warm hand touched his shoulder. The unexpectedness of the feeling caused Vex to inctincivly roll over. A pair of dark eyes looked down at him. The florcent light of the lamp, glinted off the whites of the eyes.

Colors smeared together, all Vex could focus on was the eyes. They were so familiar. Who did they belong to? Chaos's were grey-green, not her. Kenneth's were blue, not him. Aizel, Aizel had dark eyes.

'Aizel?' Vex stammered, sounding quite uninelligent. 'W-w-w-what happened?' Reaching a webbed hand up to her, he grasped from something tangeable.

A quick nod and Aizel came down on her knees next to Vex.
"Yes, it's Aizel, it's me. Calm down." she reassured, clutching his shoulder and took his head in her arms, supporting his trembling form and warming him up with heated palms.
"It's me" she cooed again, calming black eyes gently boring into his own.

She was surprised, very much at that. She'd never seen him so afraid and vulnerable before. He seemed like a helpless child, trembling in her arms.

Vex clung to Aizel, feeling empty and lost. Burring his head in her shoulder, he choked out a few word. 'Hennie Penny. I lost her. Again.' A salty tear trickled from his grey eyes. They already dull eyes, seemed to faded.

Inhaling sharply, he caught wind of a flowery scent. Something like lavender. Aizel and lavenders? That seemed unreal. Vex refused to look Aizel in the eyes. All that rendered in his mind was the little girls screams the day she died. Hennie was a sister to him, losing her was worse than losing Elena.

Sobs now sputtered through Vex's mouth. He was loud and unrestricted. Collapsing in on himself, he bawled. Eyes swollen and bloodshot, he knew what he had to do. Kill them. Every last one. The govenrnment.

Kenneth finally killed "Aizel". She wasn't breathing. He fell to the ground, unconsious and not moving. He didn't notice anything. No Aizel, Vex, or Chaos. He was lifeless. It was all blackand darkness overwhelmed him. All he could see... was himself. Flashbacks came into his mind. Meeting Aizel and Vex... "Life is a like a river.... You don't know where you end. You just know you're in for a wild ride." he thought.
