Katia dragged the lump of dead animal to the center, and started to hack away at it quite skilfully. Soon there was a few slices for everyone, and the leftovers were going to be rationed out.

She looked up at Kay. 'I'm Katia. Whats your name? And don't worry, I was a lucky one, Im not hurt.' she grinned.

Kay sighed and sat down beside Sky.
"My name's Kay"she said and rubbed her arm once again. The blood was already staining her sweatshirt and was beginning to show. She quickly stood up and walked away, kneeling by the pond and taking off her sweatshirt. The wound had gotten infected in the worst possible way. Hairs from the sweatshirt were stuck to it and she flinched as she begun cleaning it. She hid from the others. She didnt want them seeing her weak.
