EDIT: maybe they could sort of discover that there is extremely weird creatures on the island, remember jurassic park. Something like that. There can be giant carnivorus animals that chase us or something like that... and odd vine like plants that wrap around you and try to strangle you ... and those sort of things... ._.

Alex walked over.''Okay! What is up with this island!"' he shouted pointing at the now dead animal it's chest goruged in.It had a strange tail sort of like a crocodiles it had a feathery scaly kind of skin with a bird/reptile mouth.Its eyes had that cat look along with sharp claws.
