Alex was sitting in the woods. She howled to see if any werewolves were near by.

Ari's ear instantly perked up at the sound of another wolf's howling. He was surprised that there even was another werewolf in the forest.
He stood up and howled back in reply, throwing his muzzle up high.

Alex howled her response and ran toward the werewolf's howl.

Ari saw a glimpse of the other werewolf and he scampered away from his current place with Kay. He didn't want her to meet any other werewolves yet.

Kay was fast asleep on the ground, tired from all the commotion all day. Her ears picked up the howl but her mind had shut off completely, thoughts floating in the dream world.

Alex's green eyes and red streaks flashed in the moon light. She growled, "Friend or Foe?"

Ari met the other wolf with an equally menacing growl.
"That depends on who you are."
His eyes narrowed and he was careful not to show any sign of weakness.

"Ari werewolf," Ari growled back. He sat down and took in the sight of the female werewolf.

"I wasn't aware that this forests had other werewolves as well," he mused out loud.

Come to think of it I'll join in now.

Kay's ears picked up the quiet conversation between the wolves. She stood up, half asleep and sneaked over to one tree where she hid behind it, poking her head out enought so she could hear.

She had turned back to her human form and was now standing barefooted on the grass and without the usual cloak she wore.

Ari was startled at the sudden appearance of Kay, in human form. Last time he had check, she was sleeping beside him.
"Kay? Since when did you wake up?" He asked softly.

Ari looked Alex, puzzlement still clearly in his eyes. He shook his head.
"I can't remember a thing. When was the last time we saw each other?"

Ari moved protectively closer to Kay.
"She's my friend," he explained to Alex.

Clearly by habit Kay growled threateningly at the wolf, ready to fight but after a moment realised that she wasn't a vampire anymore. She leaned against a nearby tree and looked at the wolf and Ari questioningly, rubbing her sleepy eyes.
"Kay" she replied "You?"

Instantly, Ari blushed. Since when did he suddenly get so protective of Kay? Heck, when he first met her, he wanted to rip her throat out!

Kay frowned at the femme werewolf.
"Who is she?" she asked a little too harshly than she intended to. She felt jealousy drip from her voice and blushed furiously. She was NOT jealous of some random wolf that she met. She was NOT.

Kay eyed the femme wolf cautiously, approaching them and plopping down onto the ground next to Ari.
"So you've met?" she asked out of curiosity, looking between Ari and Alex.

Kay huffed, turning ten shades of red.
"I'm .. I'm not jealous!" she squeaked with embarrasment, crossing her hands in front of her chest.

Looking up at the werewolf KAy's eyes widened. She stood up, facing the girl.
"How did yoou know that?" she asked, knowing that she wouldn't get out of it this time.

"Because I live with a vampire," Alex said amused and saw the scratch, "Yep you are transforming." She said, "And dude your face is redder than my fur streaks."
