@wolfmilk ok but you know what I just realised.... Kay looks 18 and Ari looks 13 o.O

Kay sighed as she looked at her feet and then at Ari. She though for a while but then stood up straight and tall and gazed into his eyes.
"I want you to show me the werewolf life." she said to him. She knew she was asking a lot from the boy after she had attacked him and busted his jaw but she knew that she couldn't do this without any help.

"That's a lot to ask. But I guess I do owe you for turning you into a werewolf in the first place."

He stood up.

@wolfmilk I'll lower Kay's age to sixteen or fiteen and you can do the same with Ari so it's fair 😊

Kay lowered her head but followed him none the less.
"Where are you going?"came a little voice from the stairway. Mielle stood on the last step, staring at them confusedly. Kay walked over to her.
"I'm going to go with the nice mister, okay sweety? Why don't you go upstairs and finish that drawing you started yesterday? I'm going to be back at sundown okay?" she said and planted a kiss on Mielle's head.
"Okay bye." said the girl quietly and walked up the stairs.

Ari opened the door and let the sun's rays in for a moment. He waited for Kay to follow and said, "We'll start in the forest, nearby. That's were your werewolf instinct is strongest at."

Kay followed him but stopped in front of the doorstep and looked to the outside warily.

Slowly she extended a hand in the sunlight, checking whether it was safe. The sun didn't burn her skin, it even felt good.
She finally mustered her courage and stepped out into the open, looking up at the sunlight and closing her eyes.
The sunrays felt good on her skin. She extended her hands and smilled, enjoying the warth that engulfed her.
"It feels good." she said with a smile and then looked at Ari.

Ari watched Kay, cautiously. He knew that Kay would have some difficulty going out to the sun but he was glad that she had little hesitation.

"I know," he said grinning. "You've missed alot as a vampire."

Kay chuckled quietly.
"Yeah, I know! And now even the constant thirst for blood is gone!"she said happily. "Myabe being a werewolf isn't that bad after all." she added "I'm not burned by the sun, I don't have to kil people to feed and best of all I don't have to always stay in that hut..... you know what? I've never seen the village at daytime." she mumbled to Ari.

Ari's smile faltered.
"C'mon, let's go to the forest," he said, changing the subject.
Ari took hold of Kay's arm and ran towards the forest.
"You have loads to learn and better start, as soon as possible."

Kay smiled as they ran towards the forest, trying to keep up with Ari. She didn't have her superspeed anymore so the werewolf was running way faster than her.
"Where are you going to teach me first?" she asked with excitement.

"How to use your nose," Ari said seriously and laughed.

"The first to being a werewolf is how to use your sense of smell. It's really important when you're hunting," he explained.

Once they had reached the edge of the forest, he stopped and waited for Kay to catch up.
"Take a deep breath. What can you smell? Tell me," he instructed.

"You can close your eyes to focus on your sense of smell," Ari added.

Kay looked at him confused and uncomfortably shuffled a bit before closing her eyes and concentrating.
"I smell...... nothing..." said Kay after a minute of sniffing the air. She frowned at the ground, huffing quietly.

Ari raised an eyebrow.

"Really?"

On the contray to Kay, Ari could smell all sorts of things - birds, trees, plants, fruit...

"I think that maybe its because the transformation into a werewolf was not entirely complete yet. 'Cause I can smell a lot of things."

"Well, werewolves have better hearing than usual. Can you hear anything?" Ari asked. "I mean, what is the faintest sound you can hear?"

Ari twitched his ears. He could hear birds chirping in the distance and the faint sound of rushing water.

Kay concentrated again.She listened carefully to the world around her not hearing anything than the usual singing birds. The sound of splashing water suddenly reached her ears. The waterfall must have been near because to her keen hearing the sound seemed very loud. After a moment she frowned again.
"Just a waterfall nearby. Nothing else." she sighed.

Ari's eyebrow shot up to his fringe.

"*Just* a waterfall nearby?" He repeated, stunned.

He could only hear a faint sound of water, let alone identify it as a waterfall. Ari rubbed his ears, maybe something was blocking them. Nope, the sound of water was still very faint.

"As far as I know, the closest the waterfall must be at least a kilometre from here!" He exclaimed.

Kay stared at him dumbfounded.
"You mean that you can't hear it well? ..... I hear it like it's a few meters away....." a smile garced her face.
"WHOAH! That means that I have super hearing!" excalimed Kay, jumping like a little excited child. She laughed happily and looked at Ari. "This is amazing. Can I sort of try the sniffing thing again?" she asked in excitement.

She smiled again and closed her eyes in concentration. She took a deep breath.
"I smell..... diaises, .... some..roses, a squirrel and a canary bird....... and some... crimson berrie bushes." she barely managed to keep her voice calm from all her excitement. She opened her eyes and laughed happily.

"I have super smell.. ing or something like that." she chuckled and looked at the setting sun. Her face gained a serious expression.
"I think I have to go back to Mielle."

*I think i'll make another werewolf character... you okay with that? He'll be the big bad wolf XD

The sun set, much to Sylvias disbelief. It had been a long day. She tore off her cape and headed outside, muttering to herself. She cursed herself for not getting enough sleep, but she was hungry. She was walking stealthily through the forest when she stumbled upon the werewolf she saw earlier and a smaller girl. She jumped up, hiding in thr trees, using the leaves and branches as cover. They wouldn't be as tasty as humans, but they would suffice.

Suddenly aware that the night was creping onto them, Ari quickly pulled Kay back as she was going to leave.

"No! You can't go back to Mielle!" He cried out. "Tonight is full moon - which means that you will transform! And there is no way that I will let you go anywhere close to Mielle while you're a werewolf."

Suddenly, Sylvia pounced on the werewolf, landing square on his back. She pushed him to the floor, using her abnormal strength and opened her mouth, baring her sharp fangs. Sylvia poked his neck, decieing on where to bite him. "You will pay for making me suffer in the sunlight.", she hissed.

Ari jumped up with fright at the vampire's sudden appearance but quickly recovered. Instantly, he transformed and twisted about, shaking the vampire off himself.

"I never attacked you! The other werewolf did," he snarled at it.

He was aware of Kay nearby but he couldn't say anything out loud, she might be in danger too if the vampire knew that she was now a werewolf.

Kay stumbled back in surprise as the vampire attacked Ari. Her killing instinct acted up and she threw herself on the vampire, knocking her on the ground.

She crouched next to Ari.
"You okay?" she asked in concern, surprising both herself and him.

Did she care about the werewolf? She'd have time to ponder on that later.

"Why do you interfere?", Sylvia snarled, realizing she was no longer a vampire. This gave her another reason to attack her. Sylvia got up and lunged at the girl, opening her mouth to bite her neck.

Kay let out a blood curdling roar and lunged at the vampire too, dodging the sharp fangs and succeeding in clawing her shoulder lightly. As she jumped away, landing a few feet from the vamp she looked in shock at her newly grown clawed fingers. They were long and sharp, deadly when used right.

She looked up in fright to the full moon that now gleamed over the forest.

Ari marvelled at Kay's rapid reaction to the attack. This girl was full of surprises.

He shouted to Kay, "Follow me, there's a field full of garlic somewhere in the forest. The vampire wouldn't dare attack us there. Use your nose to find it!"

Ari turned away and dashed in the direction of the garlic bush.
