"Werewolves and vampires are enemies, how can you do that?" He demanded.

Turning even redder, Kay looked at Alex.
"Who do you live with ? And how do you manage to live together?" she asked amused by the story.

She was quite surprised by Ari's remark and quikly looked at the ground, frowning.

"Well lets think.... ah yes he is my brother! And I also have a human twin brother. I don't play by those stupid rules why do we have to fight?" Alex said as she turned back into a wolf and her fur bristled.

Kay raised her head up again and looked Alex in the eyes.
"I agree. This is stupid. We don't even remember how this dumb war started." she said looking at Ari sadly.

Ari scratched his ear with his hind leg.

"I confess I'm guilty of being part of this war but I just think that it's in our nature to be enemies with vampires."

KAy frowned at him.
"And why is that?" she fumed, looking at him with angry eyes.

She didn't want to confess that she felt hurt by the werewolf's remarks. She didn't see him as an enemy anymore. She didn't see werewolves as a threat anymore either. His words made her doubt.

"Joseph? He and his friend Sylvia had fainted in front of the mansion today and I took care of them. They're jackasses." she commented rudely, huffing.

Ari notice Kay's sudden change of attitude with him and he quickly said, "Look here. Every night since I was first bitten, I saw nothing but vampires and werewolves fighting each other. Until very recently when I met Mielle, I thought that all vampires were the same - enemies of werewolves."

Ari carefully chose his words, ensuring that he didn't make this situation any worse.

"I don't want this war to continue any more than you do but as of right now, unless someone makes it universal that vampires and werewolves aren't enemies, then I'm afraid that I can't do anything about it."

Kay whipped her head around, looking at Ari with furious eyes.
"If someone made it universal that you should kill vampires would you have murdered Mielle, or would you have finished me off for that matter?"she asked him straight off.

Ari stood up, startled at Kay's outburst.

"Vampires have attacked me and other werewolves! I can't just walk away from that," Ari retorted.

"Being a werewolf as all the reason vampires need to murder someone." Ari said, "Most of them anyway."

Ari's blue eyes glowed with anger. He dug his claws into the ground.

"Look at it from all perspectives, Kay."

Kay growled at him angrily, her inky eyes managing to darken even more.
"I've been fending for myself and taking care of my sister since I was 12 and I've witnessed my family getting murdered by people. You gave so much to learn about hurt." she hissed at him "Werewolves and vampires have been fighting for years, yes, I know that but I ask you WHY? What is the reason of this slaughter when our kins don't even remember why they're fighting? Why can't we end this? And if vamps and werewolves remain enemies then should I feel obliged to attack my sister, to kill her because of what you did?" she finished with a low hiss, poison dripping from her tone.

"Ari I will look at it from my werewolf point of view. I have been attacked several times by vampires but I don't hold a grudge because that is what is wrong with werewolves we hold stupid grudges and can't learn to forgive and forget. Well maybe we should because I have several human and vampire friends who are great and say that they only do that stuff like attacking us because we won't forgive and forget." Alex said.

Ari's ears drooped, his tail between his legs in submission. Obviously he could the other's point of views now. He hoped he hadn't made a complete enemy of Kay. He had just recently won her trust and was not keen on getting that diminished.

"If that is what you say... It'll be hard for me but I'll try to see if I could let go my grudges... after all I have had them for about half my life."

As quickly as it had appeared, Kay's anger vanished ino thin air. Her frown melted into an apologetic smile and she approached Ari in her human form, petting his head lovingly.
"Sorry if I was harsh, it's just that we both have grudges against the other's kin. You don't like vamps because they hurt you and I don't like werewolves because they hurt me and my sister." she said and sat down next to him, ruffling his fur "That doesn't mean that we're enemies right? Can't we forget our grudges for a while? We can be friends." she added hopefully, looking at the wolf.

Aizel smiled happily, jumping up and looked at Alex.
"Send regards to your brother" she said with a chuckle, her smile melting instantly as she remembered something.
"Mielle!" she sprinted into the forest towards the old hut, turning into a wolf for more speed. She had completely forgotten about her little sister. What kind of a role model was she for Mielle?

"Darn it" she muttered under her breath, running between the bushes and trees, approaching the house.

Ari watched the fading figure of Kay. He sighed but didn't follow her. Turning back to Alex, he yawned and said, "I think that I have had enough excitement for one night. I'm gonna sleep now."

With that last comment, he stumbled back to the garlic garden and collapsed on to the plants, dreaming of war-free days in the future.

Alex shrugged and hopped down and ran off into the woods howling to see if she could find another werewolf.


Sirius came across a three werewolves. One was a female and soon ran away, another was his sister obliviously she was probably the only wolf with forest green eyes and red fur streaks and pitch black fur, the last was a male. His sister ran off howling and he stepped on a leaf hopping the male hadn't heard him.
