Mielle's birght orange eyes peered at Sirius. She frowned. He was definitelly a vampire. She could sense it.
"Why are you here 'human'?" she asked impassionatelly. She was very witty for an 8 year old. She wasn't fooled easily.

Sirius rolled his eyes, "Well it looks like I was sitting in a tree happily." He wasn't intimidated by the vampire.

Mielle squinted her eyes. The boy looked quite normal but the smell of vampire clung to him.
"Haven't you heard of the scary vampires and werewolves that walk this forest?" she asked him mockingly.

Mielle looked at him in surprise.
"And you get along with each other? A human, a werewolf and a vampire? No fights? No quarrels? " she had always been told about the vicious bloodbaths between werewolves and vampires. Never had she though that there could be such a thing as peace between the three races.

Suddenly, he noticed that Millie's scent was slightly fainter than it was before. Ari's heart skipped a beat and he gripped Kay's hand.

"Where's Millie?" He asked quickly.

Kay jumped up suddenly and sniffed the air. She failed to detect her sister's smell.
"God! She's not here!" She spared no time and sraight forward darted trhough the door.

Mielle raised an eyebrow.
"Perfect team? But you're so different!" she exclaimed and started walking towards him. He smellt of human, vampire and werewolf all at once. Her nose had never been so confused.

Sirius shook his head, "We really aren't that different. Me and my sister are practically the same person. We all work well together. My brother keeps is same from Vampires, my sister Werewolves, and me humans."

Ari followed his nose towards Mielle. He would have preferred to have shifted into a wolf because it felt more natural tracking but he had no intention to scare the child.

He could sense Mielle and it seemed that she had wandered off of her own free will since he couldn't detect any other scents nearby.

"C'mon, Kay, this way," Ari said as he sprinted in the direction of Mielle.

Kay nodded, sprinting after Ari. She mentally cursed. How could she have missed that? Now Mielle was out at dark and was somewhere all alone and probably scared to death.

"And you were born that way? Human, vampire and werewolf? Or were they just bitten and turned?"

"It is complicated. You see when our parents divorced my dad married another woman that just happened to be a vampire. She turned Joseph when he was about 1-2. Then we killed her, and about a year later me and Alex were playing outside when a werewolf spotted us he came and bit Alex. I got away in time, Alex was about 1-2 so we have pretty much been this way our whole life." Sirius explained.

Ari found Mielle and saw to his astonishment that she was talking to a person.

He couldn't smell any werewolves or vampires nearby unless... this person was a human. Not only that, but this human had some lingering smell of vampire and werewolf. Had he been around them? If so, how'd he manage to get out alive?

Frowning, Mielle sat down on a rock.
"I know how that feels. My sister was turned into a werewolf today." she mumbled quietly, eye glinting with tears "I don't know what will happen now." she whispered.

Catching up with Ari, Kay found herself near a lake. And right in front of her, stood Melle, chatting casually with a boy. She ran to her and hugged her.
"WHAT were you thinking?" she shouted, worried and hugged her again. "I was worried sick about you"

Sirius raised an eyebrow as the girl appeared, "Is this the sister that was just turned into a werewolf?" He asked and saw another werewolf. He modded casually at the boy werewolf.

Ari's heart stopped again as he heard Mielle's last words. She knew? She knew!

Normally, he would be warmed by the sight of Kay's embrace but his insides were frozen. What would she think now?

He released some of his shock in a low growl, directed at the newcomer.

For a second, Ari was surprised to see Sirius's lack of reaction towards him and remembered Alex, the werewolf who lived with a human and vampire. Sirius must be the human, he concluded.

But he still wasn't too sure. "You're related to Alex, right?" He said cautiously.

"What were you thinking?" she repeated the question.

Mielle glanced at her impassionatelly.
"I though you'd hate me since you're a werewolf now. Werewolves and vampires hate each other, remember?" she said sadly and looked at the ground.

"Not all werewolves and vampires hate each other." He stated gently. "Sirius and his siblings are living proof of that, right?"

"Ari's right. We don't hate each other." she reassured the small girl, tears glinting in her eyes.

Mielle nodded and burried her head in Kay's chest. "We're still sisters" she stated.

Kay nodded.
"Still sisters" she agreed, looking at Ari and smiling gently at him. "Thank you"

"You're all nice." she said, glancing at Alex and Ari too. "I haven't seen werewolves this nice. Are you brother and sister?" she asked. The resemblance between Sirius and Alex was striking.

"You're so funny" she said, reaching out and tugging a strand of Alex's hair. "Who's your brother?" she asked the boy absent mindedly.
