Joseph smiled and sat on a tree stump, "Wimp."

Alex smiled, "Wow is Joseph the only normal vampire nowadays?"

Sirius laughed and climbed up the tree and sat next Alex.

Ari shifted back into a wolf and scampered to Kay's little cottage. He was curious of what she was doing and how Mielle was.

Running back home in her wolf form, Kay reached the door and morphed back into a human again before walking in.
"Mielle?" she called in the empty living room and then ran to the stairs. Climbing up tothe second floor, she peeked inside the girl's room to find her fast asleep in her bed. She was clutching a colourful draawng in her hand. There was a small sign on the bottom of the paper, scribbled in her childish handwriting. "For Kay"

Kay sighed, sadly closing the door and walking downstairs again. She plopped down on one of the couches and closed her eyes.
'What kind of a sister am I?' she asked herself, putting her face in her hands.

"A sister with an irremovable curse." Ari answered as he stepped into the house. "You didn't lock the door." He added.

He put a comforting hand onto Kay's shoulder and sat down beside her. "Are you going to tell her? About the werewolf bite and everything?"

Kay looked at him.
"Yes. I'll have to do that sooner or later because she'll sense all the changes in me." she sighed.
"Sorry for earlier. I just got angry and people know what happens when I get angry. I open my stupid mouth and insult people. So I'm sorry." she mumbled.

She looked at him. Strange. Why hadn't she noticed that glint in his eyes before. The bright comforing smile. She found herself noticing it just now. Strange.

Ari waved her apology aside.
"Don't worry about it. I was asking for it." He gave a soft chuckle. "I'm glad I'm not on your bad side, that's all.

He lifted his hand and gave Kay's black hair a playful flick. Ari took a sniff of it. Vampire smell mixed with werewolf smell. So weird, he thought.

"Ack!" Aizel squeaked as the black strand of hair fell on her forehead. She blew it away. "Dork" she smirked at him and ruffled his hair playfully. "Are you challenging me?" she asked with a chuckle.

She was never the one to back down from a dare and even the slightest challenge would excite her.

"Hey stop it!" Ari cried out indignantly and swatted Kay's hand. He tousled up the girl's hair in retaliation.

"What challenge?" Ari then asked innocently, giving her his best puppy dog stare.

Growling playfully, Kay smirked and poked him hard in the ribs. She chuckled at Ari's puppy eyes. "Nice try, but I still plan on tickling you. Are you ticklish?" she questioned and poked him in the stomach. "I think you are" she smirked.

Ari's face contorted to mock-horror as Kay started tickling him. His arms and legs thrashed about wildly.

"No, no! Please don't torture me!" He giggled. Ari was extremely ticklish, but he would never admit it.

Kay laughed.
"You're so ticklish!" she exclaimed. She continued his torture and then poked him hard in the ribs again. She leaned back, laughing.
"If I'd known you were this ticklish, I would've used it to my advantage the first time we met.!" she chuckled and looked at Kauto.

He then bent over and tickled Kay back.

Ari grinned with triumph. He stopped tickling Kay and laid back on the sofa.

"Ah, I've never had this much fun before," The werewolf said wistfully.

"What do you mean?" Kay asked confused, still laughing from the tickle fight. She frowned. "You've never had fun? Where did you live?" she asked. The laugher in her voice had been replaced by worry. "Don't you have a family?" she asked.

"Sure I'd had fun. I just didn't have... friends." Ari said quietly.

"I was raised in an orphanage. My parents had died, apparently." Ari fumbled with the hem of his shirt, feeling very awkward. "I didn't have friends in the orphanage."

"I was bitten in the orphanage and I ran away once I had realised that I was a werewolf. I didn't want to hurt the other children."

The mood of the house changed completely.

"I came across vampires and that was how I learnt about the war," He finished.

"Look, I'm sorry about bringing that up. I feel your pain though. My parents were killed by humans. I still have Mielle and she brings me happiness. She's all I have and I don't know what I 'd if she left." she said and frowned slightly. "But we're friends right? Good ones." she asked hopedfully.

"Of course, we're friends," Ari reassured Kay. A warm feeling spread through himself at being called a friend. I could get used to this, he mused.

"I'm sorry about your parents. You are lucky to have Mielle though." He said longingly.

"Mielle reminds me of myself when I was younger. So carefree and innocent of the war."

"She knows about the war. She just doesn't like it. She asks me why they fight and frankly I don't know what to tell her. That's why I lashed out at you earlier." she explained and then draped a carefree arm around his shoulder.

Sirius, Alex, and Joseph sat in their house that they had "borrowed" from the lady that used to live here whom had been died awhile ago. They were BORED.

"In a little cottage down the street," Ari said idly. He leant to Kay's touch and sighed wistfully.

"There's nothing much to it. The cottage looks abandoned and spooky on the outside to deter humans. But on the inside, it's clean. Empty though - I don't stay there much."

Slowly, Mielle opened her bright orange eyes and peered out the window near her bed. She had waited for her soster and now that Kay was chatting with the nice boy downstairs, she decided to go out. She grabbed one of the vines that had grown near the window and swung herself down to the ground. She walked towards the forest.

"This small hut doesn't look so good either but at least we have a roof above our heads.... You live all alone don't you?" she saked and looked in Ari's eyes.

Her weak sense of smell prevented her from sniffing the Vampire but her mind reading picked up someone's thoughts from the other side of the lake. Depsite being only 8 years old, she boldly stood up and looked warily at the shadowed figure.
"Who are you?" she asked carefully.

Sirius could see the signs that she was a vampire but he hopped from his tree, "Sirius a human," he said cautiously.
