Prepaid Cave Cash Cards

Prepaid Cave Cash card would allow players to purchase CC without risking credit card theft. I believe more people would by CC thus boosting Eggcave's profits and net worth.
Anyone else agree?

Yes! So parents dont have to worry about giving there credit card number for an online website

I doubt eggcave is big enough for that... Even on Neopets getting something like that took forever.

I like the thought of this, but thinking realistically, Egg Cave might be just too small for this. Plus if they did sell them, it might get too expensive for Ian to start it up. Another thing is it's not as widespread as Neopets and Neopet Cash stuffs isn't even located in that many stores, I'd say.

But I suggest using PayPal in the meantime. Your personal info is kept safe & I don't think you have to pay anything...

Pretty much if you don't want to use a CC then you can get a GreenDot card. Prepaid card that is backed by Paypal. $4.95 loading fee. Since it's backed by paypal they will accept while other Prepaid cards they may take it one time and not another time. Instead of asking me for the info you can just look it up 😉

Very easy to set up a Paypal account buy the card and add funds to it. There is a funding limit and stuff but yeah read up about it.

This is a good idea cause I asked my mom for CC and that I would give her the money that she spent back she said no because she didn't want to give any website her credit card

All kinds of stores sell them. I get mine from CVS or the nearby Supermarket near my campus. Vanilla Visa Gift cards are ones I have used. I also used one recently called Gift Card. Forgot if it had any other special name but that's all the card itself says lol

No. You use regular cash to buy the card at the store. It acts like a debit card online. Once you use it you cannot refill it. most have a place online that lets you check how much money you have left on the card. Make sure to activate it online to make online purchases or it won't work. Each card comes with instructions on how to use it.

Just to give an official status on Prepaid Cave Cash Cards, Ian currently does not have plans on implementing this feature.

Egg Cave is always increasing in members, but there isn't enough widespread popularity nor the funds to warrant such an endeavor successfully. This, along with other business mumbo-jumbo, is why you probably aren't going to see Cave Cash Cards at your local Wal-Mart at least any time soon. It's a very nice but implausible suggestion.

Fortunately, as @gvantsa indicated, there are prepaid cards available for purchase that work for a multitude of sites (even PayPal).
