Oh, dull. Yes, you're right, but I've already gone through the exciting part of dreaming it up. >.<

Vendor-
Name: Simple David
Gender: Male
Age: 29
Appearance: Black hair under his ironclad helmet, and a short, curly beard on his chin and cheeks. David's striking hazelnut eyes, speckled with blue and green, clash with his almost hideously simple features. His torso was dressed in dark green soft leather, and his feet were bare. His hands were wide but not long. He hates being teased about his short height and his slimming fox's furcoat.
Personality: Burly and quiet, David usually tells stories to the homeless kids on the streets.
Other: Loves to carve things out of wood, has a small selection of wood jewelry and beautiful canes.

Creature-
Name: 'Birdy' (given from David)
Gender: Female
Age: 300+ years
Species: Phoenix
Appearance: Flaming red-orange tail and back, a deep blue-green throat and belly, as well as purple feet.
Personality: Arrogant and vivacious, things do not go well when 'Birdy' doesn't get enough attention.
Asking price: Since 'Birdy' was hard to catch and take care of, he's only asking 130 gold nuggets and 4 bronze.
Abilities: Squawk and prune itself.
Other: Believed to heal emotional wounds, David is convinced 'Birdy' likes to inflict physical wounds more then heal emotional wounds. He has lots of sores on his bare arm from her pecking him as he feeds her.

Lol! that was a lot of fun to write 😊

@hay7199 Yep, that's fine. Just remember to put spaces after your commas, periods, and question marks. And exclamation points. You know what I mean. X3

@skylark I imagine it was! X3 Birdy. That's adorable. Once she gets rid of Felix, I'll have my girl mosey on down to check out some of his canes, haha. A witch can never have too many canes and staffs.

If anybody wants to start, they may! Otherwise, I'll get around to it.

@silver_winged xD Awesome! She can order a custom one, too. (;

Inhaling deeply, David had a smile on his face even though he was feeding Birdy. "Drat 'u and yous peckish beak!" He exclaimed as she pecked him bleeding again. "You's be a hell a mate for 'nybody!" He fixed her door carefully closed when he was finished; he would hate to have to catch her again. Anyways, with Birdy done until her walk, he had all the time in the world. The air was clear and bright, the roads bustling and the wind whistling through the multiple chimneys. David knew today was going to be a good day, even though he was already cleaning his sores.

@skylark Fabulous. |D

"Sunbird!" the young woman bellowed from her stand. "Good luck, better fortune! Your pockets will never be empty!" She chanted these words like a summoning incantation, overpronouncing each syllable in the way one speaks a foreign language.

"Sunbird!" the bird chirped at a passerby. "Good luck!" He lifted his crest, bobbing merrily up and down upon his perch. He didn't seem to mind viewing these people from behind bars; either that, the young woman thought bitterly to herself, or he was too dull to care. "You're a pet now," she reminded him coldly, in a tone that was too low for the passersby to hear.

"I'm a pet now!" he chirruped, delighting in her sudden frown. He tweeted a few short notes before repeating the statement once more: "I'm a pet now! A Sunbird! Good luck!"

"You're not wishing them good luck," the young woman insisted. The morning breeze tugged at her hair, the ends of which were ragged. It seemed as though she had hacked it off with a dull instrument and left it to its own devices. "You are good luck."

"Wishing you good luck!" he declared cheekily.

Alex was looking around the market with a swift determination. She was hoping to find a good magical creature that was a good hunter and bodyguard. So far she was out of luck but she refused to give up. She stopped at a woman's stand, she looked at the Sunbird that she was selling. She shook her head, no this wasn't the right creature for her, he seemed more like a house pet than a hunter. Of course looks could be deceiving but she had the feeling that no this wasn't the right magical creature and walked away.

Ashey stood at the stall, she watched the people pass by. There was a woman selling a Sunbird and a man selling a Phenoix. Ashley smiled as a kid past and yelled out "Mommy mommy! I want that Unicorn!"He said and his mother replyed "No, Amdis, we cant have a unicorn!"She said.Ashley snickered as the women said that.

Tiny pranced around the stall, she held her head high. She guessed she was sapossed to be good to get out. So she acted sweet and nice. But she knew that once she got her chance she would run away. Far away.

Casually, Marigold strolled around the market, eyeing a few of the wares with a meticulous eye. Most of these were products said to increase beauty greatly, but she had already tried almost all of them. Gossip was, that the right mythical creature could increase one's beauty, and, of course, she was willing to try it. After all, she had to live up to the expectation of perfect woman, didn't she? Of course, the perfect woman was beautiful! Marigold already had silky locks of golden hair, fair, unmarked skin, and vividly blue eyes, but, she desired more. Constantly, her parents had unceremoniously announced that she had not lived up to the image of perfect woman yet, and, she had to succeed.

As the mythical creatures began to appear, none of them really managed to catch her eye. All of them looked plain, and she was just simply waiting for one to catch her eye. Just as she was considering turning around and going for one of the beauty products, something caught her eye. A Sunbird, repeating 'Good luck!'. That was probably something that could increase her beauty, was it?

Tiny pranced around the stall. People began to gather around, a little boy fell into the stall and began to cry because there was a scratch on his nee. His mother was too afraid to help. Tiny pranced up on him and layed her golden horn on his nee and it healed instantly. The boy climbed out of the stall and ran to his mother. They left, the mother trying to suthe the boy. Tiny began to prance around the stall again.

Ashley walked over in frount of the stall and began to shout; "80 GOLD PEICES FOR THE UNICORN!!!" She shouted to the ever growning crowd. Alot of people left hearing the price for it. So Ashley continued to shout out the price.

@hay7199 i shall outbid you now. XD

Kerain saw the unicorn, and instantly wanted it. "90 gold pieces for the unicorn. I can go much higher." He said, being complelty truthful. He could go much higher, as he had plenty of money, and too little to use it on.

Kerain looked at ashley. "Well, would you like me to go higher, or no?" he said with a cheeky grin. He was in a playful mood today, which was good.

Alice was just siting on a chair, next to the cage were Roya was in. She asked the people who passed if they wanted to buy the Gryphon, but most would decline.

Roya was lying down, in her cage, grumpy.

Tiny moved her hooves around in the dirt. It read; TINY in big letters. She reared up and pranced around the stall happily.

Ashley took the money and put it in a pouch on her side. She watched the women talk to the Unicorn.

@celeste I'm glad you're glad. X3

Sarraya let out a disgruntled sigh, pressing her hands against her narrow hips. "A rare and exotic creature from the far West, the Sunbird will bring you good luck and good fortune wherever you go!" she declared, more eager than ever to be rid of her colorful pest.

The nature witch's stand was a plain one. She had purchased a wooden crate from the docks, which she had then hauled over (not without considerable trouble.) Upon it were two things only. The first was a slim metal birdcage that held the little nuisance she'd named Felix. The second was a ceramic pot filled with dirt. A small green sprout poked a few centimeters out of the dirt, displaying its two sprightly seed-leaves proudly. The little plant was the reason the witch had bothered to travel so far. It was a rare specimen of some kind of bean, whose bizarre life energy was a topic of much discussion. She was unashamed to admit that she much preferred the sprout to the bird, and this troubled her slightly. "Simply thirty gold," she added, "but he'll pay for himself before long!"

Noticing the golden shimmer of a passing woman's hair, the Sunbird sung a long, high note before cocking his head to the side. "Good luck!" he chirped to her, righting himself and shifting two steps down his perch.

@silver_winged

It seemed an interesting stand, thus, Marigold skipped over, carefully examining the wares. There was the Sunbird which had caught her attention, and another plant. Gasping, Marigold recognised it. Apparently, the life energy of it was of much speculation, and it would not have not have been of much interest to her, lest the fact it was extremely rare. The rest of the table lay bare.

The price of the Sunbird was 30 gold, which, honestly, didn't particularly bother her, but the tone of the saleswoman's voice brought suspicions. Why was there the practically forced enthusiasm, which had the undertone of doubt, lurking about? As though she wanted to get rid of it?

At the end of the day, though, Marigold's vanity got the better of her, and, delicately, she pried open her purse, fished out some coins, and presented them on the stand.

"I'll take it, but I won't pay more than 25 gold, thanks."

Alex heard a woman selling a Gryphon and walked swiftly over to her. She looked at the Gryphon with inspecting eyes, "Is he fast? Does he hunt? And what is his attitude?" Were the three questions that she asked the woman. She adored Gryphons but they never seemed to be sold here when she was around so of course she jumped at the chance.

@christmas123 Nope, you're not too late. Although I'm sensing some problems with your form. First, you need to play a vendor if you're going to play a creature, and that particular creature seems like a Mary Sue . . .

@celeste
Sarraya's expression altered dramatically as the girl approached the stand. Her eyes grew wide and her lips parted slightly. Overall she appeared quite surprised, although truly she was feeling pleased. Part of her had expected to spend the rest of the day in the crowded, malodorous marketplace. Still, part of her found it necessary to procure the highest possible profit. The time she had wasted was not without price.

"You're unlikely to see another one of these all year," the witch said simply. Noticing the intense expression she was wearing, she consciously softened her eyes, though found it near impossible to smile. "Twenty-eight gold," she asserted, tipping her chin slightly in a gesture toward the girl's purse.

Felix stared curiously out of his cage, leaning forward so that his beak stuck through the gap. "Hello," he greeted warmly. The bird's voice was sunny, though rich in tone. His golden breast feathers glinted in the mid-morning sun.

@silver_winged

Thoughtfully, Marigold mulled over this - certainly, 28 gold was a deal, and perhaps she had been trying to strike a hard bargain. Many of the beauty products she had been purchasing were well over 30 gold, and, considering this bird would probably last longer, why bother? Money wasn't a problem for her, it was as common as mud was to the poor. There was an almost distasteful edge to the woman's voice and expression - or was it merely her imagination?

Eventually, the warm, sweet tones of the bird's voice won her over. Hastily, she examined the bird once more, checking for any signs of disease, before coming to the conclusion that it may be merely harrisome. Marigold didn't really mind that - her beauty problems were much more bothersome than the bird could ever be. Lowering her eyes slightly, she replied.

"Very well. I'll take it."

Alex looked up at the woman with the Gryphon and asked again, "Does he hunt? And what is his attitude toward humans?" She said and stared at the Gryphon, it was handsome to her and looked healthy. She liked it's build and hopped that it would be able to keep of with her when she hunted. She really wanted to stick her hand in the cage bit didn't want to be bit. Fighting the urge she stood up and waited for the woman to answer.

"First, it's a girl. I just caught it. I saw it hunt a few days ago in the wild, and it was pretty quick. For the moment, she is ok towards humans. She seems to appreciate young children." Alice said, showing the Gryphon.

Rola looked up, her eyes glittering. Was she finally going to be out of this stupid cage?

Alex nodded and knew this is the creature she needed. She looked at the woman with determined eyes. She pulled out a large sack of gold and silver. "Now the million dollar question: How much do you want for her?" She said ready to gamble if needed. She wanted the Gryphon but she didn't show it, she made her face totally blank.

Rola listened to their conversation and hoped that the nice man would buy her. And she would promise herself to be loyal to him.

@chapus2009 Alex is a girl

Alex shook her head. She wanted the Gryphon but was going to haggle, "I won't pay a piece over thirty gold and five silver." She said now swinging the money bag from hand to hand. She acted casual and gave her a smile. She was ready to get the creature down to her price and was going to no matter what it took. She gazed around and saw no other Gryphons and had to get this one.
