@whispers - I try to keep a positive attitude on EC, and I do like each creature because each creature is the product of someone's imagination, so I hate to admit that... I sort of agree with you. :S

I don't have a lot of room to talk, though, see as I have no ideas of my own to submit. And I guess there are only so many combinations of shapes and colors and such. I think we need more aliens! And I really liked @blackrose_chan's idea with the vortex (I think it was hers, at least... >.> )

With that said, I still get excited when a new creature is released, regardless of what it looks like. 😋

I would like to see some reptile or bug creatures 😃! Like I have this idea for a really cool spider critter but my scanner is busted ☹️

Hey, I did my part.

I made two aliens (and they were cute so they would appeal), a starfish, a seal, a kangaroo, a wreath/sheap, a scarecrow, a pig, a sloth, an Angelfish, and an accordion cat. Only the corsal was chosen. I think he needs to think of how to make it cute/cool, cute/original, cool/original. Cool and cute sell.

I'm some what making a creature right now 😱 it's a combination between a dinosaur, Jester, bat/rat, and scorpion 😊 I like it xD well not as much 😱 I'll try to make something abstract... or try to make a toaster and put eyes on it xD

people say we are missing a certain animal like elephant or horse or that we have to many winged creatures or too many feline creatures.

what we need shouldn't be a animal 😱 like the flover(even though it wasn't a favorite) we need something similar to that I guess... I like horror and so I tend to draw goat creatures or something with a skull A LOT. so :/ it's hard for me to draw something that is G rated D: BUT something that I like :I

If you have noticed we need something exotic. like something mythical(and not something like a dragon or winged horse) but something like the chimera which I know was already made...

I got nothing else but I do have a few I'm considering for Halloween 😋 two actually❤️

@whispers personally I have to agree, we have way to many dragons and wingged creatures. I think eggcave could use a frog creature idea. I have created a creature idea that's a frog with a heart shaped tail and cat like arms;)

My suggestions are pretty normal but I did suggest a skeletal dog and a cyborg dog... neither have been chosen so far, but I do have an idea that I'm working on and it is not a cat, dog, or bird and it does not have wings 😉

Yeah, I must agree with this. I have always wanted to post a creature based from a scarecrow . . .

But then I ran out of ideas and only came up with the egg.

I feel awesome for making the egg though.

But it's just and egg. ☹️

That idea has been stuck in my head for like months now. TT.TT


And everyday, I think hard to the point of pooing just to come up with an awesome creature

And now my sister's pressuring me to make something like a butterfly-dog O.O

I kind of have to agree with you... Recently most of the creatures are related to cats/dogs and it becomes pretty... mainstream. It just seems like the more people create cats/dogs creatures because other people are doing it, and to be honest I think people just like the creatures for their cuteness, not creativity. I, in fact made a whole notebook full of Eggcave Creature Suggestions when I first saw the site but now I'm afraid that it will get shunned for being too bizarre. I only had the courage to show one and only one gave a comment. So generally, I think people are intimidated with all the dogs and cats that they are afraid to step outside of the box.

I know, actually I think it's more of @Ian. (sorry dude)
But I think he's picking the creatures more on cuteness then creativity. The way he's picking is making me want to quit sometimes. Like, @qesque does a good job with the art, but the ideas are just cliche .A.

Well technically, Ian's only doing his job to make the people happy, and right now, people seem to go crazy over cats and dogs.

And if you want to see one of my suggestions, it's "Owl/Carpet Creature Suggestion". And before you say so, I'm not good with colors, and I mostly focus on the last stage so usually there's no hatched stage. *face palm*

And, yeah, sometimes I wanted to quit from the mainstream and lack of creativity of the creatures, hopefully that won't happen.

Actually, I already did a long term haitus since Eggcave just got less creative (Which, by the way, is the reason I joined) and it became vulnerable to hackers and mean people.

So sorry about the two creatures only having one form. This is my last year of college and all of my finals are this week, so Ian gave me a bit of a break. I'll be picking up the three forms per CS creature again once summer starts up. =(

Also, some suggestions would be tasmanian tiger, wombat, dragonfly, imp, capybara, jellyfish.

Or try adding different features to things (other than wings) like stitched edges, gills, jewelry, lights, electrical plugs. XD

Birds & dragons can come in many designs & forms & colors. I suppose that can be one reason. And some other creatures, they could be a little harder to make look very appealing.

in my opinion, i think its because

-most of the people in eggcave likes fluffy and cute stuff.
(which means its all due to its demand)

-most of the creature like that are the tradeble ones.
some of the creatures that are not bird, fox and sorts, people offer 500CC or less which makes people feel its not worthy buying them for more then 500CC even though they are CCLE



..why don't you do the creature suggestion and explain why you suggested them? if many people likes it, Ian might approve yours 😸
