Oh .A. I thought it would be too late to join because it's like the Hunger Games - and people die. And it's 43 pages along XD

A pang of pain nesstled in her head and her eyes immediatelly snapped open. The headache was unbearable and she squinted her eyes in pain, rubbing her temples. She found herself in a pool of her own blood but surprisingly, the wound didn't hurt as much as the headache. She looked around, trying to determine where she was.

Lupa looked down at the girl. "You're awake." She commented bleakly. Her eyes had lost spirit. She took out a piece of bread and handed it to Aizel.

In the end, Phoebe had managed to convince Kenny that four against two was not a favorable fight. They'd gone back into the forest, managed to catch a rabbit, and had their first hot meal of the games. The next morning, Phoebe almost felt fresh.

"How many do you think are left?" she asked Kenny, dividing out some of the dry berries as a quick breakfast. She intended to get moving early that morning, find somewhere safe to camp, and rest until the night. Night was her time to hunt.

Glacning at the girl, Aizel accepted the food and viciously ate it. Until now she hadn't realised how hungry she was. Her stomach rumbled with hunger.
"Thanks" she smiled weakly at the girl and looked down from the tree. "Why... did you save me?" she gave the girl a quizzical look.

"The meadow nearby is full of hearbs, but I fear that some of them might be poisonous. You never know what surprise the island has for you..." she smiled sarcastically. "Yeah, I can walk. Should we go now?"

"I had an axe, but ... I don't know where it is." she hopped down after Lupa and winced unnoticeable as pressure was put onto her ribs. Quickly regaining her stone cold expression, she followed the girl. "And... Dania was with me a while ago... but I don't know where she went."

She knitted her eyebrows in worry. "Maybe she got attacked. Do you think she's in trouble?"

A sigh of relief escaped her lips. "She did have water powers, so I guess she might've survived."

She glanced at the claw mark on her chest. It had healed a little. She guessed it was because of her fire powers. The heat had helped melt the raw flesh together again and therefore, close the wound. "It's much better. I'm fine." she flashe d a thankful smile at Lupa. "Where d you think the others might be. I heard there was a big alliance."

She was beginning to win back her lost strength. "I don't think we should look for the big alliance, because they have so many people. They could kill us instantly." She said, a little worried. What if they were watching her every move, wqiting for an opening to strike out?

Friends are the ones who are able to stick a knife at your back because they are the only ones who you trust enought to turn your back to.

Her arms and scraped leg still felt numb but the pain in her chest had lessened to a slight unnoticeable sting so she wasn't worried.
"Maybe we should search for my axe first. I really need a weapon, otherwise I'm worthless" she muttered.

Rushing inbetween the trees, Aizel tried to remember where her axe was. "Hmm, I'm not sure... maybe it was..."

She suddenly spotted a metallic shine in the nearby bushes and hurried over, rummagin through the leaves. She pulled out a weapon but not an axe... It was a long iron sword.
"Well... this should do a better job, don't ya think" she chuckled at Lupa.

"You know, I never did learn your name..." she gave the girl a quzzical look.

A chuckle escaped her lips.
"Yeah, I know. Would ya like to take it? I'm not good with swords anyway" she smiled sheepishly, handing the sword over to Lupa. She turned away on her heels and trotted over to the nearby lake where a lone axe lay. "Found it!" she chirped from the lake side.

A sudden noise echoed in the forest- human speech. Someone was coming their way. Aizel ran back to Lupa as fast as possible and managed to shield herself from sight in the nearby bushes.

Lupa held her breath as she hid. Her dagger was drawn but she remained in the shade of the bush. 'If only Nyx was here... She could hide in the shadows and kill whoever was out there fast.' she thought. 'No. Nyx is gone, and you have to survive without her.' she shook out her thoughts.
