Alex heard a crackle in the bushes, she turned suddenly and let loose an arrow into the bushes. There was a groan and Alex walked over and looked into the bushes. Lying face up and almost dead was Skylar. Alex sighed and walked away as she turned the cannon sounded. She grabbed the arrow and walked back to the others.

Joseph followed his sister and sighed as he though, When did we become killers?"

It was a girl. The misterious sttraner appeared to be a lonesome young lady who happened to be prancing in this area. She had a scared expression and walked warily around. She looked quite normal...

Aizel couldn't help but smirk at that. She was alone and defenseless, looking around frantically for someone, anyone who could protect her(at least that's what Azel guessed she was doing). She made a small movement to approach the girl and then quickly pounced onto her. "Gotcha" she hissed in victory.

Aizel pinned down the girl. Lupa jumped out of the bushes and picked up her dagger. She closed her eyes and stabbed the girl. She kept slamming her dagger down, over and over again until the cannon sounded. Lala was dead.

As she let go of the girl's limp arms, Aizel noticed that she and Lupa were both elbow deep in her blood. With disust, she tried to squeeze the liqiud from her clothes and then glanced at Lupa.
"I think we better burn the body. If others come, they might try to track us down." she said impassionatelly.

Lupa bent down and threw up. "Sorry... That was the first time I ever killed someone. I'm not that good with fighting up close. I prefer the bow and arrow. A swift, clean kill." She said sheepishly. "You're right. We should burn her. Ummm... Can you carry her? Sorry." She apologized.

"No problem" Aizel smiled reassuringly and hauled the girl up as if she was a mere feather. Lala's hair fell in front of her eyes as she hung limply from Aizel's shoulder.
"That's good for you, ...not killing people. I mean. It's better that way." she said absent mindedly, glancing up at the sky.

A laugh escapes her lips despite the situation.
"You're talking to a afire elemental" she chuckled, setting the girl down next to a tree. Her shirt and shoulders were stained with blood as the girl's blood had trickled over them.
"I think we should burn her here. It's a secluded place" she advised and stood back.

Closing her eyes, she concentrated. A large tuff of fire appeared into her hand and she hauled the fireball to the tree trunk. The bark lit aflame and soon egulfed the girl's form that lay leaned onto the tree.

Phoebe nodded absentmindedly, chewing the berries slowly with her back teeth. She wasn't at all tasting them. She wasn't thinking much anything at all at that moment.

A stray noise caught her attention, and in a second, Phoebe was on her feet. She crept silently through the trees, peering forward intently to find the source of the noise. At this point in the games, whatever came near them was definitely of interest.

The source of the noise was a dark-haired girl who was carefully picking her way through the trees. She had a backpack that looked as if it had something in it, and that was what caused Phoebe to make up her mind so quickly.

Phoebe's sound-muting powers were astounding. The girl would have simply been going along when a hand appeared out of nowhere and clamped itself over her mouth. Too quickly for her to react other than to try and scream, another hand would appear, flashing silver with the dagger held in it. Cold steel would meet her throat, and then--

Phoebe stepped back quickly, removing her hands from the girl as blood spurted from her neck. Overhead, a cannon sounded. Working quickly, Phoebe removed the backpack and tore it open. There was a small amount of food, along with a bottle of water purifier. She placed the items into her own pack before looking over her shoulder for Kenny. He was bound to have followed by now.

"Food," Phoebe replied, looking back ahead once she had caught sight of Kenny. "Enough for a day of full meals for the both of us. And some water purifier, which will be good once the canteens run out." With a satisfying "zzzppp" she closed her own backpack and then swung it over her shoulder.

Looking up, Phoebe spotted a thin pillar of smoke rising above the treeline. It appeared to be mostly grey, though parts of it were greasy black. She wrinkled her nose. "Better check it out," she murmured, setting off quickly through the trees. Her dagger had dripped fresh red splotches onto her boots.
