"You didn't... do that outfit justice!" My stylist, Maia the Yuki, gave me a big hug and told me: "Tommorow is training. I'm not sure if you're getting more sponsers for the preformance... or less. Don't mess up." she kissed me on the cheek like Capitol Arkians do.

Alex arrived in the station and she looked at her stylist who just sighed, "Honey, you did ok but you are going to have to do better then that if you want to survive."

I rolled my eyes when he spoke, "Fine."

He continued, "Training is tomorrow, if you have any skill maybe there is hope."

All I do is nod and then I fell silent, holding back several rude comments.

Dashing to the bathroom, I use the super cold water, getting rid of my excessive makeup and the dye on my wings. "Ready for anything." I breathe, then flying to my room thingy where the boy still looks at me questionably.

Just as the opening ceremony was about to end, I saw the crying tribute from earlier throw her gold bracelet at me. It was aimed at my face, and I caught it in one fluid motion. I made sure that the tribute saw it all happen, and when the chariot came to a halt, I carefully stepped down.

My stylists came to meet me, congratulating me and giving me several pieces of advice. I dropped the gold bracelet on the ground, and used my hind foot to ground it into the ground so it was covered in dirt and other disgusting things.

"Training is tommorow!"

"Alright." I responded with a clever smirk. As the Stylists left, I headed to my room to prepare for tommorow.

Alex looked around at all the other tributes and she sighed, the competition would be steep and she wondered which of the twenty-four would survive. Alex finally said bye to her stylist and quickly headed for her room. She finally arrived at her room and she headed for the bathroom and cleaned off all the makeup and stuff on her. Once she was back to herself she sighed and walked out of the bathroom. Then she began to prepare for the next morning in an unexcited manner.

My Stylist dresses me up to start training. I take a bath, and try all of the concoctions in there.
It takes an hour to try them all.
After I'm finished, the stylists swoop down on me and dress me.
I put on my district token and they lead me to the training center, 15 minutes early.
I walk into the room to see my training instructor, a tasma.
He explains the rules of the training center thoroughly, not leaving out any details.
I'm distracted though, by all the weapons.
I guess I should try and master one, if I want to make it home alive.
I stare at the axes, swords, bow and arrows, and other foreign weapons I can't Identify.
I'm released, and I head towards the knot tying station, afraid of the horrifying looking weapons.

I scooped the bracelet up in her paw, withought protest. The once bright gold was now dull from being crushed on the linoleum. I handed it to the stylist. "Tell your tribute I'm deeply sorry. I was going to give it back to her, but it fell and I accidentally stepped on it."

(The next morning.)

I groggily woke up to find myself being flocked by stylists. I took a quick shower, on behalf of one of the stylists. When I was done, they curled and brushed my snowy white fur as I put on my district token.

Once finished, I headed towards the training center.

Alex woke up to her stylist standing over her looking very annoyed. He shook his head, "You are probably going to be late, you need to make a good first impression and this is not how you do so." He walked out of her room and she got out of her bed and headed for the bathroom, taking her time in the shower. When Alex's stylists were satisfied with her appreance she took her token and put it around her neck. They then told her where the training room was and she headed towards it. It took her several minutes, she wasn't veryflood with directions, but she finally found the training room. She walked in while a tasma, probably the trainer, explained everything. Alex listened to every detail carefully, staying in the back away from the others since she was here to train, not make friends.

Maia sent me to the training room, holding the token in her paws. The Tasma trainer, who's name I think was Thesaura. I folded my wings and looked over at a Draqua who was intently listening. "Yes, madam." I nodded.

Kneve woke up the next morning with Her stylist hanging over her. She gave her some food, and then kicked me out to go to the training. She bursted in and waited. She relised she was late. Really late

The knot station is held by Nym. She seems happy, and shows my a few basic knots.
I show her some of my skills I have.
I know how to tie a decent snare for catching food during harvest time, and I'm pretty good at making baskets, because of the fruit I pick back at home.
It makes me yearn to be back in district eleven.


The nym makes me practice on a new knot till I get it completely right.
The knot I learn catches pray by the neck, out of the reach of other predictors.
"My names Moona, whats your name?" The nym says
The question startles me, and I reply, "It's Twitch."
"It was nice to have to as my student. Best of luck in the games." Moona tells me with a smile.
I can't help but smiling back.
For some reason she makes me feel easy, and doesn't have the strange capitol accent.
"Thank you." I say almost inaudible, and I walk to another station.

Alex sighed and headed towards the camouflage station. She had always been good at blending in so she thought it would be good to start with that. She looked at the Trenka, who had been teaching all about camouflage, and he began to teach her all about the different kinds of camouflage. Alex was soon messing around with the paints and she was able to make herself blend in with the leaves. The Trenka nodded in approval, "Good job, you have done well."

I slowly dragged my feet to the camouflage station. Another person was there but I didn't feel like moving.
I sighed.
I've been working in the trees my entire life. In a few minutes I paint myself into the trees.
The alternating colors of light green and dark suggest that sunlight is passing through leaves.
I feel it's pretty decent and I feel as if I am good to move on.

I move on to the fire starting station. The teacher is an arname, which is pretty ironic.
She teaches me how to start a fire out of wood, both dry and damp.
It takes me about five minutes to start a fire, but it goes out. I feel it's necessary to master this, and I try again.
After about 5 more minutes I got a blazing fire going and the arname melts. (jkjk XD)

Archery... yay. I grabbed a metalic bow, and loosen it slightly. Aiming for the target, it zoomed right over the Wiset's head, hitting the edge of the target. The Wiset looked slightly angry. "Sorry." I said, walking over to the knife-sharpening station. I sharpened a blade using a random tree, the edge of a pond-type thing, and a bush.

Alex then headed over towards the knot station since she had never been paticuarly good with snares. Alex had also chosen this station since nobody was over there. She looked at the Nym and the Nym began to teach her some basic snares that could help her. Alex managed to make a simple snare but when she tried to make a harder snare she messed up. Alex soon became frustrated with snares and headed over towards the station that helped her identify different types of plants.

I headed over towards the camoflauge station, using some rubbing leaves to blend in with a shrub. Then I flew over to the weightlifting station, where an annoyed Pyraguin was lifting a spiked weight. I shyly picked up a normal fifty pound weight and began lifting and dropping it. I suppose I was good at it.

Koen let out a sigh, scanning the different training tables they had set up. His thought back to the carriage ride. His had gotten almost zero attention, but the Chimera guessed his glaring at the audience hadn't exactly helped anything either.
In fact, Treve had taken him aside after the ride and told him that he should better clean up his act if he wanted to survive.
'Treve, the old Barlog.' Koen thought to himself rather sourly.
Koen closed his eyes once more, then, with one last sigh, walked over to the camouflage table, and decided that if he WAS going to compete, he should at least ATTEMPT to learn some new, helpful skills.

(Uhh, anyone wanna chat him the well-built Chimera from district nine? .3. )

Sylvia headed towards the spear section, keeping her head held high. Her air of confidence was overwhelming. (haha 😋) She picked up a sharp looking spear and tossed it at one of the targets. It hit the middle of the red dot, and she smirked to herself. "Simple."

Alex learned about the different kinds of berries and how to tell if they're poisoness or not. When she finally decided that she had done pretty well at identifing them without help she headed towards the weapons. She decided to give spear a shot and she walked over and picked up a spear. She through it at the target but it hit one of the outer edges of the target.
