Mother's Day! <3

Mother's Day is this coming Sunday (just two days away, guys! 😱) I was just wondering what sweet ideas you've all come up with to show appreciation to our dearest mommies! 😸

If you haven't decided yet, or it completely slipped your mind, then maybe you can ideas from other Egg Cavers!

Personally, I'm waking my mother with breakfast-in-bed pancakes and a fruit salad (yum!). I'll be playing her favorite songs of the gooey romantic variety 😉 I've bought her flowers. ❤️ And in the evening, she'll relax while I cook her chicken breast tenderloins with mixed peas & corn, and broccoli & cauliflower. I've also drawn up a cute little comic detailing all the qualities I love about her.

I'm going all-out this year. I love my mother and can't express my appreciation enough. ❤️

So, everyone, what're your plans? How will you show your gratitude to that lovely woman in our life?

I was going to take my Mom to a Chiense Food restraunt, because she likes the Sushi there. XD
But she still has to drive. XD I can totally pay for the food though. XD XD XD

My girls usually celebrate Mother's Day with me on the Saturday before (So tomorrow). They made me a beauty shop appointment yesterday because they new I Was really wanting to get something done with my hair.
They are going to clean out my car for me 😊 -- It really needs it.

Then Later in the day there is a gun show (Hubby will enjoy that also) in town and I am not sure of any of you watch the show Swamp People or not but Elizabeth from the show is going to be there and they are taking me to go meet her. 😊 I am very excited
"Shoot it Elizabeth, shoot it." - you would have had to watch the show to get that- sorry - I love Troy he is my favorite.

On Sunday the girls and I always go with my Mother to visit my Grandmother - so three generations of Moms all together. I am getting her some perfume that she likes, flowers, and while visiting at Grandmother's house I am going to fix Dinner for us all.

I think it is going to be a wonderful weekend.
I hope everyone else has a great weekend as well.

@Asi Haha, parents always adore handmade things that come from the heart. I'm sure she'll absolutely love it!

@Taffy789 I understand completely! It's so hard to plan things when you don't have your own license/permit/car. But that idea still works right around it. I'm sure she'll love the sushi so much, she won't mind driving. 😊

@Wispa That sounds amazing! I hope you have fun at the Gun Show! I imagine that Elizabeth is somewhat of a gun-shootin' celebrity. It sounds so exciting to meet someone like that!
Also, I'm positive your Grandma will love all the family-company that day. It sounds awesome and I hope your weekend turns out spectacular!

@Akira There's a Hunger Games cookbook! Cool!! That sounds DELICIOUS. Not to mention something she could use every day 😊

@Siri Don't be ridiculous! You don't need money to have fun and show appreciation! I'm positive your mother will enjoy it immensely! After all, I'm sure your painting will be worth a thousand words. 😉

@Dawnfur Moms love things that come from the heart. It takes much more time an effort to make a heartfelt card instead of one you bought for a few dollars.

I cut out two hearts, put stuffing in them and sowed them together! ^o^ I made two! 😉

I also got her a cute origami folded box with a nice bracelet inside!

My third is some flowers! 😉 Yesh, they are so pretty! OuO

Then I'm going to spend a day with my Mom, doing whatever she wants, and taking her to a restaurant. xD

I planted some pink petunias for her and made her a poem on a card.

Also, tonight we bought her some charms that she likes and we have everything set out on the table for her. ❤️

We're going out to eat with the grandparents tomorrow, too. ^FT^

My mom plans to sleep during Mother's Day. She's working the night shift at a hospital, and I dunno if she's taking tomorrow off.

If she is, my dad and I are gonna plan dinner at a buffet place? 😋

I personally got her Sweet Pea Hand Cream. XD

And a square of paper that says 'Happy Mother's Day'.

Like 269 days of the year she's in a bad mood so yeah. XP
