Hail woke up to some weird noise. A cawing screech. Like some crow and falcon had decided to start crying at the exact same time. She looked around. There is was agin, there seemed to be two... She swept her eyes around. She shifted her talons along the branch, but it irritated her.
Okay fine! She thought. She stretched her wings and flew off in the direction of them. The darkness was terrible, she could barely see anything! She almost flew straight over it. What the heck?
She spiraled down to the forest floor.
She was shocked to see two small chicks, newly hatched, by the looks of it. All alone. Maybe their mother was somewhere else. She didn't want to be discovered... But still, she couldn't just leave them.
Hail flew up a nearby tree and decided to wait. If nobody had come by morning, she'd have to do something.

Jenny flew back to her nest and preened her feathers. She wondered if her chicks would both die...?. " Well it was for the good of my kind" She told herself settleing down to sleep.

The two chicks had huddled close together and where still screeching there heads off.

Hail sat there for a while, still listening to them scream. Maybe letting them scream while she tried to sleep wasn't a good idea. There was no way she could rest. At all. Unless they would shut up.
How to make them be quiet anyway? Aargh. She might do something, but still, their mother might get mad. She stared through the ark leaves and knew it was going to be a sleepless night.

"Wow, lucky." Yuka said.

Kaya then swooped down to a caw noise. It was a strange sound to hear. But the SUN was already showing it's bright rays, so the many birds if Darkus were going back to their nests. Mostly ravens and crows stayed up and some owls, but just for a daytime snack.

They finally fell silent. Good! Hail napped for an hour, but woke up to the morning. It was still dark. Must be Darkus. Dang. She looked below. What bird left their chicks on the ground? And what were they? Black... Somethings. She didn't know, but they seemed like bird of prey. She sighed, and set out to a river to fish, but out in her own territory of Predarus.
She watched the water shimmer for a while, then-there! She dove and came up with a shining fish. She killed it, then lay it by the shore, and waited for another one. It was quick. She ate half of one quickly, then picked them both up and flew back to the chicks.
They were still there, screaming again. She dropped the fish next to them and flew down.

Shade shielded her eyes from the sun, they were sitting on the branch outside of their hollow.
"Guess we better get some sleep, don't want to stay up too late" she said

Kaya saw two chicks on the floor. But she never saw something like those things. They were black like crows and ravens, but they looked like prey birds.... WAIT. What were PREY birds doing here?!? They were usually in Predarus! Not in Darkus! As she was going to approach, she saw another bird fly by and let fish next to them. Was it the mother?

Joseph was flying through Darkus when he notice a couple of chicks, they looked like........BIRDS OF PREY!!!

Cinder flew out of the tree and dipped down to catch a mouse that was scuttling past.
