I'm truly sorry for my disappearance and lack of communication but my computer went down and had to be fixed. I missed you all so very, very much.

I'm working on the membership banners and updating the website. I have made the corrections but it will be August that a full month of activities will happen. The Newsletter will be posted on the website with some perks as can't fully do some things in the forum post. I hope you like the July issue.

Welcome to July 2012 BOAF Club Newsletter!!

We have lots of goodies to keep you busy and happy before the month is over. 😊😊

The first thing to feature is a triple contest so read below and away we go......

Calling all club artists to come out and join a little contest from July 21st to 28th. Yes, you heard me right! 😃

There will be three categories in this contest and three winners which will be picked by tikimaki, duchess and hay7199. Each will select their choice of each category and then together we all will make the final pick of winners on July 31st.

1st Category is "A Motto For The Club"
It has to fit the theme well and be one sentence like the one I currently have posted and on the graphic at the website. Entries start tomorrow so let us get those creative thoughts going. hehehe

2nd Category is "A Writing Contest"
What do you think of the birds at Egg Cave or your cove filled with birds? What birds do you like best and why? Be creative and playful with the writing and your entry could win a great prize!

2nd Category is "A Drawing Contest"
Get those brushes, oil, paint and canvas ready to show off your style in drawing a bird or bird like creature. This is for fun purposes but if the moderators love the entries we will encourage you to submit it for creature suggestion here at Egg Cave.

Here are 3 activities for you and they will run from July 21 thru July 31. 😸 Prizes will be awarded no later than August 3rd for each activity.

- 1st activity -

Welcome 5 new members to Egg Cave!
This can be done by visiting the "Introductions" section of the Forum. All members that participate must POST here after completing the activity. August 1st those who did do the activity will be awarded 25K EC.

- 2nd activity -

Post your favorite summer recipe.
What cool dish do you love to eat during the season?
Those who participate will get a LE that is either from the past or present in the cave.

- 3rd activity -

Unscramble the sentence below for 100 CSC!
The first three posters to unscramble correctly win.
You must PM the answer to @byfelisa and @duchess.

I don't cook/do anything in the kitchen rarely so I can't do number 2 😋 To keep cool I usually eat bomb pops and stay in my air conditioned room 😊

Your link awaits you, I didn't have time to prepare with @duchess, but we will get together for next newsletter. 😃 I had to condense the news since the month was shorter and plus can save the rest for August since it is another long month.

@byfelisa: My mom was suppose to make these kool-aid cherry pops, but never got the time too 😋 They taste sooo good xD. I do have a easy-to-make meal I guess 😋

It consists of tomatoes(cut small), tomato juice, onion(cut small), parsley flakes(I use mine from one of those container things and cost around 1$) and garlic powder/salt(with these two, add whatever amount you like till it tastes good). Its really healthy and to me tastes good 😊
