@paranoiac I believe that College can be hard if u make it hard. I took easy classes, so I can't really say if college is hard or not, yet, but I'd say it's definitely different than MS and HS. You really have to try in those classes :T I don't really like trying đ" but I'm slowly starting to đ¸

@lululore IN which collage are you going to?I want to go in art academy, but my mum says you can't live with art as a job.

@paranoiac I haven't really decided yet. I want Berkeley for their Psychology programs, but it's really hard to get in right off the bat from HS to college. I'm gonna take the JC to UC route. Easier, but longer to graduate :TI thought of pursuing art as my career, but I felt that I wasn't good enough. I agree with ur mom about the job part, but if u love art, I'd suggest u make it a minor in, and major in a different field. That's just my thoughts tho. What do u like drawing, if u don't mind me asking đ¸

I saw the trailer and it looks amazing, awesome cast đ¸College is probably going to be the bane of my existence, at least the application part. I don't have a career aspiration in mind. Honestly I never knew what I was going to do when I grow up and now college is getting nearer and nearer âšī¸Hopefully I can figure it out, if not I can always get a job first and save up money for tuition. My family really wants me to go to university, but they also want me to learn something that I'm passionate about. Very grateful for that â¤ī¸Speaking of college, is anyone looking forward to Pixar's Monsters University? My friends and I are totally going to watch it in theatres. @paranoiac art portfolios are usually developed throughout high school but it is a great idea to begin thinking about this early. Good for you!Mainly, if you create something that you like very much, take a nice photo of it, and keep that artwork safe. Write the date on it too. All of your art work that you would like to use towards college should be kept track of because art schools want you to send in an art portfolio. Sometimes the real art, sometimes pictures of the real art.If you have a specific subject that interests you then try looking at high schools that can guide you in that direction. Some high schools provide clubs and classes that provide you with art materials and look nice on a transcript or resume for your future.Are you planning on going to college in the US?-The college I went to used to be a full tuition school but they have since changed that rule, people now have to pay. I am sad because it was one of the only places that all students could get free school in america. It is called The Cooper Union.

(Horror film) Have you seen it?~~~~~~~~~~@paranoiac Buds into conversation!Well you could try really hard and try to get a scholar, you should try volunteering at art centers too. Also start building up your art portfolio ASAP and as much as possible. If you're in High school you should make sure to take the courses you need. đI live in Canada so I guess things work a little differently over here

@chowchow2012 Thank you. I'll ask around.I play clarinet and in my music school there are a lot of leaflets about art school, courses and centers. I'll try to find something there CXCan you give me advice what should I put into my portfolio?And I was reading what should I have to get in. It says I should have act (nude drawings CX) and that on testing I'll be doing one on a live model ._. That scares me CXAnd I should have around 5 statues. Form what should I make them? D:EDIT; @box Haven't seen your post. I'll start with making one this summer đI don't have money to go in US. My family isn't well standing, but I would love to study art there âšī¸ As far as I understood, in Croatia you must pay testing and you have a chance on getting a scholarship. I'll probably work when I start high school so I'll save some money ^-^
