Yay! Glad to hear that 😃 I'm bored... wanna make a story? xD
Ok, make a story about why parrots have such colorful feathers 😋

Once upon a time, parrots were gray and colorless. Well, one day a parrot crashed into a batch of blueberries and she turned blue! The parrot crossly shaked away the blueberry stain, and soon it began to rain. After the rain ended, a rainbow came out, and the parrot was inspired by it xD So it started crashing into fruit baskets on purpose, until her feathers consisted of a large array of colors. And so, that was how a parrots are so colorful.

LOL, my story was so horrible xD What's your version? 😋

No for real.

Here's mine:

Once upon the time parrots had only gray and colorless feathers. They weren't thinking about it a lot and they live they monotone lives.
But there was one little parrot which was thinking a lot about unimportant stuffs as, for example, colors.
-What if there are other colors than gray, white and black?-He was asking him self.
And he decided to invent colors. From his colorful heart he pulled yellow and painted the sun; he took light blue and colored the sky; he used dark blue for deep oceans. At the end he had only few drops of colors left. He gifted it to his dear friends which colored their feathers.
But missfortunatly there was no colors left to color him self. That is why some parrots still have white and gray feathers.

Bad try at a Firefly xD

Here it is *-*

Once upon the time fireflies were sleeping at night and playing during the daytime. They were just a regular bugs.
In their flock (we say flock for bugs? 😸) was one small firefly which was in love with the stars. She was staying late up at night watching them shine.
All of her friends weren't so interested in stars as she.
And then, one beautiful, cloudless night she tough;
"Stars are so pretty with their lights. I wanna touch them, reach them. And I promise, I'll do it now. Nothing can stop me!" And she spread her little wings and flied, flied until she reached the one little, little star. Star; when felt firefly's touch; transfer her shine to little firefly.
Firefly was a shamed and she tough that others will laugh at her when they see her, but still she came back to her home.

In the morning all of her friends saw her shining and they wanted to shine too. They waited night, until stars shined, and then spread their wings and flied high, to the stars.

After that every single firefly had her shine and little firefly was happy as one firefly can be c:

That story was awesome! 😊 When I started reading it, I felt like I stepped through a random portal and emerged into the Kingdom of Fireflies, and the angle was directed at the little firefly who wanted to touch the star. I love your interpretation of the fireflies' glowing bodies 😸 Seriously, if I was a teacher, i'd give you A+ ^^

I am! And in the sprit of Thanksgiving...

I AM THANKFUL FOR CONTEST ENTRY:
This year I have so much to be thankful about. I have to thank my wonderful friends and teachers for being so kind and understanding. Most of all, I want to thank my family. My dad, even though he lives in another city, ALWAYS takes the time to help me whenever I need it. I want to thank him for all of our phone conversations (because I know it can be hard to put up with me when I don't understand something). He has been so supportive and he is always there when I need him. Next, I have to thank my mom. I don't know what I would do without her (literally!). She makes every meal, does all the laundry, cleans the house, drives us around, works at her office, and she still finds time to talk to me and comfort me. I appreciate everything she does so much! Finally, I have to thank my liitle brother. Even though he annoys me sometimes (what little brother doesn't?), I have grown to love his company. I'm thankful that he talks and fools around with me. In short, THANK YOU GUYS! I love you all so much ❤️3
