I'M THANKFUL FOR CONTEST -

In life, there are many essential ingredients that I'm most thankful for. They make my heart pump, quicken, and beat. I need them to live. But there is one thing that I'm most thankful for: my family. In fact, without them, I wouldn't be alive.

My "main" family consists of 6 members- my mother, father, older brother, two older sisters, and me, the youngest. First of all, it would be close to impossible for me to be alive and be here at this moment if I didn't have a mother or father- they brought me life. And life is a pure gift that it hurts me to think about the end. My mother and father have done so many important things- they both do important work- but life is the best gift.

My sisters are very different but very alike. They are fun to talk too, and are good at giving advice. Though, one thing about them is that they worry too much, they care about me and don't want me getting hurt. Overprotective, but I'm thankful for that. If they weren't overprotective, where would I be now?

My brother is a little apart from the whole family. But on and off my sisters and I have been having short yet memorable conversations with him. We have been gradually spending more time, but every moment counts.

Family is what I most thankful for. It's painful to imagine me without a family- because I would be completely nothing. Emotionless, thoughtless. But I do have them, and they shaped me into who I am today. It's safe to say I'm pleased with who I am.
