Good Evening Everyone!I will be tallying everything and posting tonight the winners of the contests, games and activities. Thank you so much for participating and hope you all had fun!! 😊😊During Thanksgiving I was out of town and have been quite busy offline. There are two procedures I need done so please keep me in your thoughts. Thanks, @colette. 😸LOL That is great! I haven't found many gobblers but then again didn't have time to join in as would have liked in the fun Thanksgiving Event. I can't wait to see who are the lucky 10 winners. 😃

Evening to you, Marie aka @marie_lily!! 😸Yes, it was blessed as got to see family/friends haven't seen in 7 years but could have used more time in New York and didn't get to eat hardly which is the first time ever. LOL Did you celebrate the holiday and if so, how was it for you?Hi, how are you @eggs? It is great to see you online now. I agree, the time zones are hard getting use to because of such a difference but at least we can still talk in realtime no matter the hour. 😃Really? It is delicious, to me it is like a spicy and stronger smelling sweet potato pie. I love them both! 😊That is wonderful you celebrate Christmas. It is such a beautiful time of the year around the world. I love the decorations but mostly the generosity it brings out in everyone in the spirit of the holiday. How true, @colette. It is all about the fun doing the event and whether common or not it will still be special to you. My sentiments exactly and nothing beats a failure but a try, most chances successful when persistent. 😊 I wish you all the best!I adore the confetti, @eggs! @byfelisa Wow! Cool! New York? I've ALWAYS wanted to go there 😸 The only big cities I've ever gone to is Chicago and D.C. x3My Thanksgiving was really fun! We had a huge party and then my family, my friends' family, and my other friend all went to Skyfall (the new James Bond movie). 😊 It was so amazing! And now it's Friday again and soon, I'll have winterbreak from school!

@byfelisa Thank you! And I do agree. A failure is exactly a try, in certain terms. You can try but fail, but it's not bad to fail if you try. However if you fail and you feel sorry for yourself, it's your fault if you didn't try. ;o

New York is an exciting city that never sleeps, @iulianna1. Like all big cities have to be careful but it is so much to see, eat and do. I love visiting there, when I use to live there it wasn't the same as it is now.I've been to D.C. which was an awesome trip! I wouldn't mind going back to get one of their hot dogs. 😊Someday we will go to Chicago, just out of curiosity mostly, what sights did you see there?That sounds like a very thrilling way to spend the holiday. I heard the movie is the best Bond one yet. I'm really happy you had a fun Thanksgiving and hope your winter break is just as enjoyable!! 😃You're totally right, @colette. 😊 I always told my daughters if they didn't win something but did their best they still achieved an accomplishment in that they did the task at hand; tried. Failing is not trying at all. If you don't do so good this is still putting your best foot forward and should keep trying until you get the result you seek. Success is measured in anyone's take on what they were trying to achieve in the end. Words of wisdom my family instilled in me.Though, some do feel sorry for themselves when things don't work out; its a cop out. If you believe in yourself you will look at it as room for improvement or a challenge to go at it again. 😊Bless you, @tikimaki. 5 members came up as additional drawing winners. There are 8 altogether so this is really splendid and thank you. You are terrific! 😸 Thanks, I have added prettymint and so glad no one has been left out while I was away.

@byfelisa Success is doing the best you can do, not the best others can do. And the word failure can be used as the worst you can do, without any attempts. This is starting to sound cliche, but I do believe it is true. 😊 You got to give it your all for success.

@byfelisa Yeah, I know about the "being careful" part. When we were in Chicago, we left our GPS in the car in downtown and when we came back the window was broken and all our stuff was gone D; I've been to a LOT of places in Chicago (we live near there, kind of xD) But the best places are probably Navy Pier, the Magnificent Mile (downtown pretty much), and I love the Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum (home of the Lions of Tsavo), and the Alder Planetarium. Just curious, where did you used to live in New York? Near the city?Yeah, the Bond movie is great! I loved it! 😃 And I'm really looking forward towards Christmas. Are you doing anything special for the holidays?

Yes, @colette. I always despised comparisons between people as no one is the same but similar and so is their best. You do for yourself because you want to do it. There are some that measure success by others and that is wrong and at times hurtful. LOL it is but is also part right. There are some that don't have to break a sweat; their attempt is effortless almost and excel at most anything they set their sights on. They are short of genius so doesn't always apply but for the most part giving your all does give you a greatest chance at success. 😃 I miss getting to talk with you all like this!Yes, you can join in some activities, all the mini-games and some contests. If unsure which ones just PM me and will let you know, @tikimaki. Yes, I saw them and thank you for doing so. 😸 Totally true, even more reason to keep trying and never see yourself as a loser or failure. Mentally it grips you and dwelling on it will prevent you from succeeding in anything you want to do.That is so sad that happened, where you able to replace the things stolen? Unfortunately that is the plight of big cities. I have written them all down and will make sure those are the places we visit when in Chicago. It must be nice to be somewhat near there.When I was born and for two years afterwards we lived in Manhattan. 5 years in Queens which was wonderful but lived the remainder of growing up and rearing my children in the Bronx until I moved to Massachusetts. It is so different and love the animals, scenery and slower pace living here. That is great!! It is nothing like a good movie. 😊 I believe it might be New York again but not sure. We might have family/friends here for Christmas. Whatever it is, it should be a great holiday, @iulianna1.

@byfelisa I feel like I'm in leadership class. The teacher has us write everyday about some new topic. The topic "success" and "failure" have came up. For success it talked about your best is the best there is in the world for you. The failure part said that failing is only bad if you don't learn anything from it, and that failure was a step into success. I'm like repeating things. xD
