Alex and Sirius quick as lightning jumped onto a branch and then began to climb. They went around and around but they co to use to climb. So they reached the top of the branch and they held on tight.

Charlotte realized that at the base of the branch, there wasn't actually much movement. It wasn't that hard at all. She stood up and jumped onto the next branch, then kept climbing until she reached the top of the tree.

Becky knew something was wrong. A seemingly motionless tree had started to thrash, and Becky knew that something more than ghosts had done it. Becky was small, light and quick, and when a branch on the tree came swinging towards her, she jumped, landing on top of it.
"Eat your heart out, inviseeble peoples! I can do it whether or not ze tree can see me!" She screamed, not sure if there were invisible people or not. If so, well, she had to put on a show. As the branch thrashed around, she sat up and held on tight, trying to get her balance. She was waiting for the right moment in three... two... one...
A branch whizzed over where her head should have been, and instead met her hands, where she grabbed it and quickly sat with her legs straddling the branch. "I did eet! I switched branches!" She said, her British accent and French pronunciation clashing again.

Alex and Sirius saw a new girl boasting and turned visible again. They held onto the tree branch and then began to hop from one to the next. They LOVED climbing trees and usually hung out in them, though their parents weren't fans of them doing so.

Grace scaled the tree as it began moving. She snickered as a French girl started yelling at them. 'Eat your heart out, invisible people?' she thought. 'Really?' Shaking her head, Grace jumped to another branch. "I can do eet too!" she shouted, mocking the girl's accent.

Becky smiled. Her plan had worked! She'd gotten the people (wherever they were) to acknowledge her. As a branch nearly took her head off, she ducked and swung onto one underneath her. "Relax, just teasing you!" She said, doing a somersault and ending up scaling a few more branches to avoid being bashed to death. "Although I'll bet it's got to be a bit eeasier when no one can see you." She said, although she said it kindly.

Alex and Sirius chuckled and called back, "We we! We can do eet too!" They continued to jump from branch to branch.

Becky figured out where the voices were coming from, grabbed a bench above her head, and ended up slamming right into the invisible people calling to her. Even with twigs in her blonde ponytail, and dirt on her Beaubatons' outfit, she was still smiling, and she still looked very pretty. "Nice to meet you, I'd shake your hand. But I can't see you very well." She said, british accent actually sounding weird to her, not mixed with any French. Shaking her head, she wondered who she had just run into, and if they were nice... or not.

Alex and Sirius hopped from the free and landed in front of the girl, they were visible now. They both bowed over dramatically and said in a heavy drawl, "Hello I am Sirius and this is Alex. It is divine to make your aquatintense, what is your name?" They smiled and straightened up. Sirius was mostly hidden in the dark but Alex stood out. Her crimson streaks seemed to shine under the moonlight and so did her green eyes.

Grace hung onto a branch above the French girl, Alex, and Sirius. "Show offs," she muttered loud enough for the two Gryffindors to hear. A smile was on her face the whole time, even though it wasn't visible.

Alex and Sirius smiled and said, "Oh shut up smart allic." They laughed and Alex tapped the Ravenclaw firmly on the head makin her visible. Sirius smiled and said, "You have been exposed."

"I thought that's what you are," Grace playfully retorted. She jumped over a branch that flew at her. "Eep!" she squeaked. It had come very unexpectedly, so she was startled.

Becky hesitated. "Oh... I'm am in Ravenclaw as well." She said, already knowing that her French was going to fade quickly around these people, and spoke the next words in pure French. "C'est un bon maison*!" She added, hoping she wouldn't lose her pronunciation and fluency just being around a lot of British kids. As she spoke, she ducked and jumped, so she was beside the other Ravenclaw. She held out her hand for a handshake.


*"C'est un bon maison" means "It is a good house"

Alex and Sirius cocked their heads and Alex said, "We don't speak your language." They made jesters as they spook and then they started laughing.

Grace politely shook the girl'd hand. "I'm Grace," she introduced herself. "Sorry, I don't speak French. Languages aren't my forte."

The girl shook her hand back. "My name ees Becky." She said, and turning to the other two, she gestured to her outfit. The blue Beaubatons' uniform. "I learned French at Beaubatons'." She said, then extended her hands to them. "And I said, eet is a good 'ouse. Now, what are your names?" She asked, hoping they wouldn't be too rude to answer.

Alex and Sirius laughed good naturedly, "Ahh so we have a Beaubatons joining us." They smiled at her and said, "Well I am Alex Potter and this is my twin brother Sirius Potter (no they aren't related to Harry Potter)." They bowed.

Grace evaded another branch that swished dangerously close to her head. "Can we please move somewhere else?" she pleaded. "I almost got cracked on the head."

Alex and Sirius nodded, "Yeah let's get away from this tree." They walked to another tree and sat down underneath it, they were out of the Whomping Willow's reach too.

Becky jumped down from the Whomping Willow, which would have killed her, but sure enough the Willow lashed out at her, just like she anticipated. She turned herself into a high dive position as the branch underneath her was confused, and moved up a little to reposition itself. She gasped, and ended up grabbing the branch with her hands, flipping off with a small flip, landing on her butt on another branch, and falling hard on her ankle. Wincing, she stood up. "Stupid moving branches." She muttered with a small laugh.

Charlotte swung down from the branch she was on, tapping herself on the head to make herself visible. "Bonjour, Becky. Tu es alle Beauxbatons? Je n'ai jamais ete la. Comment est-ce?*" She grinned. "J'ai appris le francais de ma mere, elle parle le francais si bien qu'elle n'a pas un accent britannique!**...Not trying to brag, sorry."

*Hello, Becky. You went to Beauxbatons? I've never been there. How is it?

**I learned French from my mother, she speaks French so well that she doesn't even have a British accent!

Grace hopped down from the Whomping Willow with ear. She strolled over to Alex and Sirius and plopped down on the ground. "We need an easier way to get together. That willow over there isn't exactly a meeting place," she explained.

Sirius rolled his eyes at Charlotte, "Show off." He laughed too naturedly and then turned to Grace and nodded, "Ueah it would be nice to be able to meet you guys without getting our heads chopped off."

As Becky spoke in French, her British accent faded. She was pleased, because when she spoke with her French accent, it was flawless... and fast. She was still perfectly fluent with her British accent, but whenever she switched languages it seemed to fade away.
"Une autre personne francaises! Brilliant! En parlant de brillant, Beauxbatons etait splendide! Je m'ennuie de l'ecole, mais Hogwarts semble etre une bonne ecole."*
She smiled at her new friends, and reached out a hand to Charlotte.

*Another french person! Brilliant!
Speaking of brilliant, Beauxbatons was splendid! I miss the school, but Hogwarts seems like a good school.

Grace attempted to stifle a yawn. "I need some sleep," she stated obviously. "I'll think of something in the morning." She messily tapped her wand on her head. Grace's body faded a little, but she was not quite invisible. "At least I'll pass as a ghost," she joked. "G'night." She trotted inside the castle.
