Also, one question. Is there something against applying for both artist and writer? Also, cn the example be of an RP here on EggCave? I can include the link of the RP for you to make sure it was really written by me.

I'm useing an rp example as well so if it's not too short (which yours never are. Your have no problem aplying) I'm sure they'd accept it 😊

For the short tidbit part, can it be more paragraphs?
I started doing mine last night introducing the characters and their roles, but in my outline I had broken the plot story down in different parts. I know you guys asked for it to be short, but it is short compared to the actual plot I have in mind, I've included a back story, introduction to the main character and why he is going on an "epic adventure", boss battles, and other important plot points, I added in as much detail (can't help from being thorough).

Would that be okay for you guys?
I can try to remove some parts.

After staring at what I have so far, I feel that it is far too long, but at the same time, short.

I always do this when it comes to writing.

Last year I was told to make a short children's story about the environment. It wasn't short, it was long. But I got an A+ on it and it got featured on the school website.

I just applied and now you make me feel bad that I didn't write more! XD I shortened mine, a lot. I didn't want it to be too long since I figure they will have quite a few apps to read through. But at the same time, I didn't want it to be too short to not feel like there was effort.

It's all about finding that happy medium.

I know what you mean. Lats year I was suppose to write a short realalistic fition story and it came out to 4 pages, 10 font. And I also got an A+ so ya. I know what you mean. Though my teacher commented "shorted up your story1"

Also, for examples of my work, would fanfiction be alright?

I feel like I have every IM under the sun (but I probably don't).
As for the whole fanfiction thing, that's just the most recent thing I have (unfortunately I haven't worked on any short stories recently).

Don't feel bad. Trust me, I'm sure you did good either way.
I try to put in as much effort in as possible, but some times too much effort comes to the point in which it is too much and probably not needed, but it's the matter in which it's needed or not needed.

Hah, when I presented my story to the class, the teachers just said, "Impressive.", the students were the ones telling me to shorten my story.

I don't think there's a limit as to how long or how many examples can be listed.

Thanks for yor applications everyone! We've got a lot to go through but we hope to make a decision soon!

You don't necessarily need to have an IM/Skype but email is a must. As previously stated, it would be helpful and you don't need to download anything -- there are a lot of free websites.

Also, one thing to note, Skype has a IM feature so we wouldn't be using the video calls (since you can't have multiple people without paying).

@vanilla Our original goal was to finish before summer's over, but we never know. If you apply and get accepted and then need to leave for whatever reason, we would understand.

they're more interested in what you quality is in you creativity.They are seeking more of an older age group. Though it really doesn't matter. I think it is required though....

This sounds cool! Even if I don`t get accepted I won`t be able to wait to play it! Is it alright if I send in my application tommorow? I can`t copy and paste on the device I`m using. My dad`s a software developer so if you needed any help with the coding I can ask him. I have two writings, one long, one short, can I send in both, though the long one`s not finished, does that matter? I`d really like to help!
