@bunnyshadow

That's what I mean. You don't have to.

A jersey number, time zone, and other small things you may not realize can be dangerous.

Any ways, I'm done with this topic. It's not my business. I know I'll not be allowing my cousin on this site to post their picture, and that's about all I can do here.

Best of luck.

@Art

Lol, yeah.

xD

I dunno about anyone else. But I get a little crazy sometimes too. They wouldn't come back in my house. I broke a girls jaw because she walked in-between my boyfriend and I, which would distract them, I guess. xD

Not to mention if I even mention to my boyfriend that I've been seeing the same car around everywhere I go or something like that.. I'm pretty sure if the guy had to deal with both of us he wouldn't like it very much, probably would be in the hospital. Considering my bf broke a guy leg for saying the wrong thing to me, is a black belt in Tae kwon do, and taking brazilian jiu jitsu classes, AND took down my mom's boyfriends' son, who's 21. GOOD LUCK CREEPS. 😊

I know it's unsafe, but I'm not gonna just not live because of it. That's EXACTLY why I'm taking classes so I can protect myself and my family. 😊

Plus, @Dawnfur is pretty feisty. She has a wild arm. XD
If she throws laptops at me, I'd hate to know what she'd throw at them.

I have Facebook as well and no not everyone has to see you. They have Privacy options. Your not my friend you cannot find me even if you know my name. I have another account I check to be sure my account that I do actually use is safe. I can't find myself.

Pretty amazing how unaware people are of FB and the features they have. Yet use it as a reason that it's ok to post your pictures every where.

CIPA and COPPA are not laws by chance they are there for a real unseen threat.

@blackdeathkitty

I concur. I can see that teens want to be accepted, but I think there's a large portion of which that don't really understand the risks of posting 'real life' pics. Seriously, I just turned 18 not too long ago and I'm still nervous to do things like that. I can imagine what some are thinking, "Get out of here you loser! You don't know what you're talking about!"
But honestly, although Eggcave is safe enough, the internet in general is a dangerous place. So everyone please be careful. 😊

Hahahaha. xD I am so not safe I suppose! I met one of my best friends on neopets actually. We talked through neo/eggcave for about a year, and then she told me where she lived and my family and I drove up to meet her after talking to her parents about it. I don't regret it at all. I'm not very safe with my information, and I /know/ there are SOME pervy men out there. But they really don't make up much of the internet, it seems to be just some scare tactic. I've facebook friended over 10 of the friends I made on neo/subeta and none of them have been scary at all. x3

Sometimes I post pics of myself. I did it a lot last year, but not too much now.

I don't jave a problem with your opinion... Except what people are saying about self-esteem is seriously getting on my nerves.

If people call themselves ugly, then I understand it. I don't say they're mental, or they need help or guidance, or any of that crap. I call myself hideous, because it's true in my opinion, but that doesn't necessary make me suicidal or mentally unstable or anything. So it's not the first thing you wanna hear someone say, "I'm freaking hideous," But a little bit of understanding does go a long way. ^^

@blackdeathkitty

I agree with the 2nd thing you said! It's annoying ;_; Cause you know they're all fishing for compliments when someone says " Im so ugly..... aren't I ugly? Beware my uglyness! I hope it doesnt offend you. Guys do you think im ugly?" Those are the kind of questions where there is no other answer besides " Nooo! Hunny you are so pretty! Im jealous" Unless you're a straight out blunt person like me. Then when someone points out that they just want attention they get all defensive and say " No, im just really insecure! Im depressed" Or something like that. If you're going to post a picture the worst thing to post after it is " Im so ugly"

@dreamer

I don't think they need help. I personally think if they truly found themselves ugly, they wouldn't post photos on the internet.

Makes sense to me. *shrugs*

@April_ I've been trying to post a picture of myself online for days, but whenever I snap a picture it looks horrible. D: I normally DON'T post pictures, but people are always telling eachother "I wanna see you!" Or simply posting their own pic maes someone else want to as well.

It's pretty much just peer pressure I think. X3 But I get what you mean.

@dreamer

I just base this on my group of friends, and myself when I was younger.

I've never understood peer pressure. But I've always just ignored it. *shrug*

Ah well, none of this affects me, so... I don't really care. XD
