I only have a nice cove because of awesome friends, but Im really struggling to trade for a /little/ amount of CC. I cant buy it myself, and people want a lot for even just 100CC ☹️

I wont quit or something, but its so annoying. I just want to have some CC to buy a new CS. But its so hard to trade for it, sadly.

Im only two weeks here, and Im happy with my cove so far, but I hate it when people get so greedy ._. I just want some CC.

I agree wheres olden day eggcave when you need it EC should at least be used other than tims and travels maybe some cash shop can be turned EC 😋 or release monthly cave creatures not shop ones

CC has ruined my experience. I can't trade anymore with just my creatures. It's annoying. I apparently have to have CC to get my dream cove. When my parents won't allow me to get CC, it's hard ☹️

Everybody's all "CC this..." "CC that..." I just wish it would stop!
And I know Ian doesn't want us to trade CC, but why did he make it such a major part of this site then :/

And it would be nice to have a month without CC, to actually trade creatures instead of money ^^

I looked through the trade center, I cant find anything I want for EC.

Several times I've seen greatcreatures in the trade center that catch my eye. So I contact the user on what they're interested in, and 75% of the time it's either tons of CC, OR CC creatures.

I mean, I don't want junk eggs or recent les, but restricting your trades to ONLY CC? Really guys, calm down. There's plenty of CC on the website, and you don't need to hoard it.

It's so hard to trade for CC, too. If I ever want one of the new monthlies I need to give an offer worth 1,000 cavecash just to get ONE! It's pretty ridiculous.

I even put one of my Olimpts up for trade, and everyone keeps backing out. Because they'd rather hoard CC than actually have a creature. :/

I agree! It actually seems that the cave LEs are made less appealing on purpose - they are either not as nice looking as the CCs or have only one stage (which I really don't like that much, except for the Brios and the Flofbite. But those are CSP creatures). I think the EC staff should come up with more appealing LE creatures, like Florns or Foos! Those are really nice creatures.

But I agree with what you said. CSP are made more "fancier" than MOST LEs (because we can agree there still are some LEs that are better looking than CSPs).

Suckerlops, the hummingbird, and tasmas are kinda nice, the art is good. But others like alkub and sparktail aren ot nearly as nice as a beweg ( which I love ❤️ ) and adarna ( which I also love ❤️ )

I agree that this place is dominated by CC, when I first came here I was rather shocked by it. I had never been to a place which was so overrun by money. I'd played Dragon Cave and GPX Plus before, and both sites didn't even have a real life money feature. The creator of DC in fact, said that they would never give perks to donators and has stuck to that.

But I can't really blame Ian either. This site isn't as big as the others, and it needs money to keep the site running. Since it's real life money, then of course, it will be more valuable and the economy will revolve around it. I don't like it, but there isn't many ways to fix it without eliminating it entirely.

The only CC I have was earned by drawing pictures for people they were generous enough to give it to me. A lot of the people here are really great ❤️


ian should get profit from this site, but I think if he can, he should try to fit this CC craze, although he may not be able to. I just wish the creatures I like where cheaper.

@balletninja couldn't agree more..I mean there should be a reasonable amount of cc creatures, you know, to run the site but three new ones every month?! I don't even remember all of them Dx. I remember when there was the balrog and Rhine in the cc shop for like 6 months. XDD

That's why my new creature I designed, the Zaeyga, will be a cave creature if it ever gets made. I hope some people here will want it to be made, because we NEED a cute creature that isn't a CC! I've given up on my goal of getting every creature, because there's too much CC trading involved. As is, I'm trying to trade an olimpt & bellato and others for Luvleis to collect instead, and every user I find backs out. I don't care about rarity of tine or other creatures. I wish one day we had a mega re-release. Yeah, yeah, sue me somebody, but every single creature, dropped into the cave for a day. Unannounced on the blog. That would at least give SOME users some leverage!!!!

I agree too. I'm getting a bit bored with Egg Cave just because the new monthlies are the only thing to look forward to right now. I've decided to not buy any CC and I don't think I ever will, but I still like to collect the creatures I really like and since there's so few cave eggs nowadays, the CC monthlies are the only thing for me to "hunt" around here. :/

So, for me, every month is sort of like: Yikes, I really hope I don't like ALL of the new monthlies - or even worse - like all of them, but not in their fully grown stages, which means I'd have to trade something for CC so I can get freezes too.

I miss the old Egg Cave, really.
The time when we just gave stuff away to be kind. I gave away 10 Tines once. I wish that still felt like a good decision, but it sort of doesn't when I think of how much CC they could have given me in trades today and how nice it would have been to have that much CC on hand so I wouldn't have to whine over the new monthlies 12 times a year. xD
