The path the boy walked on was bare. Except for a patch of blood that was hard to see.
The boy didn't know. He didn't know that that would be the last night he would be alive. Not even to tell his tale.
The boy didn't notice anything. The quick beatings of his heart, the silence of the forest, even the blood on the ground. It was as if... he had no body. He was being controlled.
The boy had left earlier that day. No one had seen him leave. His parents were gone for the week. Nope, no one had seen him. The birds were dead, the grass brown, and the sheep slaughtered.
The boy continued walking along the path. He was willing himself to stop. But no, he couldn't. He had to reach where he was going first.
Soon, the trees parted to reveal a isolated place. In the middle, was a well. He walked up to it. Inside his mind, he was begging himself not to move, and go back home. But he couldn't. He had no control anymore.
He grabbed the bucket that was hanging, and put himself in. He let the rope go loose, and he was in the well. He walked along the path that the river had made, and soon reached where he was going to be found, three years later.

The boy walked along the path. Closer to his doom, and where he would be found. There was a door at the end of the passage way, and the boy opened it. He was killed on sight. A sharp bout of pain, and he would never see the light again.
He never really figured out what killed him. But three years later, when someone found that body, the mystery was solved. But he forgot again, as he was murdered as a ghost, as well as the person that had found him.

THREE YEARS LATER
"Come on Jacob! I dare you to go into the well. People said someone died there," said Jacob's best friend, Harry.
"Harry, you're being mean to me. I seriously don't want to go down there," said Jacob. Harry made chicken noises at Jacob. "Fine then, I will. But you owe me fifty dollars for this."
"Haha, fine, I'll give it to you when you come back up," said Harry, still laughing. Jacob ignored Harry and climbed into the bucket, and Harry lowered the bucket slowly.
When Jacob reached the bottom, he left the bucket and walked along the path. He felt.. Exposed. He found a door, surprisingly, and he opened it. He saw white sticks, bones? And when he looked up, he met the same fate as that boy, three years later.
