Eg I got a tine on v-day and I quit for about 6 months and mine survived! So it's special to me! I also had a doovoo and macbot and onny but they died.

My guess is because they've become a little more rare and harder to get than other creatures. And a lot of people love the way they look. They are a very unique looking creature, after all. Even for eggcave.

I know a lot of people really want to get their hands on one because they don't have one. The problem is, that there isn't the same amount of these creatures as there are players.

Maybe in the future Ian will consider either selling them in the Cash Shop or re-releasing them for a short amount of time.
I know other people have suggested that old LE creatures should be re-released in some fashion, so maybe if there are enough followers and supporters Ian will consider it in the future.

Although there could be problems that would follow re-releases, so it's also possible that he won't consider it.
What kind of problems? Well people who were here when these creatures first came out in the cave and managed to keep them alive this long may feel like they've been slighted because then they aren't as rare as they used to be. But also people who traded away a lot of rare creatures for one tine may feel slighted as well because then they have this creature that was really rare, and they traded away other rares for it, and then it isn't as rare anymore.

Well I went a little off topic there but I thought I'd cover everything on my mind O-O

I've been told that too many tines. I'd give anything for a Tine ... You.... But I won't pay for it... To which degree of miserableness do I have to be to get one? Seriously, it's not like I WANT to pay for it. I have a life!
