Sirius nodded, "Yeah, I wonder why, is it blind or something?" He asked curiously, cocking his head as he watched the lion.

Winter looked at him, "It's all amazing." She said, again acting like she could read his thoughts or something.

@hedwig68 That would be so awesome if Winter had a power to read other's minds. 😸 (I'm not saying: 'give her that power'- I'm just starting conversation. x))

Ria looked closely at the beast. It growled and sniffed the air constantly. His eyes were only a mist. Ria nodded. "Yes... It knows we are here by smelling us." She noted.

Irascible nodded, getting used to her reading his thoughts.

Sirius stared at lion and nodded, "Yeah, we can use that to our advantage greatly." He told her, his eyes never leaving the large beast.

Winter then turned her gaze back to the trees.

Ria sighed. "But it smells us- and can most likely hear our every step. What can we do?"

"Are you hungry?" Irascible asked.

Ria nodded. "We must go seriously fast to confuse it though."

Irascible pricked up his ears, and heard a squirrel not to far from where they were. He crouched, and jumped on it, killing it. "Wanna share? I'm not that hungry... but if your hungry then you can have the whole prey."

Sirius grinned, "I can handle speed." He said, he then took off and began to circle the lion as quickly as he could, he wasn't even two feet away from the lion.

Winter shrugged, "I'll take a small bite." She nibbled at it, taking not even a full mouth full, and then stepped back, "Okay, I'm full."

Ria joined Sirius, and sped up until she was going Sirius' speed. She ran next to him.

The lion looked around, confused. He roared.

"Really?" Irascible asked, looking at the prey. "That's not even a mouthful."

Ria kept running until she got so dizzy. She ran to the side and walked dazily around.

"Alright," Irascible said as he started eating.

Sirius tried to fight the dizziness he was beginning to feel and he kept running in circles.

Winter stretched out and she then scaled a tree to watch the sunset.

Ria fell and shook her head. She stood up, finally not dizzy anymore. She looked at the confused lion and swiftly jumped on it, pushing it on it's back. She tore at it's face.

Irascible watched the sunset as well. He thought it was beautiful.

Sirius dived under the lion and bit its stomach. He felt a crushing paw hit him but he tried to fight off the pain.

Winter stared at the sunset quietly and stayed expressionless.

Ria dove after the lion's paw that had hit Sirius. She tore at the paw and sunk her teeth into it.

After the sun went down, Irascible looked at Winter. "Is it boring?- To not have any emotion- I mean." He asked.

Sirius limped out from under the lion and then he jumped onto its back. He bit down as hard as he could into its neck fur and felt warm blood gush into his mouth.

Winter stared at him, if she could be amused it seemed she'd be at that moment, "I don't know, I can't feel boredom, or maybe I can, who knows?" She said.

The lion fell down with exhaustion and gasped for breath.

"It's weak!" Ria said as she jumped on it's head. "It can't take much more." She clawed at the lion's nose.

Irascible shrugged, chuckling. "Well, I mean- you can feel pain. I thought- ya know- maybe you could feel boredom(?)" Amusement shone in his eyes.

Sirius dove forwrads and clawed itsstomach until finaly he felt it give one last breath and move no longer. "Finally, its dead!"

Winter stared at him for several long moments before saying, "Has anyone ever told you that you ask to many questions about things that don't concern you? Becuase you really do."

Ria jumped off the lion. Her legs were unsteady, so she sat down. Her breath was hard. "You... alright?" She asked.

Irascible widened his eyes. He was thrown back. "Uh... what?"

Irascible sighed. "We should go to sleep now- it's dark," he said, changing the subject.

"Goodnight," Irascible said. He wanted to go and sleep too, but he wasn't tired. He looked up.
Irascible remembered what Winter had said:
'Has anyone ever told you that you ask to many questions about things that don't concern you? Becuase you really do.'
Irascible closed his eyes, remembering a fox he had befriended a year ago. It was an arctic fox. He had become friends with Irascible, and Irascible was curious about his new friend. So Irascible asked the fox many questions about him, and then there was that day. The arctic fox told him that he asked too many questions that didn't concern him, and then the arctic fox went away.
Why... do I keep doing this.... Irascible thought.
