"That's how I am with everybody..." Irascible trailed off. He hates having to do that. But he has to or else he will say something stupid... but he still says stupid things anyway...

Sirius smiled and his conversation with Demine popped into his head. He slightly shook his head and then looked back up at her.

Winter stared at him and said, "Whatever you say..."

Ria looked at Sirius. "Something wrong?" She asked.

Irascible drew back his ears. "You don't believe me?"

Sirius shook his head, "No, not really. I'm just...thinking," he told her quickly, pausing for a moment before saying 'thinking'.

Winter stared at him, "No, you think I'm weird and different cause I don't have emotions, admit it, I know you do."

Ria just looked at him with a concerned gaze.
What was he thinking about?

"What? I'll admit, you're different- but everyone's different!" Irascible said. "I'm different. Others hate me- why do you think I have this scar on my hind leg?" He said. "I've met weird wolves and foxes, and trust me, you're not one of them." He remembered this one wolf that was strange. That wolf said that birds talk to him, and invite him to fly...

Sirius glanced at Ria for a second and asked, "Did Demine tell you anything about his talk with me?"

Winter stared at Irascible, "Look into my eyes and tell me that you don't think that I am the least bit weird, then I'll believe you." She told him, she looked at him with her expressionless black eyes, they seemed almost like never ending pits of nothingness. Her face was emotionless, it was impossible to tell what she was thinking.

Ria shook her head. "No. He said you two had a private conversation, and told me not to ask about it."

Irascible stared into Winter's eyes. He actually thought that her black eyes were.. pretty. They were unusual, and he liked that. He hated how everyone was the same. He wanted everyone to be different, like Winter. "You are not the least bit weird." He said.

Sirius nodded, "Okay." He said, he then fell silent not knowing what to say next.

Winter stared at him for several more moments, she almost seemed to be analyzing every single move he made. She then got to her feet and said, "I believe you." She then turned and walked out of the cave entrance, "Follow if you want." She called back and she continued to walk on.

Ria didn't know what to do either, so she just rested her head on Sirius' paws.

Irascible got up and ran after Winter until he caught up. He started sniffing the air, wondering what was going on in the forest.

Sirius rested his head on top of her's and stayed silent.

Winter didn't even speak she just kept walking on. She closed her eyes and felt the cool wind wip through her fur. She let out a deep breath and cotninued to walk.

"What should we do now?" Ria asked.

What should I say? Irascible thought. I don't want it to get awkward between us again...
He breathed in and breathed out. "It's a nice day today, huh?" He asked as he looked up at the sun.

Sirius shrugged, "I don't know, what do you want to do?" He asked her, he wanted her to do what she wanted, he didn't want to choose something she'd think was boring or lame.

Winter nodded, "Yeah it is, there will be very few days like this soon with winter coming. It'll be snowing and the landscape will look so beautiful."

"Hm..." Ria thought for a second. "Remember... a while ago- we were in your home, and we were looking over the whole forest from a cliff or something?"

Irascible nodded. "I love snow. It's so pretty and fluffy." He chuckled.

Sirius nodded, "Yeah I remember, what a beautiful sight it was. Is that where you'd like to go then?" He asked her, he smiled, that place sounded great to him.

Winter nodded, "Yeah, I ove the winter, its so magnificent. Snow is so beautiful and it sparkles under the sunlight."

Ria nodded. "Yeah, can we go?" She asked, waving her tail back and forth.

Irascible nodded. "I like the cold too, so when you go into a cave or a den or something, it feels so warm."

Sirius nodded, "Of course, let's go." He said, he slowly got to his feet and stretched his legs. He wagged his tail happily and waited for her to get ready too.

Winter nodded, "Yeah, and after a long day of playing the snow it is nice to go into a toasty den and get warm."

Sirius smiled, "Let's go then." He then began to lead her back to his home. He stopped at the entrance and waited for her to catch up.

Winter nodded, "Yeah, but how would I know, I haven't felt that feeling in almost two years."

Ria ran after Sirius and caught up. She started to walk forward, but then stopped as she remembered the force field.

Irascible nodded. "True, but can't you remember it?"

Sirius smiled, "Ria you can come in." He then walked insid ethe forcefield and headed off towards the hill.

"Vaguely, the memory is very faint," Winter told him.

Winter stared at him and nodded, "Yeah, you don't have to feel bad for me though."

Winter shook her head, "No, that'd be strange, I could see the pity you had for my on your face an in your eyes, just because I don't have emotions doesn't mean I can't read other's emotions."

Ria nodded as her gaze slowly swept across the field. "Yeah... it's so gorgeous..." She said.
It really is pretty... and I wouldn't want to be here with anyone else other than Sirius, she thought.

"Oh yeah, I forgot others could read the emotions in my eyes." Irascible said. "I have to admit- I haven't talked to someone without fighting them for a while now."

Gorgeous like you, Sirius wanted to say but he couldn't. He just nodded, "Yeah its very beautiful at this time of the year."

"Then it seems we both have rotton luck with finding others to talk to. As you know by now I also never seem to be able to have a full conversation without getting into a fight or scaring them off."

Sirius nodded, "I know." He sais smiling he then looked at the beautiful lanscape, "Its beautiful but I've seen prettier things."
