"Let's see if we can find Maple; we'll bring her. And maybe Leaf, if we can find her," Lupin said.

Sapphire shrugged. "I have an adopted father, but I don't see him much anymore," she said.

Leaf was stalking a very small squirrel.

Cinder nodded, "Was he a good father?"

Lupin shrugged and began to track them down by scent.

Sapphire nodded, smiling wistfully. "Yes, he is a good father. He still watches out for me, and I love him."

Maple smelled other wolves from her pack close by but she wanted to be alone so she ran away.

Leaf continued to stalk the squirrel.

Moon looked around and started to think about where they could be. "Hmmmmm" She said to herself, "Where are they?"

Lupin waited for Leaf to get the squirrel.

Sapphire smiled. "And what about you? What made you decide to become friends with a loner, even when you know you could get in trouble for meeting me?"

Leaf crouched down and sprang forward. She landed on the squirrel with a lot of power, she killed it quickly.

Maple continued to run.

Cinder smiled, "Everyone deserves a friend, whether it breaks rules or it doesn't."
