@spirithawk

I would like to replace one of my poems with another one-

Daisy is my awesome dog,
But I'm very sad to say,
That even though I hide my shoes,
She finds them everyday.
I run around the living room,
And see them at her feet.
Then I run around for hours on end
To see if she'll retreat.
I try, I fail, I try once more
To make her drop my shoes.
But however patient I tried to be,
I think I blew a fuse.

What happens if you win?

~Breakfast for Aerlo~

Aerlo, long and cute and curly,
Goes to find breakfast, he woke up early.
Fish can make a tasty snack,
Catch a few and take them back!

Aerlo doesn't want fish though,
So he searches through the snow.
He finds berries plump and sweet,
Snow berries make a delicious treat!

But Aerlo still wants something new,
And now he's getting thirsty too!
Where could he find something to eat,
Something yummy, that can't be beat?

Then Aerlo got an idea great,
I'll go see what Taka ate!
I ate pancakes stacked up high!
I want pancakes, Aerlo sighs.

Why didn't you say so before? I ask,
Pancake making's an easy task!
So I made him a big fat stack,
Enough to last him 'til midnight snack!

His eyes they sparkled, how fast he ate,
Until there was nothing on his plate.
We both laughed when he let out a burp,
And then he finished his milk with a slurp.

And that is how, now as you know,
I began making breakfast for my Aerlo!

@spirithawk
My 3 poems will take 3 posts😊
Heres the 1st one:
Can't they see she's on the ground,
On the edge of breaking down
And she wishes her world would just end right now.

But still something she can't define urges her on.
"Everything is going to be OK starting from today," she'd tell herself
Even though her gut says something else.

A pained expression masking her face.
But all she has left now is to pray,
Pray to find a way,
For the pain to fade away

After all the pain has passed she still will remain
Because she is strong like that,
And she has learned how to deal with the pain.

@spirithawk

We are wrapped in a fog so thick,

it seems we are alone.

We build castles and moats brick by brick,

To hide from enemies made of stone.

They are our troubles, fears, witches and ghouls

Surrounding your protection waiting for your false shields to collapse

In your fortress you sit near light-filled pools,

To keep the shadows of the fog away?perhaps.

We invent beliefs to ignore the truth,

We build castles and forts to hide from its ugly face.

We wish for evidence to make it false, we want proof,

To have it vanish without a trace.

But some people walk among the fog so thick

They don?t hide from the truth

For they are heroic.

They don?t build castles or moats

The enemies of stone guard their fictions forever

As the people of the fog travel for hours in their small, little boats

Searching for the truth others have severed.

Unbelieved and different they smile at one another,

Traveling through the truthful fog like sister and brother.

@spirithawk

Down in the depths of the ocean blue
I know a story, it has to be true.
A creature sleeps, in a deep slumber
The days 'til it awakes decrease by number.
Its big, and black, and speckled with gold,
Big wings on its back, in a tight fold.
When it snores, it snores so strong
That big tremors awake, shaking along.
When it shifts its tail, then comes in store,
Big watery waves, that crash at the shore.
This creature I know, has to be there.
The bubbles when it breathes, give fishes their air.
Without it the fish that we always see,
would not be there, and neither would we.
For without the tremors, the waves and some fish,
we'd have little to eat and the people on earth would not fit.
The things it creates can be quite a risk
People can die, its really quite brisk.
If less people died, there would be less food to eat, less water to drink, less space on the earth.
The things this creatures does are truly worth
the people on the earth.
So therefore I know, this story is true.
There is this creatures in the deep blue.

@spirithawk

this is my entry #1
Alone

Laying in an empty cave
not trusting in anyone
alone its spirit flys away
humans try to kill it
but it seals the cave
never being cared for
never having anyone to go to
always alone it cries
knowing if it cries
its spirit and its self dieds

Title - Moving On

I hate saying goodbyes
Or not I can see the sadness in your eyes
Teardrops fall and the time it stood still
But I will never hear you call
Or you know I never will
We have parted ways
In so many hours and so many days
I wish to hold you in my heart again
If only we could be dear friends again

@spirithawk

-Morning-

The sun creeps over the predawn sky,
The Wiset and Gideh no longer fly,
The Kaihon leap out into dew covered grass,
The Sparktail still swimming in lakes of glass.

The Skreel and Caiman from marshes come out,
The Unhemn creep slowly, with fear and doubt,
The Aerlo pop heads out of the deep sea blue,
The Crabbert crawl out of the ocean too.

The Yuki wake up to spread love and joy,
The Paroxy are ready to play with their toys,
The Florn bound elegantly all through the trees,
The Unipeg sparkle as they fly overseas.

The Bessy begin to graze in the fields,
The Bellato from oak trees take acorns it yields,
The Macbot boot up with a beep and a whirr,
The morning is here, Ark's creatures astir!
