@stellie I don't mean to sound awkward, offensive and/or personal but is it *ahem* that time of the month? >.<"

And are you feeling tired/getting enough sleep? How many hours (on average) are you getting per night, and how frequently do you wake up?

@stellie

Hormone imbalance? Probably, it's normal, you're not crazy so don't worry too much 😊 Since you get enough sleep (8 hours is sufficient). And you are getting, erm, symptoms of it so it's healthy.

@kimichanx3 @faybaybay

Yah, thats probably what is going on here... my "time" is almost here... but what I dont understand is when my mom is fresh to me when its her "time" its OK.... but when Im fresh to her? Shes straight out hard on me ><
I also heard that when younger girls are around hormonal women, it kind of rubs off.... thats probably why I feel much better when Im with my dad

@stellie Your mood may be signalling that you might be starting soon. If you are fatigued or stressed you will also have mood swings. Chemical imbalances (such as dopamine and GABA) can cause a short temper, and if you eat excess sugar or after (the unlikely) drunk night out, you will probably have mood swings.

@stellie: I agree it isn't fair. And I believe that's true, whenever my mom gets in a "bad mood" it affects me too. Like today she went on a cleaning spree and dragged me with her and I'm so tired and have no energy and just not in the greatest of moods. It sucks /:

@stellie Acne and oily skin isn't a symptom of your "time of the month", but because of the hormonal fluctuation acne could be one of the symptoms.

Your stress and tiredness is probably the best to blame 😋

@stellie I agree I'm not about that being a symptom. But craving sugar and sweets during that time is common and can lead to acne as well.

@stellie You're welcome, if you ever need to rant (bottling up all your feelings isn't good, especially at times of stress and fatigue) or have any questions you can always post on my wall (or PM me if you want to be private) 😊 xx

You definitely sound like me when it's 'that time'. XD

For me, my acne gets worse for that week. I call it my monthly pimple! 😋

Also, how old are you? I started when I was 10.

'That time' came for me a couple months ago and I was very short tempered and depressed even with my pills. I'm eleven now.

It's not really that your mom "rubs off on you" probably, it's more that if you're nearing your cycle, she's probably on hers. When girls live in the same house, they often get on the same cycle. If you ever need a friend, ping me, comment on my wall, or send me a PM. I'd be happy to hear anything you need.

What Luv said is true, and I know exactly what you mean when you say your mom's intolerant, mine's like that too. When she had it I had to be all considerate, but when I had it I should 'just take a painkiller'. Now she's in menopause she sometimes seems to have forgotten that it can be painful at all. -_-' Really annoying. And something else: if you're generally well behaved people will be MUCH harder on you when you act up. That's why I don't give a c*** anymore...

@Stellie This is most likely hormones, yeah. X3 It could be your time of the month if you haven't started it yet... How old are you?

Trust me, I've been there girl. I was only 10 years old. I was in a HORRIBLE mood, and I had no idea what was going on, and then a few months later... ._. XD It's hard. But it's really not so bad after a while. Actually, now I brag about it. B)

The worst part for me is the acne. D8 I'm in the middle of another breakout right now.

And what people are saying above is true, if women are in the same house they will start to have it around the same time, which is what happens with me and my mom. My siser hasn't had hers yet, and she's not showing any signs, but she gets migranes around the same time every month.

Just take it easy for a while. 😊 Don't be around anything or anyone that will stress you out. I'm due any time, and it's always a nightmare being around me at that time. X'D Just relax, try to be alone, anything that puts you at ease. To make sure you don't make anyone upset and so that they don't upset you. We get... *sniffle* Very emotional. *sob* X'D

My mom is the same way. Everytime I do something or say something about it she tells me you have to keep on going. I would say you are facing the start of puberty too. Take an alieve or other pain killer the morning you think you are about to start and continue for two days. It should help.

@stellie

Yeah, I get really tired about the same time it's about to start, and I sleep in more, so be sure to go to bed early.
You might not want to carry anything heavy, and try to take as many naps as possible. If you have headaches or your stomach aches, just take some medicine.

And yeah, I get acne about the same time xP
It's a little annoying, but it goes away when it's done. (:
