I was thinking that maybe, instead of recieving a Cave Creature for a first pet, upon joining, newbies could get an LE? Here's my logic:Some people are becoming heartless and not gifting, or at least HELPING, newbies. There are some threads for gifting newbies, but everytime I came on as a newbie either the creators were offline or the thread had died and I couldn't find it. Without CaveCash, gifting, and LE's being currently distributed, it can be very hard for newbies to get LE's. If LE's were starting creatures for newbies rather than Cave Creatures, it would be a lot easier for newbies to get the creatures they want via trading if they don't want what they got, and if they liked their creature, then here's their first LE! This also gives them an advantage over the oldies that trade only for rarity, especially if the starters change every week/month, as these LE's would only be gifted to newbies. This would also make it possible for more creature suggestions to be made, as there would be more of a need for them with the newbie LE's changing every week/month.I'm not trying to make it so that newbies can be lazy, but I was thinking it would have been nice if I had been able to start EggCave with an LE. This may also stem the flow of CC trading because the newbies might want creatures, rather than CC, for their unwanted LE starter.Opinions?@FayBayBay@Essieh@ChibiDarkness@Luv@LazyDazy411

@whitefireLOL this sounds like pokemon now XD and faybaybay cant reply because shes on vacation but It might sound pretty good but some people will make multiple sides then delete... then make to get these.

@whitefireThe idea is creative but I am going to have to say no. LE stands for limited edition because that's what they are. If any person could get an LE it would technically not be limited any more.

This is an interesting idea because a newbie has *something* to start off with. However, I'm opposed to giving them LEs that have been discontinued (otherwise there's no point in them being LEs). If there was, say, an special LE given to newbies when they create their account (not available anywhere else, and something NEW, not already released), that might work out better (for the newbies as well). They could change the newbie egg every 6 months or so."Some people are becoming heartless and not gifting newbies." Ok, I have to say something about that. I'm not sure you intended it the way it I took it ((((((((EDIT: Yep I misunderstood 😈))))))) but really, no one is required to gift you <<<CLARIFICATION: was not referring to you personally was referring to newbies in general, same goes for the rest of the post>>> anything. Even thought you start out with virtually nothing, you can get any egg you want without outside help. Go to the asteroid every day, and hope for an asteroid egg, or try the cave every day to try for a Mo, or when LEs come out trade/hoard them, or, of course, use CC. You can start trading for more valuable creatures from there. If your luck doesn't work out then you can also try stalking the TA and trading rare travels, which can sometimes get you creatures or a lot of EC.

If every newbie gets an LE, then the LE won't be an LE anymore 😊And really, I think we should keep the eggs we like, even if they are common, not because they are LE. All this emphasis on LE makes common eggs unwanted, which is a shame because there are gorgeous commons, such as the Suckerlop.

@MrsGiggles skip next post And yes, I agree that there are very nice commons such as the Tasma.@LizardFeather Yeah, you misunderstood! XD And if you're gonna quote me, do it right! XD But you're right, you aren't required to gift anybody anything.@Hedwig68@ChowChow2012Yes, I agree that sides would be a nuisance, and I was about to post that from MY side when the connection failed. But what about IP adresses? And, I meant they would be five special LE's that are ONLY for newbies. See? Now goodnight, I have to get ready for bed so that I can get up early for school.

It's a good idea, but some people aren't as heartless.I mean, I've tried a couple times to get rid of some LE's but no one ever wanted them. I've even got a lot with some commons and LE's that I'd trade for not a lot, but no one ever PMs me.So in my opinion, I'm thinking some newbies are just lazy, or don't want to go searching or take the effort in asking. But you've also got a point, and this is a good idea.

I like the idea of giving new users more to start with but I don't think that giving LEs would be the best because it is bound to be abused. It might be good to raise the starting amount of EC to like 100k though ^^ Newbies would be able to purchase newer LEs and/or travels and get a head start on getting their dream cove AND it would't be easy to abuse because you can't trade on a new account for a few days 😃

I also think that people aren't eager to gift newbies because there's a high possibility that they will become inactive or they will quit and the creature will die.
Orderedchaos • 12 August 2012 at 9:54 PM
Start with an LE? Sorry but I really don't like this idea. There's enough of a problem with people abusing multiple accounts to steal cave le's when they come out. But if new accounts automatically started with an le, there would be a constant flow of people cheating to get them.
lizardfeather • 12 August 2012 at 10:45 PM
@whitefire Alright, sorry about that =]EDIT: Just re-read my post and realized by you you might have thought I meant you, personally. I was referring to newbies in general but that's just poor word choice on my part.
whitefire • 13 August 2012 at 5:02 PM
@LizardFeather I messed up on MY part, too. (: I edited, and you should read it.@OrderedChaos I realize that, and I was about to post something about it from my side last night when the connection cut out. I was also trying to think of solutions while I was playing with my chinchillas. I haven't come up with anything good yet, but maybe there could be a way to test people who are starting without them knowing so that Ian could know whether someone's a side or not. I personally am honest and would not cheat to get a newbie LE, but I know that there are some heartless people (I guess heartless is my word of the weak! XD) who wouldn't be as trustworthy. That's why an automatic test, like one that the starting people won't see, would be a good idea. But what kind of test would work on this, when some people have siblings...?
