Calling all artists of Eggcave! (There is CC to be won!)

Hey guys 😊 So in real life I'm an 18 year old student. As such I'm sort of perpetually broke. I also take a lot of pictures, and if I say so myself I'm not half bad. I am starting a business. (Crazy, I know) I'm launching a line of greeting cards. I already have a shop that is interested.

ANYWAY:

The point is that I need a logo. To be printed on the back of cards. I can't draw for anything, but I know that lots of you guys can. ^.^
The image needs to have been created on a computer. I don't know a lot about drawing software, but it needs to be a computer image 😋.

The Image CANNOT BE LARGE. It won't have to be tiny. but remember, back of a greeting card 😊 It will need to feature the name of my fledgeling company, Crocus Greeting Cards. I would love if there could be the outline of a bird could be included. I would prefer the logo to be black and white.

DEADLINE: I absolutely must have the design by August 20th.

The winner will receive 400 CC as payment.

Lots of people have been making the bird a hummingbird. While I don't dislike that idea, I had been thinking more along the lines of a sparrow, dove or finch type body.

@chapus2009 I am thinking that I wouldn't want it to be much taller than 5cm, and then the width could be around 7cm

I love the font Garamond personally, but as long as it is clearly legible I'm not picky. If it's somewhat difficult to read then avoid it.

Also, I find it cool that you make greeting cards! 😃 This summer I also made greeting cards and all sold. ^^ I actually just came back from vacation, and together, be and ladybugheart took approximately 6 thousand photos. XD

If you were wondering how I did it, I took pictures of the real thing and turned them black and white and fiddled with transparency then put them together. GIMP is a pretty nifty program. x3

Now, if this idea were actually used, I'm not sure if you'd want to simplify it or something, but if you'd like to see anything specific done to the image there, let know and I can tweak it.

Though I'm guessing everyone else is going to have ideas tons better than mine, haha.
