Uhm, I'll start now I guess.



Miki was in her cell, her blue eyes scanned the room, she had never been there before, it was new. But she knew she would be bored soon, not being able to move around was very limiting. And there were only so many games you could do without going anywhere. Not to mention she couldn't even see the entire room from where she was. But she was making the most of being in a new place, despite the fact that she had been taken from her home.

Here we are again. Rubbing her eyes, Katia sat up and leaned herself on one arm. She turned to stare at the cell. Living in these terrible conditions for how long now, a year? Her hair shone dirtily as she watched a rat crawl past.
Her eyes, he only things part of her that weren't dulled, glinted maniacally as she stared hard at the rat, with so much concentration it was as if smoke was coming out of her ears. The rat wobbled, seeming to lose balance. It squealled crazily as it flailed only a foot above the air. She began trembling with focus as the rat climbed higher and higher in the air. She collapsed onto the ground, shivering uncontrollably as the rat fell with a crunch and a scream. After a few seconds recovering, she snatched the weakened rat and snapped it in half. The blood poured out onto the cold floor as she then threw it at the wall. The two pieces hit the wall with a sickening crunch, sliding to the floor.
For Katia, this was entertainment. She would take a disgusting, harmful rodent or insect and destroy it while training up her powers. She turned to the wall and etched another line into it. Another day.. Another death.. It was vulgar but what could she do? Secretly she liked it...

Miki's eyes widened when she saw Katia kill a rat in a very disgusting manner from the cell across from her. Unable to do anything, a tear rolled down her face. She said over and over again in her mind. "Why would you do that? Why would you do that?" until finally the message reached her through telepathy, nothing but a whisper. Miki couldn't make her ability work a lot, most of the time she spoke to herself in hopes that she could reach someone.

Katia's purple eyes glowed in all shade as she stared across at the girl. She projected a message back to her, trying her hardest. Eventually it came across. "Bored, I was bored... It helps me train, keeps me stimulated and makes sure I don't catch diseases. It's not like that rat will be a good and loyal companion to me, and now not to anyone..." 'mmph!' she cried, clutching her head. The message had been to long, and her head felt as if it was being crushed.

"Do not try too hard." Miki said, more clear this time. It seems her ability was working better at the moment. "I am Miki, I'm new here. But, I was born with unstable strength, I cannot move around a lot." she explained.

Frowning a bit, Alexin cocked his head to the side, wondering what Katie meant. There were no questions asked, just examining. All experiments were checked on early in the morning before they would be taken to breakfast at 8:00 am. The hour between waking up and breakfast would be used for statistics - if every experiment was in a good condition, the ohysical activity and whatnot. He smiled sheepishly.
"I... don't have any questions, except that I have to check up on you - you're one of the newest arrivals, so we'll have to do some extra examinations." he stated, motioning towards the clipboard. "And your coughing... It... isn't from the cold... is it?" he frowned in worry.

Having checked up on almost all of the experiments, the female scientist finally reached one of the last cages, in which was situated a young-looking girl, with deathly white complexion. The woman paused, looking at her in amusement. The girl looked awfully a lot like an albino herself...
"Can you see me? Can you hear me?" the woman shone a medical flashlight into Miki's eye, to check her reactions.

A loud crack jolted him out of his sleep and Eytan nearly jumped up from his bed, looking around frantically. With the corner of his eyes, he caught movement in a nearby cage, turning to look at a bloodied and angered raven-headed girl. He frowned in disgust, warily approaching the bars.
"What did you do?" he asked, looking at the rat.

Laura shed a tear, knowing she was completly alone in this horrid place. She pulled out a small dagger, and stabbed herself. "I may as well go Emo," She thought, "Who knows? Maybe they actually care a bit and try to heal it..." She winced at the pain and cut her other hand.

Miki looked at the scientist easily, eyeing her every move. But moving was a problem. "I can hear you, I can hear you." she was used to repeating herself often, as messages didn't always reach the recipient.

Laura sighed again as the pool of blood in her floating orb grew bigger and bigger. "Well," Said Laura, "If I am to die today, I may as well start now." She then started whispering the words of a poem she wrote as a child.

"Sometimes...
Life is cruel
but we always have each other,
life will go on,
As always,
But we will always remember the past...."

Lauras voice rose louder and louder, until it was so loud all of the other chirldren could hear.

"Sometimes...
Life is cruel,
But we shall always get through it....
Life is cruel sometimes....
But we always...
Have each other...."

Laura stopped, and realized how loud she was singing. "Oh no..." Was all she said after, and clapped a hand over her mouth.

Katia smiled over at the girl. Deciding that telepathy could be trained at some other moment of time, she said aloud 'Im Katia, Miki, nice to meet you.'

The petite girl then turned to stare at the taller boy glaring at her. 'I killed the rat.' she simply said, though somehow her poker face had failed and there were signs of a highly disturbed young child showing through.

From his position on the floor, smiling cheerily at Katie, Alexin also had a fairly clear view of the close cages, in one of which resided the weapon girl. With the corner of his eyes, he caught a glimpse of bright crimson and his head quickly snapped to Laura.

His whole body froze. The girl stood in the cell, showered in her own blood, bright red standing out on her pale skin. He jolted. Both his labcoat and clipboard lay forgotten on the ground as he darted to the cage, fetching a pair of keys from his pocket and fiddling wildly with the lock. Once opened, the door was fiercely kicked open as Alexin raced to the girl, snatching the knife from her.
"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!?!" he exclaimed, his voice sounding raspy and distraught.

Taken aback from the sudden whisper that played in her mind, the woman raised an eyebrow, a smirk appearing on her face.
"We have ourselves a telepath..." she praised, scribbling on the clipboard. "Can you produce longer scentences?" she asked.

Despite being slightly surprised of the telepathic voice, Eytan blinked once nonchalantly and leaned on the bars. "You're ... insane." he stated, rather simply and dully. "Telepath?" he questioned.

Laura glared at the man. "I was thinking..." she started. "No, what I was doing is killing myself! Ours lives will never be the same again, no matter what we do! Why should I NOT be doing this?! Im not a test subject, and I never will be again if I do this!!" She glared at the man, and turned to face the wall.

Opaline was here for years and she always thought that her family will come to save her,that brother would come any minute to take her back home. Still as she imagined Alexin's description of the outside she realized her memory of the world was fading.

Opaline's hope that she would be saved by someone else vanished and the wish to escape thanks to her own actions bloomed. Immediately she started purring together a plan.

First off she had a chance only at night but the only time her cell was opened was when she was examined. That was in the morning. Perhaps she needed to come into alliance with other experiments to succeed.

Three shadows emerged from Opaline's cell heading out to find people who's abilities could help her.

"Not really. Sometimes though." her voice became louder, as though someone were adjusting volume on a stereo. "It's hard to control though, it's all so very new to me." it became more of a whisper towards the end of her sentence.

"Oh, my coughing...it's um, I thought the scientist knew." Katie hesitated a bit, "My heart, it doesn't work like it should. That's all my parents told me. They knew more, but thought it would worry me. It's no problem." She didn't want to worry him.

Katia nodded. 'Im new at it..' she stated aloud. 'I only figured I had it a few months ago.' she explained. She then accepted his statement fully. 'I know I am, but killing the rat was hard logic.' she declared, staring him straight in the eyes.

Alexin paused, knife still hanging limp in his hand. He threw the bloodied weapon aside and approach, putting a light hand on her shoulder. He hesitated, but succeeded in answering at the end.
"I don't know why ... why you shouldn't be doing this." he stuttered out as a start. "I ...can't advise you not to, because I don't know what you're going through... what you're... all going through... But you haven't even tried, getting out, I mean... you... don't even know that maybe you could be free, some day..." he let out a small smile, but realized Laura couldn't see it. The girl remained standing towards the wall, so he withdrew his hand and moved backwards, ready to leave in despair...

Laura produced another knife out of her arm and said, "I can do this all day, you know." And cut her arm again. She smiled at the thought of what was probably going on in the mans mind.

"Im sorry, but I dont care anymore about being free. I just want all of these stupid memories of this horrid place GONE." Said Laura.

SUMMARY

The experiments were awakened by an old man banging on the cells. Then two scientists - Alexin and Devidia checked up on the experiments. Alexin stayed with Opaline a bit. Then he went ahead, stopping by Katie's and Jackie's cell . Katia crushed a rat with her levitating powers and a lot of people were disgusted. Katia and Miki had a telepathic conversation. Eytan talked to Katia too. Opaline used her shadow magic to send a shadow in Christa's cage and contact her. Katie overused her powers, making her convulse and the doctors had to nurture her. Fang reached his hand through the wall of his cell and pulled out two kittens, one of which, he sent to Christa. Mina woke up and Katie told her about the prison. Mina accidentally cracked one of the bars of her cell.
Everyone was brought to breakfast, some with shocking collars on their necks. Fang made a trick with his collar, using his powers to take it off, activate it and throw it on Eytan. Eytan was shocked , then the collar flew off, shocking Fang, Christa and Katia. They were rushed to the medical wing, except Fang. Opaline was visited by Alexin who brought her food. Then Katie went to them using her invisibility and showed them her book. Miki was brought to the cafeteria and fed by Samuel.
Eytan and Katia awoke, welcomed by Christa. Leo was visited by Devidia and realized she was his mother. Now, everyone is about to be let out into the gardens.

Miki was tired from all of the telepathy, she wasn't used to doing so much in one day. She closed her eyes slowly an fell asleep, sitting peacefully in the same position she had been in from the start.
