Dead times...?

I have realised that near end August-beginning September, Egg Cave is VERY quiet and empty.

Why so lonely?

1- School.
2- Many people have taken a hiatus or even quit.

Effects:

1- More people take hiatuses, since they have nothing to do since their friends are on hiatus. Imagine it as some dominoes, one goes, and the other ones start falling.
2- The Livepulse is slow, and nobody is on the Forums.
3- Even active users have barely any Notifications.

I can see this difference quite easily, since I remember when I had TOO many Notifications and I was very busy on Egg Cave and that the Livepulse was very fast.

Has anyone seen this...? ☹️

@nroosangel It's not stupid to ask. X3 I asked the same question once too. A hiatus is when someone takes a 'break'. So lets say someone takes a hiatus for a month, the user is not online for a month.

Yep, I've seen this lately.

I don't think it's a bad thing though. It means creatures rarity will stay down, cause less users will be getting monthlies/cave releases. And then when egg cave gets active again....WE SHALL HAVE DESIRABLE CREATURES! *evil cackle*

Yup,and all of the hia..hiat..(cant say word without getting angry) , well you know what, is making me feel down.I hate it when i wait for a few hours and get no notifications DX

I was just thinking the same thing. It is sooo slow! I have a topic that I posted on the trades forums hours and hours ago, and when I checked to see if it needed a bump, it was still high on the first page.

@chapus2009 same here :/ For some reason i get exited every time i see a notification and when there is none it feels disappointing

@onyx Same here. And sometimes I get a notification that someone posted on my wall, but then it finishes by being like a feeding demand... XS

Yeah, I have noticed... But between school and watching my bro. Its kind of hard for me to get on... The only reson I stay is because of RPing.. AND LOLA! My canadian sister XD

I remember when at the start of October.

The livepulse's topics changed every 10 seconds. [Quite literally.]

But now, it's like... deserted.

I remember when I created my first roleplay. Everything was too fast, and everybody announced that they had to quit the roleplay because things were getting posted and were changing plotlines too quickly.

It's not even a year for me.

Things change, all too fast.

I don't even know why I'm still staying here. All I know is that many newbies nowadays quit within the first WEEK, which was a MONTH, 3 months ago. Maybe that's why I can't give out the creatures. Even if they're pixels, they still hold memories.

I miss Eggcave.

@hayz Same here. I remember that my first RPs literaly EXPLODED. o.o Now, they barely make any success... I also remember that I was always complaining that I had TOO many Notifications. I would rather have too many than not enough. Many of my friends are on hiatus or have even quit. It breaks my heart to see them leave... ☹️

I will be sad with you. ☹️ Egg Cave is not Egg Cave without the Egg Cavers. Most of my friends aren't online when I am. I remember when I made my first topic and it EXPLODED! Everyone was welcoming me, saying hey, and being... friendly. Now they're all gone, and sometimes it takes hours for people to poet on topics. ☹️
This happend in 6 months.
