Poem gallery? <3

I decided that instead of doing a new Topic for every poem I post, I decided to do a single Topic and post poems from time to time. ^-^ I might put some older poems. 😊

Today's poem:

(Written by me)

Shattered windows,
In a quiet town.
Leafless willows,
And not a sound.

A lonely cat walks by,
In search of a new friend.
He searched so long and tries not to cry,
So he keeps his sadness suspend.

A one day by a quiet winter night,
The lonely tom catches a lovely sight.
A golden she-cat walks by in the powedery snow,
And not longer does his heart have sorrow.

Not sure how to talk to the new cat,
He thought there and sat,
But then she called for him,
His heart began to sing.

He jumped down from his home,
The cat he meet was called Alice.
She said she came from Rome,
And that she lived in a palace.
But she escaped after a betrayal,
And around the world she sailed,
In search for a new home.

The two cats kept meeting day and night,
And together they stand at fight,
Against hunger and cold,
So that their souls would not be sold.

The days passed by,
The cats saw the bird fly,
But one day,
Their wild life paid,
For Alice had gotten sick.

The tom tried everything to keep her alive,
But death had arrived.
Alice's final words in the paws of the tom were:

"Thank you for me a happy cat, dear tom. I hope that your dreams will come true." said Alice as her soul flew away.

"But...



...you are my dream."

Old poem written by me:

I am walking,
On a path.
A sweet melody plays,
Yet I cannot hear it.

I keep walking,
And the melody still plays.
Around me is nothing,
Just darkness and lost souls.

Yet they can't hurt me,
Because I am already dead,
They don't see me.
But I still can't hear the melody.

The melody is not music,
Nor is it singing.
That melody is mine.
It's the beat of my life.
Yet I have lost it.
That is why I can't hear it.

When I could hear it,
I would laugh,
Thinking I would never die..

Here is another old poem: 😸

A simple lie,
Does not just die,
It scars your soul,
And drags you into an endless hole.

People lied to me,
But you can't see,
The pain that it caused me,
For you have never known this pain.

I try to act like I'm not hurt,
And hope I will not alert,
I hope my eyes will not get watery,
Around you or the others around me.

Yet at night,
It just seems like a fight,
A fight against my emotions,
Who are as big as an ocean.

And every day,
I wish there was hope,
Yet it seems so far away,
So I have to do is to keep holding on the rope.

Another old one:


Why does everyone say,
That the rose in the most beautiful flower?
To my eyes, it's not beautiful at all!
I shall tell you why.

Something that is beautiful to me,
Does not have thorns.
Why does a rose have thorns?
When it almost has no enemies?
Is it because it is too precious?
Or is it just to close itself from the world?

Something beautiful to me,
Is something that says,
"Hey! Look, I'm beautiful, and you can't say otherwise!"
Not something that hides itself.
Something or someone that is not afraid,
To show it's inner beauty.

So a rose,
Is not beautiful.
Because it has thorns,
So we cannot touch it without hurting ourselves.

What about those other flowers?
The ones without thorns.
They are beautiful,
Because they have no thorns.
They are not afraid to face their enemies,
With no armor at all, just their leaves and petals.

But they are out there saying,
"Look! You can touch me! You can grab me!"
"I can't hurt you! I have no thorns!"

And that, is beauty to me.

The Four Seasons

In the spring,
Nature has so much to bring,
From the blossoming flowers,
To new-born birds coming by the hour.

In the summer,
There should be no bummer!
For the sun and the end of school brings smiles,
To children in the nearest miles.

In autumn,
With a slower rythm,
We see the leaves gain colours of fire,
It's just something to admire!

And in winter,
Try and be well,
To not catch a cold splinter,
And all will be swell.

Another old poem. XD


For every word I whisper,
For every time I dream,
For every day I cry,
For every time I think of fantasy,
Of hopes and losses.

I cry every tear I have,
Yet the pain is still there.
Why? Why did you leave me?
In such a barren place,
With no hopes or dreams?

Oh, I wish the stars would shine again!
Oh, I wish you would come back!
Bring me my dreams and hopes!
Before I die in such a lonely place!

Bring me back...
Before I'm gone....


Not so good thought.... XS I kinda hate it even.

I like the meaning behind it but loses needs to be changed to losses. 😸 and it doesn't really rhyme- but it's still good!

....unless im tired... then i make things like this:

My Loopy Late Night Poem:

There once was a dragon named Phil
He lived in the village of Smill
He loved to dance
But only could prance
So he said to himself
"I'm going to build a shelf"
The village was puzzled
Phil got muzzled
And he never spoke nonsense again.
