'Ello! 😃 I just joined like 25 mins ago, mostly out of boredom. xD Anyone have some good tips for me? I found the FAQ, so I'm good there, but anything else would be very helpful. ^^

Is there a limit to how many creatures you can feed? Or does it cost anything? O.o

@duskzehedgie There is no limit on how many you can feed it's free & you actually make money from it (called EC). However, you may only have up to 300 creatures in your own cove.

@duskzehedgie: xD No, you can feed as many as you want. It doesn't cost you anything, it actually gives you about 100 EC each time you feed one creature. 😃 On the 15th of months, it's Double/Triple Feed Day, meaning that you'll get twice or thrice the amount of EC you usually get. 😃

EC is used for buying things like tracels, you can use them at creature auctions, you could book creatures at tims with it, you could buy a Calla, or place a bet on the alkub race.

@duskzehedgie: People also use it for trading, because some creatures can be traded for EC. When you trade EC, you basically offer a common egg (eggs that can be frequently found the cave) and add the EC. 😃 Keeping creatures in Tim's makes them 100% happy, so they won't die.

If you read the descriptions of creatures, you'll see if they're available from the cove, bought with CC(you pay actual cash for it) or if they were given out in the cove for some period.

If you like the ones that aren't available yet, don't despair. stock up on EC and make sure to look into the trading centre 😊 some of LE's (limited edition) can be traded with EC 😊

@Duskzehedgie Tanks! 😊 And Tims is Tim's food shoppe. Go to explore and click on it. If your creatures are in tim's, they won't die. Go to the trade center to trade. But your account must be activated in order to trade.

@duskzehedgie: You go to the Trading Post, and you can make trades, search trades, etc. 😃 If you want to make a link to other players, you can go to view offers and there's a link on the bottom of where it shows your creatures in the Trade. 😃 Tim's is where you can put your creatures in there for up to 60 days, but of course, there's a price of 75 EC per creature. 😃 And for a heads up, when your offering something, check it with someone before you offer and accept an offer. 😃

@duskzehedgie: Don't worry, you'll get more. 😃 And for a tip, when you're trading, have at least 100k EC left after you trade, so plan ahead, or you'll be left broke. xD

Don't forget the @ sign in front of usernames, so the user gets a ping (like you did!) Example: @luv . Now I got a notification saying 'luv pinged you on ______" But you totally seem to have mastered this!

Here's some Egg Cave lingo you might find around:

FAQ = Frequently Asked Questions
EC = Egg Coins, the main currency of Egg Cave
Alternate meaning: Egg Cave
CC = Cave cash, the other currency of Egg Cave more purchase at the cash shop park
UFT = Up For Trade, a creature people are willing to trade
NFT/NUFT= Not For Trade/Never Up For Trade, a creature who the owner is not trading
UFA = Up For Adoption, which means offer anything.
It could also mean: Up For Auction, which means bidding and will normally be specified. UFS -Up for Sale- is my preferred term.
TNT = Transfer Not Trade, sending a creature to a side account (which you can have three of. )
CSP = Cash Shop Park or Cash Shop Pet.
CS Pet/ CC Pet= Any pet that had to be bought from the Cash Shop park
TA = Travel Agency, where you get backgrounds for your creatures
TC = Trade Center, where you trade for new creatures
AC = Adoption Center, where you can adopt new creatures

The archives is where you can view creatures and learn more about them.This is useful for finding creatures you will want to steal if you ever find them in cave.Rare creatures you're more likley to find in cash shop park then in the cave.You would have to trade a great number of EC or CC and a good creature to get a rare creature.In the trade center you can trade your creatures for creatures you want or make you own lot for somone to offer on.You can search for trades by the speices you want or by user to view a certain user's open trades.Welcome to eggcave!!!
