...Minecraft, anyone? >.<

I've been playing the Minecraft Pocket Edition demo on my phone for the past few weeks. Yesterday, my sister and I were allowed to buy the full version on our phones, for 7 bucks each (we can't buy anything else until October, but it's totally worth it).
My sister went on creative mode and built a hotel. I went on creative mode and covered every inch of land with trees. 8D Then I tried Survival, and I had to start from scratch, and the stupid spiders kept killing me. >.<

Well, I started a game of Minecraft in the Survival mode... 5 and a half hours ago, so at about 3: 30 am? I've been playing ever since. I'v built a 4-story house and I got iron weapons, and I love playing with the bow and arrow. 8D I shoot at zombies. Except when I miss, I have to go all the way down and retrieve my arrows and then the stupid skeletons and spiders kill me again. D8

Can I have any tips, if anyone plays the game? How's a good way to start? How can I mine for diamonds, gold, and lapiz luzula (or whatever the heck that dark blue thing is called) without getting stuck, or how can I find things more easily? What the heck do I do? The Pocket Edition doesn't have all the features on it, even though I bought it. And I can't figure out how to save my game...

@dreamer At least in the computer edition (way easier) when you open the menu top quit, it automatically quits.

I play it on Xbox. 😉
To get all the ore and stuff, (or at least get a better chance at finding some) Dig down to 12 or 10 blocks above bedrock (I would do both). Then just dig around and you may find some stuff. I found diamond (3) at 12 block above bedrock. It takes some time, but is well worth the effort!

I too, have fallen in love with the Minecraft games, but since my mother hates downloading/buying things for the computer or XBox, I'm stuck playing it on my IPod for all of my adolestece. X3
And the worse part is....I'm scared of dying. XD Because I hate dying on any type of video games... X3


Tips: The game saves itself, but you CAN save your spawn point, but that can only be done with the use of beds, which are going to be released along with a BUNCH of other good things(And scary Creepers! D: ) sometime in the fall for the IPod game. .3. (Soonish).

@Taffy789 I know the game saves itself; Whenever I exit, though, I'll go back to my game and POOF. Nothing. Isn't there a way to PERMANENTLY save a game, and delete it if you want? O.O I got the full version on my phone, (Samsung Galaxy Blaze) and it never saves. D:

The most I can do on the game is make iron tools. I love collecting bows from the skeletons and trying to shoot all the cows. 8D When I die, it's just an annoyance because I need to go back to the same spot within 5 minutes to get my stuff back. I hope they release chests on the phone vesion soon!

@Taffy789 I know! I was just playing it! 😃 More wool, and redstone, and tnt, and creepers, and wheat and pork and chicken and beef... And a Peaceful Mode!

I'm still having trouble saving my games on Minecraft. They never save after I exit. ☹️ I have a Samsung Galaxy S Blaze (the first one I think). My sister has a Mytouch, and HER games save automatically... Da heck?

I finally broke down and bought the game yesterday, after debating about it for years. >.<
I'm having a bunch of fun running around and killing monsters. I started in a tundra/snow biome, so finding trees for wood is a pain in the butt.

@pebblestar-nightclan Not sure, I've mostly just killed spiders and skeletons. I've seen the occasional creeper and stay far away from them. I had one sneak up on me when I was underground. That was unpleasant. >.< Didn't die though. I've seen these weird tall, skinny black things once or twice, but I don't know what they are.

I love the Creepers. 😃 And, the really tall black things are Endermen. ^^ If you don't look at them, you should be fine, but if you put your cursor over them, they stare at you. If you look away, they try to kill you, and they're really strong. x3 So don't look at them.
There are also zombies and slimes, if you haven't seen them yet, but I'll let you figure out about those on your own. xD Don't wanna spoil anymore for you.

@pebblestar-nightclan So that's what those things were. They were creepy. Had one standing outside my house once and I hid in a corner going "OMG what is that thing?! Don't kill me its my second day!" I have seen zombies, forgot about them.
And now I'm in the mood to play. Must find more iron and, hopefully, better ores.

My house is made out of sandstone and has two stories with an attic and a basement. XD
But my friend killed me by taking my iPod and walking right into a creeper ;-; so I have nothing on hand. I need to get more iron tools and stuff DX

@pebblestar-nightclan i HAD A LITTLE Base (at the world i deleted) and i would run around at night gathering resources and thought noting EXCEPT spiders could get in and when i came back the whole place was gone except for the furnace and the dungeon i was preparing to get ready to go in thats why i deleted it XD
