"I am but..." My voice trails off as I glance down hte corridoor. "Stay here." I excalim. As I walk down hte hall I see an eeire glowing and run as fast as possible into the hall. As I get closer I realize it is purple not green. But I continue to follow and soon reach a bright purple and black room alight by a purple and black flame. "How. HOw can this be?" I yell out angrily hte flame was special only to appear so often with the coming of purple lightning. I glance down at my cutie mark and see it glowing as well.

"Painting Scars, something's awfully wrong!" Shadow shouted, cantering at full speed down the corridor.

Shadow saw a bright, blazing green light. Squnting, Shadow continued running to Tusami.

I run down the corridor, and look at the green light. I squinted as I follow the filly. "Tusami!!!"

Shadow abrubtly stopped dead in her tracks, suddenly mezmerized by Tusami's glowing cutie mark. It seemed so framiliar...

FLASH!

Shadow had a breif recolection of jubled-up memories, and was suddenly confused. None of the memories made sense... and yet, in a way, they were so framiliar, it was like they were Shadow's memories. But that wasn't right. Was it?

"Shadow!" I ran next to her. "Are you ok?" I look at the green flames, and painful memories stab her.

Chrysalis, putting her in chains. Stabbing her.

I collapsed.

As Tusami dissapears and Painting Scars collapses, Shadow realised just how fast her world began unraveling. Shaking with fear, she fell to the floor, crying out in pain as her head hit the stone floor. Barely remaining consious, Shadow managed to stand slowly. Still shaking, She dragged Painting Scars back down the hall, hopefully where she would be safe, and went to investigate the glow, before she was sucked into it.

As soon as I am swallowed up by the glow it diminishes and I was all alone. I look around and find my self looking in at everything else. I see Shaodw's emotions. I sit htere watching her.

The sensation of falling surprised Shadow, and she let of a terrible scream of fear. She was falling down..

Down...

Down...

And she hit the ground hard. Groaning in pain, Shadow stood on her weak legs, and attempted to asses her situation, which wasn't the best one. She was alone, in an unknown place where she coulden't see any exits. Shadow was weak, tired and in a lot of pain from the fall. Yep. Shadow was definatly screwed this time. She would be likely to never see the light of day again. To never see Tusami again. To never find a special somepony, or have kids.

With a forlorn, resigned, and almost pitiful look on her face, Shadow layed down, and fell into a deep, fitful sleep full of nightmares as her depression slowly took over. The deep, dark feelings of the depression seeped in, eventually turning her nightmare into a dark, cold and wet hole. With no way out, Shadow wimpered and began to cry, feeling truley alone.

Almost instantly Shaodw disapears "No!" I yell out running around the crystal room looking ofr her trying to feel her emotions. But nothing. I sit down and weep softly. "Why did I have to bring her here?" I yelled to myself. "Why?" I lay down and cry a wave of depression hit me in my weakened state and I look up right above my head to see Shadow crying. I fly up nad touch my horn the the crystal. It does no work. I fall down. I hit hte floor with a loud thud and don't get up. I feel sick and start crying again. When I awaken I think I still have my eyes closed for all I saw was blackness. I frantically run about and trip over Painting Scars.

Shadow wakes up on top of a large slab of crystal. Her head was pounding, and she found no reason to try to leave. It was hopeless. She had officially resigned. It was over. Crying out again, Shadow began to produce awfull keeing sounds of crying, unable to stop her painful sobs and constant hiccups.

as i'm walking on a road i stop and sit down looking at the ground.
"i know this is the road to ponyville its here some were."
'i mumbled. i stand up and start walking again. as im walking i see a town i squint my eyes. as i look my eyes riden as i realize that it is ponyville. i started piking up the paste and started galloping.
"ponyville i found it" 'i cry. and started slowing down.
as im walking i walk into ponyville and started looking in at the place.

I saw Chrysalis everywhere, taking me, hurting me. Trying to turn me into a changeling... I heard a faint weeping from my unconsciousness, and opened my eyes. I heard the weeping, but I couldn't find it. I know I have to stop these thoughts about Chrysalis. I stood, and the thoughts came at me harder. "No... NO!" I scream, and my body glows white. The flame is then distinguished, everything in the castle clean and pure. My eyes glow brightly. I look around to find a source of the weeping. "Tusami!!! Shadow!!!"

Shadow heard somepony call her name. Her eyes opened lazily. She was still on the crystal, and she didn't know why. She stood on her legs, and called back, "Where are you?!" as loud as she could. Was somepony trying to find her? Would she make it out? Shadow sisn;t know, and although she tried to not get her hpes up, but she did anyway, and stared calling, her voice cracking with tears of joy. Somepony was reaching into the deep black hole, reaching out to Shadow.

"Painting Scars! Tusami! Where are you guys?!" she called, limping around on the crystal.

I looked around again, and heard my name. The voice was Shadow's. "Shadow!" She yelled, looking for the source of the voice. "Where are you?!"
