You have found out you're a wizard or witch with a strange letter delivered by an owl.
You may have already known that your a wizard or witch, but you do not know you're going on the biggest adventure Hogwarts has ever seen. How, you may ask? Because your going to Hogwarts with the Boy Who Lived, Harry Potter.

If your a first year then you have to be 11! Higher ages are wizards or witches that have already gone to Hogwarts. Animagi are wizards or witches that can transform into animals; You can be a special, but only if I like your form. (If I don't like your form then your character has to be a normal witch or wizard.) I always disliked Drace Malfoy but I seem to like his handsomeness XD. He will never love me because my mom is half-blood and my dad is pure-blood. He will just say my mom is a blood-traitor and like mother like daughter. I must say, I am nowhere near my mom. Perhaps I shall join the Order of the Phoenix when I turn of age. My mom adores it. I hear Mr. Sirius Black is a member. He always catches my eye. That is all for now.
P.S. I am so excited to meet you on the Hogwarts express. Pity we couldn't meet earlier because my parents only told me I was a witch on my birthday (July 12) when I got the envelope. They said it was best that I didn't know until I was ready for school. I'm worried if I flunk Hogwarts.

Jennifer finished the letter and got up. Putting a stamp and address on it, she hurried to the window and pushed it up. Jennifer climbed through. She ran to the nearby post office and dropped the letter in the box.

Lina tossed and turned in her sleep.
She sat down on a dinning table chair, looking at the front door, waiting for her parents to get home.

Lina looked away from the door, Staring at the blank black place mat.
Lina looked over at the door quickly as the sound of door nob turning. She ran over to the door, ready to jump into her father's loving arms.

Lina jumped back as the door slammed open, Her eyes widened as she saw the murderer, Sirius Black, turning his head toward her..

Lina sat straight up in her bed sweating and panting, she looked around in the small room and sighed with relief.

Jennifer got into her warm bed and sighed. Her mom and dad would be in England right now doing their jobs and catching big evil wizards. Somehow, evil was never a word to her. Evil wasn't evil. Jennifer sat up, confused by her own thoughts (her brain is like that). After a while, nothing happened. She laid down and closed her eyes. In the first time in many years, she was sound asleep in a few minutes. She wondered when her friend would be doing the same time now.

Lina went over to her wardrobe, pulled out a white tank top, her grey worn out jeans and put them on.

She went down the creaky stairs to the big dinning room (That was actually a living room), Lina glanced around, the only ones awake were Jacob, Taylor, Lilly and the orphanage owner, Miss Celsey.

Lina was walking to the kitchen when Miss Celsey said, "Lina! There's two letters for you, dear!" Lina turned on her heel and ran back over to Miss Celsey.
Miss Celsey was holding out a very strange letter and another letter obviously hand-written. She took the two letters and looked at the hand-written one.
"To: Lina Black. From: Jennifer Hudson." Lina read. She opened it and read it. After a minute or so she finished reading the letter and then looked at the second letter.

"Hogwarts of Witchcraft and Wizardry." It read, Lina's eyes went wide.

Lina was of course confused by both letters. "Hogwarts? Draco Malfoy? Half-blood, Pure-blood? Order of the Phoenix?" She said quietly yet very confusingly.

Lina thought about telling Miss Celsey about the letters but knew Celsey would probably think she's psycho.
Lina finished eating quickly and ran back up stairs and sat down on her bed, examining the Hogwarts letter closely.

She opened the 'Magical' letter and read, "We are pleased to inform you that Hogwarts of Witchcraft and Wizardry is inviting you to be one of our students." Lina looked even more confused but kept reading, "All Hogwarts students are to have.." Lina read the strange list.

Jennifer knew that Lina would not understand the letter. She had secretly stolen a name from the ministry when she visited it with her parents. The girl was pure-blood and was daughter of Sirius Black. She read everything about the wizarding world because her mom had forced her to do so. She was fascinated by the spells. She had come across the name Sirius Black at one point and saw his picture. She wished she knew if Lina Black looked like her dad. She would not even know anything until she got her letter. Jennifer sighed.

"But where do I go? How do I get these things? How do I get to Hogwarts?" Lina said, dumbstruck and frustrated.

She reread the letter, "Need Help? Where to go: Kings Cross, Platform nine and three quarters, Hogwarts Express. Where to get supplies: Diagon Ally." The words seemed to have come out of nowhere.

Lina sighed, she wasn't allowed to go anywhere unless she got adopted.

Miss Celsey called her downstairs, most likely to tell her to clean. So she went downstairs and not very surprising, had to clean.

Marina wakes up as Twill her great-aunt's owl screeches. "A letter for me?"

Marina looked in utter amazement as she read the letter.

" GRAM! COME HERE!"

"Yes dear."

"I've been accepted. It's from Hogwarts!"

"Now look at that! Well we must be off to Diagon Alley! Comb your hair and put on a robe! We must be off!"

Marina looked sadly at her, why did Great-Aunt Veronica have to die of cancer. It just wasn't fair. She looked in the mirror. Her hair! Marina looked at herself in disgust. Her blond hair was showing blonder than ever. Her eyes still blue as she didn't put on the green contacts. She hated herself for looking so beautiful, it reminded her of her mother. She had the same blue eyes, same tan skin, same blond hair. Marina forced herself to forget it. She didn't have enough time to worry about her hair. She slipped on her mangenta robe and combed her hair. Diagon Alley was beautiful. Great-Aunt occasionly took out a sickle or two to buy a peice of candy from the shops. They got her a wand from Oliver. It was made of mahogany and carved beautifully. It was embedded with an emerald M and was infused with dragon's blood. It costed 2 galleons and 21 sickles but leave it to Great-Aunt to bargain. She got it for a galleon. Great- Aunt was so full of excitement. She rattled off about her childhood days and how she lived in Diagon Alley because her parents owned a sweets s

A few hours later, a tired Lina finished cleaning the toilets, sinks, carpets and then dusting.
Lina understood why Miss Celsey made her clean, She was one of the older kids there and most of the kids are toddlers.

Lina drank some water then went back upstairs to her bed and plopped down.

Lina nearly hit her head on the ceiling as a loud scream came from downstairs. She ran down the room and jumped when it was on the third step on the staircase, She glanced over at the door to see a very tall man with a brown bushy beard and very old worn out clothes on standing by the now broken front door.

Lina looked over at a terrified Celsey and said to the tall man, "Who are you and what're you doing here?"

Jennifer was still sleeping when her mom and dad got home (it's morning in England). She woke up only when her mom put a charm on her ears making a very loud beeping sound.
"Why do I have to get up?" she said when the charm lifted.
"You need to buy your stuff," replied her mom. Jennifer dressed as fast as she could, choked on cereal, and fell out the front door. She set out to the car when she realized her parents were not moving.
"Hello! Are your going to stand there all day?" she asked them.
"No, we're going with a much faster transportation," said her dad. They taught her things about apparating and told Jennifer to grab one of them. She clung on tightly as they were forced into darkness. She opened her eyes and saw that they were in a dusty bar. Jennifer scanned the walls as if invisible shelves would pop up any moment. Her eyes landed on a huge man, a half-giant as she read with a girl her age, Lina.

Rowan glanced at the shadow flying towards her through the dark, gloomy night. She ducked under a table, watching the shadow come closer.
"Mreow."
"Hush, Rowena, hush.."
She pat the ancient cat gently between her ears. She was her only family member.
A letter drifted down from the window. Rowan crept cautiously towards it, snatching it and running back to her table. She ripped it open, reading a hand-written letter from Minerva McGonagall.
"Rowena! I've been accepted..." Rowena rubbed her, making purring noises as she seemed to smile happily.

"Oh," The very tall man said, picking up the door and putting it where it was once.
"Names' Rubeus Hagrid, Jus' call me Hagrid, If you'd like." The man now known as Hagrid said.

Hagrid walked over to Lina. "If yer wonderin' what I'm here fer, It's ter bring you to Hogwarts. It seemed ye were late for the train," He said "You still got yer list, ...?"
"Oh! um sorry, my name's Lina, er, Lina Black." Lina said, losing her brave act.

"Well no need ter be shy, Lina!" Hagrid said, he then got out a ticking watch and raised his bushy eyebrows. "Yeah, yer late. Looks like you'll have ter get yer stuff quickly." Hagrid said, putting the watch back into his pocket.

Lina completely forgot about Miss Celsey when Hagrid motioned her out the door.
