Lina massaged the place where Marina had slapped her, she turned her head towards where the speaker was saying,
"Ladies and gentlemen, Tonight's prom queen is.."
There was a long silence and it sounded as if everyone was holding their breaths;
"Lina Black!" The speaker shouted, Lina's eyes grew wide and she turned around to look over at Draco, a smile growing on her face.

Draco smirked. "Hear that, Mud-bloods?" Draco shouted. "Of course the Pure-blood wins."

Lina didn't know why, but she found that funny. She smirked and walked over to Draco.

Marina stood still with her mouth agape? Jennifer was wildly clapping but stopped when Mari looked at her and Rowan slightly smiled but Mari was fuming.

She grimaced as Malfoy shouted something for everyone to hear. Wait-wasn't Lina Black a-muggle born or as Malfoy called it, mud-blood.

"Oh yeah Malfoy" sneered Marina as she went up to him. "Well looks like that stupid girfriend of yours is a muggle-born, or should I say mud-blood. She saw Lina's face turn red and Malfoy speechless. "You better mind your mouth."

"10 points of Gryffindor" Snape calmly said. Marina turned around to see Mcgonagall and Snape staring at her. Malfoy smirked. "10 points of Slytherin. Malfoy's smirk faded. Luckily no one noticed the argument but now Malfoy knew about Lina. Marina felt a tiny sadness for Lina, Lina didn't deserve what she had just done to her. Mari held back her tears. She didn't know that Lina could make her regret her whole life. She didn't know yet what Lina's full power was...yet.

Lina didn't understand why Marina just said that, Lina wasn't a Muggle born, she was a pure-blood!

Lina thought again, maybe her mom was a Muggle? So that would make her half and half, All she knows that her father, Sirius Black, was a wizard.
"I-I'm not a Mud-blood! My father was a wizard and he's S-" Lina covered her mouth, what would Draco think if she said her father was Sirius Black?

Tears started forming in her eyes, She started sobbing and moaning.

Then Lina felt something in her.. transforming? Lina let out a loud whimper but it sounded like a dog.
Lina's nails started forming into claws and her raven black hair looked as if it were making more hair grow, her pupils turned bigger and she went on all fours.

Lina heard a gasp from Professor McGonagall and the music stop.

Lina's ears went back and she whimpered, she glanced around in the room.

Lina let out a howl and started running towards the door, her claws making small clicking noises.
She ran all the way to the grounds, she then took in a deep breath and howled once again.

Lina made a run for the darkened forest up ahead.

Lina whimpered and made a stop when a arrow nearly hit her tail, "Oi! Stop ri' there, ye!" Said a deep voice from where the arrow came from, Lina looked over at the voice to see Hagrid carrying a crossbow, pointing it right at her!

Lina whimpered again when he drew another arrow back, Hagrid was about to shoot it when a voice came from the castle, "Rubess! Stop! That's a student!" Lina looked over at the castle to see Professor McGonagall running towards them with other teachers and Professors.

Marina stood frozen. Everyone hurried to their common room. She ran outside to the balcony to see Hagrid nearly shoot Lina, but was saved by McGonagal.
Lina was a werewolf?

Marina went to her room and started writing the letter. She apoligized but told LLina she was still crazy and Malfoy was trouble. She also wrote this.." But I must tell you a truth. Your father isn't Sirius Black. Meet me at breakfast and I'll tell you what I know. Please forgive me. Friends? Marina
P.S. You looked beautiful at the ball."

The next morning she tied it across one of the school's owls to give to Lina.

Rowan chased after Lina. Feeling relieved that Hagrid wan't going to shoot Lina, she asked, "Lina? Are you okay?" Her family had told her about Animagi. She wasn't one, but she knew lots about them.

@himaja Actually, Lina's a Animagus, and her creature is the same as Sirius's. Also, no one is supposed to know Sirius is Lina's father unless they are a Seer. Sorry.

Lina made a run for the forest once again as the Professors and teachers got closer, not wanting anyone to see her as.. as the monster she is.. both witch and dog.

Lina felt the tears coming back and she whimpered.
She stopped at a lake, crying and gasping for breath.

Lina looked into the water and was even frightened by herself. She backed away over to a tree and started to feel very tiresome.

Only in a few minutes did Lina faint.

Jennifer gasped when Lina was announced and clapped so hard she thought her hands would fall off. Marina noticed and she stopped.

Jennifer watched as Lina ran away. She didn't even bother running after her best friend. She knew what it was like to be stuck in that situation... and partly, Jennifer wasn't surprised.

Mari led Lina to the Gryffindor table and she was met by ugly stares.

"I am so sorry Lina. I don't know how I did that to you. I'm so sorry. I know you're not mud-blood you're a half-blood. My dad knew your mom. Her name was Marina too. She lived next to us. My dad always told me about her. And she looked just like you. My dad has pictures of her and him and my mom in the house. Mari seemed to be lost in a dream. There was also this man who sort of looked like Sirius Black coming to the house once a year. Sorry, lost myself there. She was killed by You-Know-Who and his followers. There was a lot of bombing, in the end Lucius Malfoy killed her. I saw it. I was 3 yrs. old. Again, I'm sorry. But just do me a favor, stay away from Draco.

Lina just looked at her, she wondered what she would say, would she smirk and say something evil again or forgive her. Mari was about to find out.

Lina's eyes snapped open and she rubbed her eyes.
She suddenly remembered what happened last night then rushed over to the lake.
Lina sighed with relief as see saw the raven haired witch she actually was.

She noticed she didn't have any clothes on and looked around, "Oh, I'm so not going back in there like this.." Lina said grumpily as she took out a small twig out of her hair.

Lina knew only one thing she could do without being completely embarrassed for life. She had to go back in as a dog.

Lina tried to transform back into her dog form and after a few seconds of thinking, she felt herself transform and she started running toward a cloud of smoke that was most likely Hagrid's hut. (Lina had gotten a glance from Hagrid's house when he nearly killed her)

After she was at the edge of the forest, she looked around the tree she was hiding behind and saw that the smoke was coming from Hagrid's fireplace.

Lina tried to cough as quietly as she could then rushed over to Hagrid's pumpkin patch.
She then ran over to the castle and quickly walked up the stone steps, careful for no one to see her.

Mari tied the message to the owl's leg and sent it to Lina. She hoped she would understand.

"Aaaaaaaah"she shrieked as Malfoy pushed her on to the wall. He pointed his wand into her throat and let go of her.

"Your that kid, right? Well, if you cross my path again I will kill you. I mean it and leave Lina alone. I get any news 'bout you bein' mean to her, well you can decide your own fate. Watch out and you know what, if you were someone else I might of killed out but lets say that you are kinda cute."

Mari grabbed her throat and saw that Jennifer was watching the whole thing. Mari slumped back on to the wall then she fell unconcious.

Lina tried to not make any clicking noises from her long claws but it seemed almost impossible.
She turned on a corner then suddenly ran into something.

Lina looked up to see Headmaster Dumbledore looking down at her, "Hello, Lina." Dumbledore said brightly, as if she wasn't a black dog walking around in the safest place ever; Hogwarts.

Lina blinked a few times and tilted her head to tell him her confusion.
"Oh, I've known you were a Animagus ever since I made Professor McGonagall send you the Hogwarts letter." Dumbledore chuckled, he's blue eyes looked as though they were looking right through her.

Jennifer watched Marina and Draco without stopping them. Marina slumped to the floor. Jennifer seemed to wake up from a dream.
"Marina!" she cried shaking her. Marina just blacked out and would be out pretty soon but she couldn't just leave her here. Jennifer bit her lip. She could take her to the Hospital Wing... but what if they asked her what happened? She would not tell on Draco. Jennifer could say she found Marina like that. Maybe... she grabbed Marina by the arm and began to haul. She stopped a while later, panting and afraid she must have pulled Marina's arm out of it's sockets.
"There's got to be an easier way to do this," she said out loud.

Lina pawed at the ground awkwardly, not knowing what to do.
Her ears perked up as she heard a familiar voice not too far away.

Lina nodded at Dumbledore and ran towards Jennifer, hoping she would at least know it was her.

Lina turned on another corner and found herself right behind Jennifer, Lina thought of what to do without scaring the skin off of her.
Lina just decided that maybe she wouldn't be too scared..

She let out a bark and jumped up, making a thud.

Lina nodded at her and walked over to Marina, bit down on her robes and started to kind of drag her. (It kind of reminds me of that one part when Snape's floating around and his head kept on hitting the ceiling in Prisoner of Azkaban. xD)

Lina kept on looking up at Jennifer in a confusing way, Why would she not freak out that her friend was a black dog?

Rowan suddenly appeared next to them. Marina looked quite funny, being dragged by a black dog. "Do you want help?" she asked politely. They seemed to be doing well on their own , but she wanted to help anyways.

Lina had dropped Marina's legs; Which made a 'Thunk!' noise, and Lina nodded at Rowan. They should probably have more help since Lina can't transform without being scarred with embarrassment.

Lina, Jennifer and Rowan continued their way to the Hospital Wing.

Rowan dragged Marina along, her muscles working as hard as they could. Nearly tripping over a stray ink bottle, she starting zoning out again, until she almost DID slip over a splotch of ink on the ground. "AGH!" said Rowan. Her cheeks turned red, as she muttered, "Sorry."

Jennifer nodded and helped drag Marina to the Hospital Wing. Sure enough, the nurse swept over them putting Marina in a bed and doing stuff with her wand.
Then, she noticed the black dog that was Lina.
"You girl. You've probably made the biggest student-hunt in the school. Being out on the grounds like that!" She continued to yell stuff.

Lina slightly blushed as Madam Pomfrey yelled many things at her, Some about her being an Animagus then others being about how she went into the Forbidden Forest and how Hagrid nearly killed her, She went on and on and on..

Lina finally had barked in annoyance and left the Hospital Wing, now back to her sneaky mode and slowly made her way back to the Slytherin common room.
Lina was glad it was breakfast time, Not many students were walking around but she almost ran into the Gryffindor Perfect, Percy; Ron's older brother by the looks of it.

Lina finally got to the secret door, "Sepino Linair, What is the new password?" Lina asked quietly, glancing around. "Opineas" Said a very creepy voice, as if a snake was trying to talk English.

"Opineas" Lina barked, the door opened as always and she peaked around the room and sighed with relief as no one was in there.
Lina rushed up the stairs, also peaking in the girl's dorm then
going into the room.

She transformed back into her human form and ran over to her small dresser and grabbed her Slytherin uniform then got dressed and left the girl's dorm.
