Rowan stared at the boys coming. "Um, I think I'll go get a
drink, do you want one?" she asked quickly before a boy came along. She didn't want to dance. Especially with a stranger.

Jennifer said,"Yeah," and hurried away.
"That was creepy," she said to Rowan a while later sipping some butter beer.
"What are you girls doing?!" shrieked a voice Jennifer could easily identify as Professor McGonagall. She swooped over them yelling,"Dance! You girls haven't found a partner yet? Get one now! Just grab somebody!" with that, Rowan and her ran into the crowd finding a boy each. Most of the boys who asked for a dance with them earlier heard Professor McGonagal earlier hurried to try their luck again. Surprisingly, it wasn't one of them who asked Jennifer first. It was Harry O_O

Rowan looked at Harry. He was obviously staring at Jennifer, and not her. "Um..." she said, feeling awkward. "I'll go get us a drink. I'll be back later." Rowan hurried off, going off to find a place to sit. She did NOT want to dance, no matter how good-looking ANY boy was.

Jennifer shrugged and smiled.
"When I had a best friend we weren't even old enough to dance with boys," she said,"We couldn't even reach each other." Jennifer saw the confusion on Rowan's face and said,"My family lived in an apartment building in America for a while. We were neighbors and could see each other everyday. There was a fence and we pretended it was a magical barrier between us, keeping us apart," she said and frowned. Jennifer had never really said anything about her childhood to anyone in her life, ever. They stopped in front of the Fat Lady.
"What's the password?" they asked each other.
"I don't know. It's changes overnight and it's over twelve o'clock right now," they were worried. They needed to get in.

After Lina finished eating, most of the students came in with dark circles under their eyes. Most likely couldn't sleep because of the Ball.
"Quiet down, please." Said a ancient voice from where the Professors were.
Lina looked over to pay attention and saw Headmaster Dumbledore standing up, beaming at the students.

"Classes have been canceled due to the Ball, which is taking place tonight, All students may wander the grounds, That is all I have to say." Dumbledore went back to his seat and sat down.

Lina's lips formed a broad smile and she got up and left the Great Hall. Before Lina could even go to the grounds, Feral suddenly came flying over to her and dropped a very lumpy package.
Lina picked it up and ran back to the Slytherin common room.

After moments of thinking, Lina remembered. "Sepino Linair." Lina said.
The door opened and Lina walked in, she unwrapped the package and saw a beautiful black velvet dress with silver at the ends.

Lina looked at her watch; It was 7:59! Lina ran to the girl's dorm and got dressed quickly, brushed her hair and put a tiny bit of make-up on then rushed out of the girl's dorm.

Lina was fixing her hair a little bit when she saw Draco, at the same spot where he was when she had woken up.
"Draco, really, Is something wrong? Why aren't you at the Ball?" Lina asked, a bit worried.
Draco looked over at her again and sighed. "I didn't ask anybody." Draco mumbled.
"Oh.." Lina also sighed. "No one asked me, either."

Lina walked over to him and sat down on one of the sofas, staring at the flickering fire.
"Lina?" Draco said.
Lina looked over at him and saw that he was staring at her, Lina stared back.
"...Will you go to the Ball with me?"
Lina gaped.

Rowan panicked. She did not want to dance. At all. "Oh no, oh no, oh no.." she whispered to herself. She knew that she didn't have any good dress robes, no family to lend her some, therefore, adding up to quite an appearance.

Coincidentally, she found some roses laying on the floor. On a whim, she wove the roses around her black, plain dress robes, and tied them together to make a fancy hair tie. Rowan smiled, satisfied.

Marina looked around. Her eyes landed on Rowan who was wearing a very simple but elegant black robe. Marina had french braided her blonde hair and then put it up and was wearing a blue dress that was beautifully tailored. She wore a light blue cloak that only covered her back like a cloak.

She smiled at Rowan and Jennifer-Jennifer looked so beautiful in her dress.

Suddenly Mari saw Lina dancing with Draco Malfoy! She watched mouth agape at Lina. Draco went back to the refreshments table and Marina stomped toward Lina.

"Lina!"

Lina snapped her head back to her.

"Are you crazy?"

"I can choose whatever I want and you are not the boss of me." Lina replied calmly. (You don't mind @candyluver6789 , right?")

Mari slapped Lina across her face. She quickly drew her hand back, what had she done?

"Oh well"she thought, "that little brute deserved it. Marina flipped her hair and stomped off."


"Ladies and gentlemen. Tonight's prom queen is.............
(Who should it be? I think it should be lina cuz then Mari will get mad at her and add epicness but Lina will still be friends with Rowana and Jennifer and make them choose sides and blah blah.....)
